Bruce BThe lady at the location was helpful but I had to go to st Cathrine's to get the trailer and I placed the order in December 2025, 6 months in advance. The guy at st Cathrine's location attached the trailer and told me the lights are ok so I trusted him and never checked myself. After loading the truck, on June 19th night, I decided to check the trailer lights and found they weren't working. I called U-Haul. The technician showed up around 1030pm, he said it's the socket assembly on the truck and he doesn't have the part on him so he has to go to pick it up. I went to bed as I was planning to leave in 3-4 hours leaving the tech with the keys. He returned after some times knocked on my door and told my wife everything is working as he replaced the faulty socket. Next morning, while leaving I found that the lights are working if I route the 4 pins cable only in a certain way. It worked for me for early morning of June 20th, but after it became dark again on the night of June 20th the lights went dark and nothing helped. I was pulled over by cops and I was lucky not to get fine. It not the light the rest of rental was OK.

MICHAEL KYou need to let customers know that when they rent a one way truck and only want it for a day that they will be charged for 3 therefore the ridiculous cost. I will not be using uHaul ever again. When dropping off, the customer service rep was cold and not willing to work with us. I will be posting about this online and recommending others not use your business. At least other companies will help out their customers.

bernard dEverything and everyone was great Except- your app is too buggy to use. I rented on Friday and Sunday and couldn’t make it work start or finish.

Phil KI rented a trailer and a van. I was told it had a hitch. If this wasn't the case why didn't someone pick up on this and inform me before I made plans to pick up the van and the trailer together and only then find out I couldn't. This is a nightmare. I have to move on Sunday. No choice.. this has turned out the worse. I'm actually in a panic
MaryJane EThe trolly i paid extra was broken. Not good The uhaul is old too took lot of extra gas too and last i asked the concierge ans she told me, she didn’t have any connection withany internet provider. And when i call, bell- they do have contract.
chirag sTruck was blocked in by another truck for after hour mobile pick-up. I was sent to another location by customer service that I was told was a 24/7 location, it was also closed. Had to wait two hours past my reservation to get a truck which had a check engine light on. The Manager followed up the next day was very unhelpful, constantly interrupted me and refused to take any responsibility for what had happened.

John MThe customer service representatives are excellent. The parking is somewhat congested so perhaps there could be a better way aligning the vehicles for pick up.
CYNTHIA RThe seat in the moving van I rented was leaning left. It was an uncomfortable driving position. Also, the gas consumption was much higher than expected. I informed the U-Haul team of where I’d be going yet they did not provide any additional details on this. These trucks use a lot more gas than a standard car. It would have been nice to be given a heads up.
Trevor CI booked the rental in person quite a few weeks before and gave all the information requested. A few days before I received an emaill requesting me to confirm and I had to enter all the same information again. On the day of pickup I was told they couldn't see my reservation and they needed to make a new reservation and take my information a third time. After returning the unit a day earlier than I had to I received an email advising me of a late charge. Luckily I was able to deal with Lucy who took care of the problem right away and had the return store issue me a credit. Lucy was a pleasure to deal with and should be commended.

John JI would not recommend your head office who reserved and guaranteed a truck for 7:00 am and no one showed up until 8 because of holiday hours which you should have known
dwyne wMake whatever arrangements are necessary to allow customer to pick up vehicle from the location they book with. And, if by chance they have to change pick up, customer shoukd be offered something extra for the inconvenience.
ROSA PThe individual who was helping to hook up the trailer was very arrogant and pushy. He was also there when I dropped the trailer off. I’m not sure if he thought he needed to lecture me because I’m a woman or what his problem was but he made me feel really unwelcome. Never had this experience before. Hope I’m not forced to pick up from this location again.

Tara SThe person I met in the morning was fantastic at the Aldershot location. She was very cheerful. We discussed why I only had a 4 hour reservation when I was being charged a daily rate and she explained things to me. She went into they system and found the vehicle I had was not reserved outside the time I had it booked so updated my reservation to give me a bit more time. My muscles were definitely more grateful as it allowed me to take additional rest breaks. I had the vehicle back at the four and a half hour mark but that extra half hour helped a lot.

mahsudd mOn return staff allow a walk-in to jump the line of 3 customers instead of directing the person to get in line. The checkin of a truck which wasn't emptied was done while customers who had arrived ahead of the walk-in waited. 10 mins or so longer than needed. More awareness of other customers - specifically, who had unhitched and placed the rental back in place, needed. 5 stars now 4 because I generally come to this location and never had a problem - and this visit the attendant help unclog a signal plug which was appreciated.

Sean RConcrete blocks in front of the smaller units are too close to the doors and the gap between the blocks are not wide enough to have a dolly fit through. Need to be widened.

heather p | Overall ExperienceOn move in day, there was mouse poop everywhere. The door and the latch were difficult to open and close. I centrally, the latch rusted and broke off in my hand one night and I was unable to lock my storage unit. The entire parking lot and storage area had such inadequate lighting, and I always had to bring my own lights if I was coming in the evening. I had a terrible experience at this location and I’m happy I’m finally out of there. When they told me that they had to have my unit EMPTY to mend and replace the door - I was done with this location. I was then given some options surrounding moving locations, but I was still required to load and unload my own storage unit - costing me time, stress and overall an extremely poor experience at this location. I do hope that I have a better experience next time.

However when I tried to settle my account I was told that customers have been told that but it was not what was on his computer and he would look into it and get back to me As of today I have heard nothing and I have not received a credit Can you please rectify? Kim B | Overall ExperienceStaff tried to lie and say or storage booking didn't exist and that all the storage units were occupied. After minutes of explaining we indeed did book, randomly there was a unit available for us... Storage also closes at 10pm so we couldn't bring stuff after rush hour.
Safiya J | Overall ExperienceI have been repeatedly overcharged for my storage unit from the beginning of my account use until after I moved out. The first month promotion from Uhaul was never honoured. I have made numerous attempts to contact the Aldershot location, by phone and email and my calls were never returned over the whole 5 month period. I even waited on hold for an hour to contact Uhaul central Customer Service, they tried to get in touch with the Aldershot location, and couldn’t get a reply by phone, then they sent an email to the location, and still the Aldershot location didn’t reply to the message from Head Office Customer Service. The Aldershot location continues to charge me even after I moved out, despite my numerous emails advising them that I’d be moving out, and to stop charging me. They placed a lock on my unit, and never removed it even after I paid excessive extra charges. The lock remained in my unit long after my account was fully paid, which prevented me from moving out earlier resulting in several additional months of unnecessary storage costs. When I had paid for and arranged a moving service to move out of my storage unit, I couldn’t access my storage unit for the moving company because the Aldershot still had a lock on my storage unit. This is the worst predatory business practices I have ever seen, especially during the pandemic, and with such a large International Company like Uhaul, this is completely unacceptable. Customers of Uhaul at the Aldershot location have been leaving very Negative Reviews of the terrible customer service and overcharges at Uhaul at Aldershot. I would like Uhaul Head Office to assist me with providing a refund for all of the amounts that have been Overcharged on my account by Uhaul Aldershot. Please have Uhaul Head Office contact me to resolve the unethical business practices of the Uhaul Aldershot location and their numerous overcharges on my account.
