I replaced the gas to a quarter tank which is what I got it with and the receiver charged me $13 for gas when I returned it. We even had a not so friendly experience arguing where the gage was. If it’s that close it automatically should be in the customers favor to avert this from happening.

GENERAL COMMENTS: At first I was told that I would probably have to go to a different location to get the trailer. NOT what I wanted to do. I had to do that last time when the trailer they had was not road worthy and at the last minute had to drive 20 miles away. Then they upgraded me to a larger trailer. Then when I got there they had the correct trailer. No continuity it seems or lack of communications in general. Also I don't particularly like the HIDDEN COSTS associated with insurance. I bought the $35 liability package. Then was told it would be close to $60 as it is associated with the amount of days I would have the trailer. I opted for 2 extra days on top of the 3 allowed. I did not see this stipulated elsewhere when reserving the trailer so it is indeed a HIDDEN COST! So far my experiences with Uhaul have been less thatn satisfactory...

Let me start by saying that the staff is excellent...top-notch customer service and very pleasant to deal with. Not only did the reservation process go very smoothly, I also had a quick and efficient visit when I came to pick up the trailer. The only problem I encountered was with the 12x6 trailer. The locking mechanism on the sliding door was broken. The piece that allows one to secure the trailer with a padlock was snapped off. As such, we couldn't lock up the trailer the way it was designed to be locked. However, we were able to secure the trailer and its contents with a cable-type lock. The cable lock was provided by Uhaul free of charge. Also, I did request the trailer with the broken locking mechanism to be replaced as there was an identical one right next to it. Unfortunately, I was told that that particular trailer was for in-town use only. I would've graded the rental experience even higher had management accommodated my request to replace the trailer. However, I don't know why U-Haul determines one trailer cross-country worthy and an identical one not (I inspected both trailers). Sometimes, policies get in the way of what's actually best for the customer. Ironic but too frequently true.

The trucks are extremely gas consumer. If you have a newer gas efficient wil be great. Consider that miles are too expensive at least the gas wil be helpful

Install better tie offs on the truck...the 3 inch straps of cheap wood is beyond ridiculous. Instal 6 inch and double thick wood or metal brackets that you need the clips for....

When we walked in for pickup, we were ignored for a few minutes by a redheadbed guy with a small ponytail. 2 other men were in the store and he asked one of them to help us. 1 immediately walked out and the other helped. The guy with the ponytail without even looking our direction told us, sorry but this is important and walked off. Our drop off location we a business that has shut down. I called the office and explained 3 times the business was not closed. It was shut down, almost empty, and what was left was ransacked. I spent 7 minutes with a manager talking to me like I was 5 years old with no resolution and him telling me to call another number which I had called originally and had no answer. I finally hung up and went to another Uhaul store where they were extremely helpful.

I had scheduled an appointment for trailer and hitch install, however when we arrived the location said they would not be able to install for about an hour later. We had to wait about 2 and half hours after our install apt. time until it was ready to go.

Uhual service is non-existent. Penske, home depot rentals, sirreel - all other truck rentals take the pictures, take down the fuel levels, walk around the vehicle with you - uhual check out employees can't be bothered to leave their desk. Truck alignment is off. Blindspot mirror on driver side was not adequately placed.

It was an easy process . I set up the appointment online . I went the morning of and dropped off my key . I was contacted a few hours later when the job was done. U-Haul did a top notch job and I’m glad my neighbor recommended them . I will recommend them to my family and friends.

The staff is amazing and friendly. Always a clean bathroom too. Out of my 20 years in LA with several storage units all over the place. Your on-site manager Freddy has been the absolute BEST. He runs a tight ship over there. In fact, my experience at this location has been so positive I always rent trailers and trucks with UHaul. I've had that unit for years and in the beginning the lighting wasn't that good for the indoor area. Now it looks well lit. The security and code is impeccable. A lot of good security cameras too. It feels safe and that's important to me. Another weird thing, is that the store is layed out nice and I always want to buy something and I really don't need it. One negative thing is that the rodents chewed my Persian rug and my stuff kind of smells like pest spray. It comes with the turf. The rug was old. Just a little constructive criticism. Importantly, thank you for the great service and I appreciate all of you. God Bless, Michael Ryan

Manager was not helpful. Fell behind on my unit and wanted to keep but at the end after paying the balance off completely he continue to charge outrages fees for wrong dates. I asked for a complete summary and denied my request. Not helpful at all. They just wanted to clean and move us out. Email confirmations have wrong dates and one after another. I wouldn’t recommend storage units here. Ending up moving down the street elsewhere. Less headaches.

I wish we could access the storages 24/7 considering the only time I would often have to access it was after my work hours. However, the staff was amazing. GM Freddy was an amazing help getting our contract set up with moving out of our storage into U-Box containers. Matt and Danny were eager to help get my assistance with the moving done in any needs I had with moving supplies and moving U-Boxes, as well as Lily and Angela.

U-Haul of C.C. is well managed in that EVERY staff member is polite and well-informed (I'm the "ask-many-questions" type). I have 2-Units & am condensing to 1-Unit, hence this "rate my move:In" Review Request. This facility "runs a tight ship" resulting in the clean & organized appearance YET Human (very helpful) also.

There was some confusion when I first went in to see about a storage unit. The person I talked to said there was a ten foot by ten foot unit available and that if I wanted it I had to rent it then as there was no reserving. I went to get money and when I returned I was told by a different person that unit was reserved. I was put on a waiting list and was called two days later as a different unit had become available, so I did get that unit. It worked out just fine thank you.

My things were damaged and bad conditions your storage is the worst I ever rent. I should get my money back. The Dirt wasted over well and running everything..Olson I payed for muchas for the Uhaul truck.

The gentleman helping us didn’t seem to know how to check us in. I’m assuming he’s new but with how much he struggled it felt like he still needed training or someone assisting with the check in. Our unit now has a few different peoples information on it simply because my spouse and I can’t have the same address? How does that even make sense. Then when confirming what I reserved he rattled off the wrong unit. So we had to correct that. Once we got through the actual check in he handed us a map and flagged down someone to take us back to the unit. This is where I would rate the entire experience poor at best. There are random vehicles just stored everywhere. There is no clear access to our unit. What was most frustrating was due to the fact you can’t actually drive up to our unit (poor planning and layout on uhauls behalf) he didn’t mention maybe backing the trailer up so we could at least cut down some of the foot traffic. It’s frustrating because we rented a rather large unit and you physically can not drive up to the thing. Had I known how poor the layout was I wouldn’t have chosen the facility at all. Staff was ok but clearly needs training. The facility itself is a mess.

Nathan was a great help! He was able to give me the rental, show me to the storage unit and showed me all the conveniences of opening up the liftgates and the trolleys tonhelp move my stuff to my storage easier. Danny offered great customer service when renting out the truck as well, offered to help move out of the spot, checked to make sure i had my dolley, and made sure the truck rental was ready to go and safe to use!

The fact that I paid rent on the 14th and was not pro rated when I closed my account in the office is robbery. The unit is going to be re rented within days and on the website I did not see anything advising I wouldn’t be refunded for remaining time. Definitely not recommending uhaul and probably avoiding it as much as possible.

Busy busy place both on a weekday & Saturday. Above average experience because of Fairelynn who is amazing and extremely helpful and friendly given how busy the place is. Poor experience due to the Manager (not sure of his name) who was rude and condescending. I would not recommend for storage, there's just too much going on with moving vans, retail store, etc doesn't seem secure or convenient.

The Staff was great and especially the manager Freddie. I used the storage unit for over three years and Freddie lived up to all the agreements that we agreed upon the day I rented the storage space. I renting an inside temperature controlled unit. All the items remained clean, safe and in original condition. Highly Recommend!

Accessing the gate was often a challenge due to various crates/trailers/trucks etc being obstacles. In some cases this also impeded access to the building itself. The sloping ramps (loading and off-loading) were a deal-killer. I am quite relieved to not have to deal with that again

So, after booking a 26ft trailer two weeks in advance and getting cancelled three days in before a move and tight timeframe, thankfully Lorna from the Storage King location was so kind to help us out and give us some tips. I get that people extend their rental, which is what we did Saturday morning to be met with scare tactics and a severely upset employee from Canyon County location. Corporate UHaul is great with customer service but there really should be someone who does quality control checks on independent stores. They will be receiving a review from myself that will reflect the service I received.

We always use U-Haul for all our moving needs and let our family and friends know the ease of it online. I really think U-Haul has a unique advantage over all others. For the first time, we used the recommended movers.com to help us. Much to our dismay, the movers in AZ cancelled at 11:00AM. We were charged and additional $140.00 for the last minute replacement. As a company, they are not up to the same standards that U-Haul has. Even though it was their mistake, they made us pay for it. Our hands were tied since we were on a tight schedule. I hear that you are not associated with them, just thought you might want to know about our experience with the first mover group, especially since they didn’t show up, we can’t put that experience on their website I am told. We have always enjoyed U-Haul and the 26 foot truck was totally awesome, a great drive and a great deal! Thanks to U-Haul for always being there for us and the extremely fair pricing! The African-American lady was very rude anytime you try to ask her questions you get an attitude and being very rude I will never ask anybody to go rent from your place again ever if she wants people to understand you have to put the code in before you just go with the gate up and then she should have a sign there saying so clearly or they should look carefully for the word except it or something when the keypad is pushed in and I just assume you should know her job she

Federico has helped me for years. He’s one of the best and deserves recognition. Only thing I feel he can work on as a leader, is having his facility available. They never answer their phones at the canyon country location and it can be very inconvenient to get simple questions answered. Please relay this message to him and his staff.

Everything fine.....except I lost my key to my lock (that was in the unit when I rented it).....Uhaul did not have a record of the key so i could obtain a duplicate. Therefore i had to call a locksmith for $100. It will teach me to not misplace my key. It would be nice if Uhaul could always keep a duplicate of their clients keys. Everything else good.

I had reserved a van in advance. When I arrived there were six people standing in line and only one person processing arrivals. I had to stand for 35 minutes. The young man behind the desk was cheerful, but the facility was woefully understaffed during Christmas week. I also had to re-enter data that I had done in advance, online.

When I returned my rental truck to this location, the gas gauge was the same as when I rented the truck in Redding. The employee said the computer reported the gas level low and hit me with a $20 gas charge.. It is a real shame that U-Haul would, trade customer loyalty for $20, but that was you decision. Unless forced, I will not be back.

Exit gate control not ez to find -place a sign. Door codes don't alway work and must ring very busy inside staff to get in. Consider allowing a photo of empty unit instead of waiting on someone to check it out.My time is important too. Over all fine but could improve.

Since I was in need a storage unit, I had no choice but to settle for a higher priced space all because this location did not honor my reservation. We vacated our space on 7-15, month was up on 7-22,informed you we were out. Got a call 10 days later saying rent was due, after we told them they looked at the note in our file to see we were out.. They said we were good. Then on 8-1 we get an e-mail saying we are late on our rent and have a $20 late fee, so now I have to send an e-mail, because I can't get through by phone to say again we were out on 7-15. Communication sucked, don't think I would recommend you for storage.

I was unable to schedule a drop-off with these guys after 4 days of unanswered voicemails. I wound up using their Moving Help service that hires a third-party mover to deliver the U-Box.

I don't even have items in storage with this location, yet they bill me and put liens on imaginary storage units. U-HAUL IS A FRACTURED BUSINESS. By far, the worst storage experience in 57 years.
