The air condition in the truck did not work. It was extremely hot yesterday. I had to bring the truck back early due to the conditions.

My gripe is that the property is under major construction and parking is limited so you are told to park at a business that is one or two lots over. This involves walking along the side of a major street that is busy where cars are going 50-60 MPH and there are no sidewalks. I would not recommend using at this time. Once the construction is done it will be great!

KELLY CWhen I originally set my pick up appointment, it was not this location. The woman that called me to reschedule the location said I had to pick up here. I set up the pick up over a week in advance. So much for guaranteed availability at the location I chose. I’ll also add that this location was 20 mins away instead of the 5 minutes where I originally requested so I had to pay for all that additional mileage. The woman was extremely rude and basically told me it is what it is, in so many words. Site is undergoing construction. Tight conditions. Had to park my personal vehicle at the gas station 2 blocks away. I understand they’re trying to still operate during construction but that setup really needs to be rethought out.

CHRISTOPHER HI parked in the lot and went to pick up my van for a rental of less than a day, which was supposed to be an app-based pickup according to my reservation. It was parked in tight behind another van, but I saw an employee nearby who moved it. As a courtesy, I asked if there was a place I could park that would be more convenient for them. At that point she refused to continue the process until I moved my car a block away to park at another business. I pointed out that there was no safe walking path - just a muddy ditch next to cars and semis travelling at highway speeds, that there were empty spaces in the lot, and that the two employees were also parked there, but they refused. If I hadn't prepaid the rental I'd have left. It's unreasonable to ask your customers to slog through a muddy ditch next to a busy roadway when there are clearly spaces available (and which would not even have come up if I hadn't volunteered to find a more convenient option. In retrospect, and easy solution would have been to give me a ride back in the van, or to move an employee's vehicle to the two-acre lot behind the trailer if they needed an extra space, but I got nothing but flat refusal and claims that there was a "path" (there was not). Extremely frustrating experience, would never rent there again.

I shared that I was in a time crunch, and he hustled to help me solve my problem. I am specifically taking the time to complete this survey because of his efforts. My only regret is that I didn't ask for his name, because of the time issue.

Brandon CI was never told I couldn’t park on site while I rented the truck so I had to park down a busy road with no side walks at all gas station and walk back. I was also told the truck was full when I picked it up. I drove less than 50 miles and when I filled it up at the end I filled 8 gallons. I know I don’t use that much gas so I am paying for the previous person who rented it. Very disappointing experience.

PAULO RThe customer service was very nice. They stayed in touch with me. This service was professional. It worked out great for me today. Just having to move things from one facility to another. There was some pre-damage on the truck that was not marked before I took it, but I pointed out at the moment I left with a video and pictures I would’ve liked to have seen marking there to let me know I didn’t do it if I would’ve never noticed it. I was in the car business for 30 years. I did thousands of appraisals on used cars so I caught it right away, but you might wanna just let the customers know before they take it that they know that in advance. Are other than that the people were very nice. The service was great and I dropped the vehicle off in about seven hours after I took it.
CINDA RHave the rental truck closer to the office, away from the temporary construction fencing when it’s close to a scheduled pick up time. With the construction at this location backing the vehicle out right next to a construction fence exponentially increases the likelihood of hitting it. Equipment was very tightly parked.

PATRICK RHello, I am writing regarding the U-Haul van I rented today. Unfortunately, the vehicle’s heating system was not functioning properly. Despite setting the heat to the highest level, it continued to blow cold air throughout my rental period. I paid $120.00 for this rental and expected the vehicle to be in proper working condition, especially considering the cold weather. The lack of heat caused significant discomfort and inconvenience and did not meet the standard of service I anticipated. Due to this issue, I am requesting a reasonable discount or partial refund for this rental. I believe this is fair given that the equipment was not fully operational as promised. JESUS Cmessy location overall. had a 7 am pickup for a 26 ft truck. I was given the only snow and ice covered truck with no brush or scraper available. it was cold out but worker did nothing, barley came out to point out where the truck was . when I dropped the truck off no one checked the truck in just said they would email receipt. when I got the receipt the price went up by 10 dollars 49.99. I originally rented a 20 ft truck and rep called me and said they wouldn't have a 20 and would give me a 26 foot for the same quoted price 39.99. newer location very disappointing
MICHAEL SHad to wait when I turned in my truck only to be told receipt would be sent to me .Had to wait nearly 6 hours before it was sent to me .No one I spoke to was of any help .finnaly called store back with no explanation .on top of that from the start my reservation kept getting changed until it got put back to original location.no explanation from anyone .i have never experienced this type of horrible customer service ever .i will never use uhaul again unless manager or someone ‘important’can help explain this to me!!!!!!
