The mobile app does not work so you do have to go in to the counter in order to finalize the rental process.The cab of the truck reaked of cigarette smoke as if someone had just been smoking in it prior to us arriving. They did give us an air freshener but this just overwhelmed us with the mixture of smoke and cinnamon. I wish we would have requested a different truck but we didn't have the time to wait due to our schedule.

Robert HOnly complaint is drove to pick up the rental and the person didn't return it and we didn't get a call not to come but it wasn't the guy I normally work with but was able to get the truck later that day and put me back about half a day but Joe gave me a good discount so ok every thing turned out.
Tracy LThe employees were very helpful, friendly, and professional. However, my complaint is that the $19.95 rental rate ended up being $176.20! We drove a total of 107 miles and we were charged mileage for all 107 miles, not just the 7 miles over the 100-mile allowance. To reflect the true cost of the $19.95 rental, the mileage allowance fee and the additional fees should be clearly listed on the vehicles and advertising, not noted with an * and miniscule print.

They kept messing around getting stuff together, which I did appreciate, however the had me sitting in the truck, with it running for about a hour! I was there at 12:30 to pick it up and load it and I didn't pull out untill I HAD to go in and ask if I could go. I didn't get to my destination untill 8:00pm and my help thought that I wasn't coming and wasn't here to help!!! I actually had to do it myself and it was a BIG struggle. I didn't get done untill 2:30am ad had to work on Monday!!!

When we got there we found out they did not have our truck and they reserve it for the wrong day.! The guy at the register mean he was ignorant he didn’t care he was so nasty. He didn’t give a crap. No one had our size of truck anywhere near close. He was trying to get us to take a 20 foot and told us to go to the other U-Haul and storage on sellers Drive in Altoona . He was so ignorant and nasty. I will never ever go there again ever I will tell my friends about how ignorant and nasty he was how he screwed up.! we go to the one on Sellers Drive in Altoona Pennsylvania. They stated they had two trucks our size that we reserved. They didn’t care that the other guy was nasty. They just basically shoot us out the door they handed us piece of paper I went to go walk to a truck in front of the building. The lady handed me the keys and said it’s around the side, there were six trucks on the side. I had to go through four trucks to find out which one was mine by trying to start them all. She did not go over the mileage sitting over the gas nothing it was a quarter of a tank of gas we got the truck took it from Altoona PA to Johnstown Pennsylvania put $25 in gas in. It went to downtown Johnstown where we got the storage unit and return the truck when we got there. That lady was very very very friendly. Very nice when checking the truck in we was told we had it for two days we were told they had over I had a half a tank of gas and we drove it 180 miles! We had the truck for four hours not two days received receipt of the gas with a 25 minute put it back to where we got it from. We were so much charge for two days of a rental because Altoona never truck checked. The truck in that we got they also had four bags of the packaging blankets in it. The girl in Georgetown was very nice very friendly helped us out called the boss. Hopefully we get charged correctly. If we won’t know till it comes out of our bank statement. My name is Jacqueline Anderson 814-243-8646 is my phone number, Sandra Shirley, 8143222807 is my mom the one that paid for the truck very very very disappointed in U-Haul. It was the most I’m sad that experience we’ve ever had sure we’re going to be charged for having it for two days plus the gas plus the blankets, it was never ordered ignorance , both stores in Altoona Pennsylvania was disgusting. We would like a phone call to know that you did read this and something is being taken care of because we do have to get another U-Haul ticket or stuff out of storage when I move into my apartment and we want to make sure this never happens again please phone call would be appreciative The girl in Johnstown, Pennsylvania was the only store that was nice to us understanding carrying compassionate, and understood please a phone call would be very nice

Instead I received nothing and my person of contact was notified that my locket was past due on rent before I was. That's poor business etiquette. Either remind your customers like you say they will be or reach out to them first to obtain payment. I made my locker payment the next day do there was no need to make it an issue as it became one.

I reserved a second floor unit assuming there was an elevator and I was wrong, but it should be listed clearly that there is no elevator before you reserve it. There is also no garbage can or dumpster available, we had to take our trash with us.
