DWAYNE RVan was not clean, the driver cabin floor was dirty and muddy. Even the box of the truck was all dirty and have dirt and have to mop the floor before loading the truck.

Gurpinderjit SI rented a truck for 24 hours and a storage unit from this U-Haul location . I ended up finishing much earlier than expected, so I returned the truck to the same location that night to avoid going over the mileage. The next morning, I went in to return the key. I waited in line for nearly 30 minutes while the associate at the counter stood idle and only acknowledged me after an extended wait. Once she finally helped me, she called another associate to check the mileage with me. When he reviewed it, he first told me my total was $500, then changed it to $400, claiming I had driven over 200 miles (300 km). I immediately questioned this because I had calculated my mileage beforehand and had returned the truck to the same location overnight. Instead of listening, he dismissed me in a rude and unprofessional way. Frustrated, my partner and I went back inside to speak with the associate who had originally rented me the truck. We explained the situation and showed her a photo I had taken of the dashboard before driving the truck. After reviewing the picture and checking the system, she told us it was a "system glitch" and corrected the mileage. This entire experience was frustrating, disheartening, and left me feeling that this location is not trustworthy. If I didn’t already have a storage unit here, I would never return. Had I not taken photos for my own protection, I could have been wrongly charged $400–$500. No customer should have to worry about being overcharged due to system errors—or staff who dismiss concerns instead of resolving them.

IRFAN UAfter Greetings, I am very longtime customer of U Haul, Truck and Storage. This is my very first issue. when i pick up the truck i saw the fuel gage is not correct as shown in receipt. i have taken a picture and wait for lot IN charge. Unfortunately i didn't able to meet and i moved. Before returning the truck i filled 20.00 Cad. Gas (15.326L) and Returned the Vehicle. When Returning Yard In charge checked the vehicle and we chat about fuel issue and I explained the same. This vehicle will take around 18 Liters. for my runned km.. i filled less of 3 litres. However the gentlemen is right. But, My Request they charged 7.57 Ltrs and charged for 13.02 Cad Plus tax. Its bit higher. May be the gauge is not works well or some think is up normal with previous user. Thanks. Otherwise all the staffs are kind and helpful.

KINGSLEY PThis location was very busy at drop-off. It was a bit confusing where to leave the vehicle, as the area was overcrowded with cars waiting for people to dropped off their truck, there was nowhere to park. An employee came over and told me to leave it, and that he would park it for me. He was very pleasant and helpful, which made the experience much better despite the hectic situation.

Carole CLeft side light housing was zip-tied to the body of the trailer. Lot attendant at pick up was very friendly and helpful - even appologized for the state of the trailer. Nice man, professional and kind. Return lot attendant couldn't even be bothered to interupt his personal phone call to check our equipment in. He barley acknowledged us and started disconnecting the trailer without saying a single word to either of us. When he was done, he simply wandered off without saying anything. There were no other returns waiting to be processed. The office staff were very polite and courteous.

You would think the manager or CEO would have some common sense, customers would have many questions, and this would result in wait times. So the rating was based on how long we had to wait. Everything was fine, but ADD MORE STAFF.

NAFEES TMaking a reservation is only guaranteeing a phone call? One way Customer service agent hung up the phone on me after bullying me into a larger vehicle failed.
JOSHUA LI had a terrible experience with my U-Haul rental. The truck reeked of weed and cigarette smoke, which made the ride extremely uncomfortable. I have allergies to smoke and strong odors, and it triggered a serious reaction! I had to take medication because of it. U-Haul really needs to sanitize their vehicles before renting them out. This was unacceptable.
YADAB PTerrible experience returning after hours
ROHIT PWas misled by the travel distance... I was charged extra (over $100) because the distance was calculated in miles instead of kilometres. Canada uses the metric system (KM), while the US uses miles. This was extremely misleading, and U-Haul should make this much clearer to customers..

Prabhdeep Rworst experience the van is good, new but the lady charged me for the insurance that i already have for my personal car and at drop of she denied avout the conversation. i used only 25 km and i have my own insurance why i need their insurance for only 25 km infact for 25 km van consume maximum 3-4 liter gasoline but i put 9 liter of gasoline but at the end im so disappointed.
RANJIT SThey overcharged the customers after inspection, they just simply said its all good you will receive the email for the end charges. But after getting home you will be surprised that they will charge you up for the miscellaneous things without any prior notice.

Amarpreet DI reserved the vehicle at 9am and came to the location at 9 10am, but had to wait till 9 45 in the line to get the truck. There was no enough parking for my vehicle and I had to park 2 blocks away and walk to the location. Also I booked for a appliance dolly and furniture dolly, but they did not provide the furniture dolly saying that they ran out of it. It was so ridiculous that they said it's not available, though I reserved it 1 week ago. I ended up buying it out, spending more money and time. Additionally, the truck was filthy both in the cabin and rear, as there was no cleaning done. This was my worst experience ever with Uhaul.
SARAVANA KThe rental process was clear. I realize these vehicles get ample usage. It worked for our needs. The return was an experience not to be repeated. Trucks and drivers were scouring the location for a safe place to park, cramming vehicles willynilly. It was dark, dangerous. There should be an attendant in a kiosk to receive returning vehicles and assign suitable parking given the size of the trucks. It was not safe for anyone, especially those looking for the mysterious, poorly marked, inconvenient drop box. People were also very inconsiderate of one another and as a result our personal vehicle sustained damage. SPEND THE MONEY, BUILD A RETURN KIOSK AND HAVE AN ATTENDANT RECEIVING RETURING VEHICLES AND MANAGING PARKING. Will I be back? NOT A CHANCE!

EVERALD H | Overall ExperienceThe facility itself was generally well-maintained, though the access door once took several days to fix. I did see a mouse inside once though never inside my unit. There were no floods or roof leaks, or mold/mildew, so that’s positive. The line waits could be a bit long though there were always at least two people at the desk. The staff were generally polite. The big issue is that many people are self-absorbed slobs. That’s not your fault, but it makes your facility less than desirable. People standing in the middle of the parking lot staring at their phones, trucks or even cars parked to block doorway access or even getting in and out of fhe parking lot, a mess all around the dumpster and assorted objects that can puncture tires strewn all around the parking lot. There needs to be a bit of a culture change where rules for conduct are clearly signed and enforced. You won’t go bankrupt or lose any customers that are worth keeping. Some will even show their appreciation. Thanks for listening.

When I got this storage unit it was very affordable but has been increasing exponentially over the last 2-3 years. Please be more apparent on price increases with customers in the future

The fire alarm has been on low battery, doing that annoying beep the entire time of our storing stay. Heard it non stop loading in the unit, non stop moving out. My pickup location I wanted over 20 mins outside in the sun for rhe rep to open the door and assist no one was at the office. I called your customer and was given $50 off my renta and when I dropped off my renta they did not apply the $50 off but told to call customer because the rep did not put it on. The rep I think his name was Bryan...when he came in he looked half a sleep no apology made he just act like he did not care. I was very upset because I have some deadlines to meet and my while day went bad after due to getting the truco very late. The Dropbox off location was ok ....no problem

We always paid in advance or monthly, never late, but continued to get charged more. I brought this up to anyone who would listen, and nothing changed. Last month I was charged another 4 dollars. Your advertisement is false and misleading. You could have had me as customer for years.

I always expect that things will take a long time when I go to this U-Haul. I cannot be in a hurry. I came today to change my storage unit from a big one to a smaller one. Before I could start to empty, I was told by an associate to go tell the cashier to sign me out of one storage unit first. So I lined up for 10 minutes just to find out by the cashier that I could have emptied my storage unit and filled the new one and then lined up to see the cashier to complete the transaction. Too much time wasted.

They don't show you the unit until after you pay which not good. steep stairs to go to units they need to make better access for people that can't go on stairs. I have used this location in the past for moves never really had too much issues but yesterday I was pretty disappointed.

Also my original locker was locked and they didn't know why. They had to give me another locker. Also didn't realize that i had to go up stairs to get into the storage unit. It took 5 hours to unload our truck because of this. I understand it says you may have to go up a few stairs but that's extremely misleading as this is an entire flight of stairs. Also had to step down into the location which made things even more difficult to move. Also not to mention I couldn't even get close to the door, we had to park off to the side and was not able to use the ramp. Extremely disappointed in this storage location. Will never rent storage at this particular uhual location again.

I have trouble each time calling to get through to a staff member it takes so long. They are not courteous and put you on hold for a long time after answering and jot saying anything. Sometimes there were sketchy people waiting outside of the door trying to get in without a code. My storage unit would have water in it every time the snow melted - there is a leak coming in from the right side of unit by door.

I had also asked if by chance the unit for the 3rd month could be shortened to the end of the first week as the client moved everything out Aug 8. I will never get involved or book through your location again. Your staff was extremely rude to myself on 2 occasions and my client on another occassion.
