The web tool barely worked, and neither did the app. Both refreshed their pages when they lost focus and were extremely inconsistent in general. I will never use the remote pickup again, and will only begrudgingly use the remote dropoff if I absolutely must.

[I checked "no" on referral/recommendation to a friend - I could recommend it (due to the staff/convenient location) but they could get better storage rates at other facilities]

The U-Haul storage unit we reserved was given to another customer prior to our arrival and after a full day of travel with the family and coordination made with a moving company to help offload our truck at a given time. This U-Haul location failed to deliver as promised; and was unapologetic making us feel as if this was our problem. The resolution offered by the GM (Sonni Rief) was not reasonable in meeting our expectation to use their facility for the 4-6 months we had planned at the rate/reservation by contract as we waited for our new home. We will not be recommending this site to others and will be informing our fellow military community and families the same.

Sonni went the extra mile when a moving van backed into me at a local storage facility nearby.. Mike was very difficult after I moved the first load in. Folks are living in some of the units. Drinking, partying inside the units, a neighborhood goat & other animals got inside the fencing at night; it was surprising & so funny. The 1st van i rented from Sid had been in an accident & the rear doors wouldn't open so I could not load it easily. Sonny adjusted the rental charge and safely stored my bike while I was moving out. Staff cleaning the bathrooms & facilities do an exceptional job and are very heloful & friendly too.

I was lucky enough to be helped by the retired AF veteran owner of this U-Haul upon the day of my arrival to Hurlburt Field AFB for military assignment. This place has been kept supremely clean almost like an Air Force dorm. The owner/AF veteran was so warm and friendly that I made my decision on the spot to rent at this place, no matter the cost, after making stops at three other storage establishment, each time disappointed in one way or another. Not all U-Hauls are created equal, as I found the other U-Haul across the street was dirty and the staffs were rude. This place has the utmost security for you to store your valuable goods, not only that, but also protects your belonging against all adverse weather! I arrived the day before Hurricane Sally hit Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach, but fortunately, I moved all my belongings into a second floor unit at this location. No damage whatsoever, bullet dodged! They even place mouse trap/cockroach traps in every single unit just for extra safety. Overall, I cannot think of enough good things to say about how well this place is run and how professional and caring the owners have consistently treated me, a fellow USAF service member. We will most likely use their service again in the near future. Highly highly recommend.

I had to put my entire household contents in storage for over a year while my home was being rebuilt after Hurricane Michael did extensive damage to it. I live in Panama City and the closest available storage was in Fort Walton Beach. Sunni and her staff made the move easy for me, and they were all so kind. Paying online for monthly storage was easy as well, and the move out process went so smooth. Everything was in perfect condition when I unpacked it. Never once did I fear that my storage contents were in jeopardy of being taken or damaged while they were in storage. Thank you for keeping my home goods safe and secure!
