Pick up location seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing, half assing everything and we got a trailer with missing pieces that were important for holding the car in place, and a broken strap that goes over the tire to hold the car in place. had to call road side assistance and waited couple hours to get new a strap (road side assistance was a life saver) ended up delaying our trip a good amount. after we got new strap we had to stop multiple times during our 14 hour drive because the straps would come loose and fall off the car tires. don’t know if the cranks to the straps are breaking or old but never had issues with them coming lose and off the tires in past moves.

I put the hospital papers because I was in the hospital 2 days after I got to Nacogdoches TX. My daughter couldn't get it to the main office because it was to far of a walk. Thank you.. And I really hope that you understand that I was not able to get it there when I could. I'm on a very fixed income and I don't have money for anything right now. I'm homeless right now

It’s a terrible location to move equipment as the lot is both small and completely filled. Both the employees were very helpful despite me having to make near a 12 point turn to back up a trailer with a short bed truck

This morning, I drove a 132 mile round trip for the hitch and wiring installation on my 2004 Buick. I made the reservation in mid-March and this was the nearest (to NW Burnet County) trailer hitch installing U-Haul store to me. I arrived early for my 10:30am appointment and my car was on the lift by 9:40. The installer came out and said he could not do the electrical wiring (for the trailer connection) as he "was not trained for that". At 11:35a.m. he had struggled through the installation. Two hours. I checked underneath later and it appears to have been done all right. At 88 years of age, I have in the past done hitch installations on my own vehicles but am too old and have no hoist for the vehicle now. So, I a left with a hitch but no trailer wiring done.. I may be able to do that myself, but I contracted with U-Haul to do that and you accepted the contract for a shop that had no one on duty on my service date who knew how to do the wiring. I could never recommend U-Haul after this fiasco.

The website quoted us a 24hr rate with a utility dolly and a furniture dolly at $80.. we get there and we’re charged $188 and never received the furniture dolly.

It would be nice if the process of the contract was explained. Also, the truck was not full, not half full, but a 1/4 of a tank. I didn't feel that not having a decent amount of gas was worth me paying almost $60 for. It felt like a kick to the money.

I have had multiple experiences with u-haul one even being amazing last week but this location horrible was an understatement! Unprepared no sense of urgency and a lack of care and consideration overall. I would never use this location ever again and the lines are ridiculous even if you book your reservation a week out and come early you won’t get your equipment for 45 minutes to an hour and trying to get effective communication is nonexistent. Just use another u-haul.

Employee was on her personal phone using wireless earbuds the entire time during my visit to pick up my reservation. It was difficult to ask questions and confirm my reservation when she was talking to someone else and didn’t show any hospitality. I would rather visit a different location next time

Where the sign said to pull into for drop off was barely large enough once you pulled in from a busy road. The next morning about 8 am I was woke up by a woman who immediately told me that the truck wasn't clean enough, I asked her what she was even talking about and she started laughing saying I took the picture "oh yes you did, yes you did, you took the picture, we charging you $25, yes you did, you took the picture" I again asked what she was talking about. She was giggling and laughing through the whole thing so I eventually just hung up. Very unprofessional. Will not be dealing with u-haul again. Very unprofessional service, bait and switch on the front end and petty stupidity on the back end. Faulty equipment in between.

Truck windows weren’t cleaned had to clean them inside and out previously rented to a person with a dog that left nose prints and slobber on glass / truck was not what i rented but it did the job staff was friendly even though i felt they needed another person attendant looked worn down truck was tired flat spots on tires and gutless especially when I had less than 1000 lbs in cargo area

I drove the U-Haul in town a total of 25 miles. I stopped and put $10 of gas back into the truck. When I got my receipt back they charged me an additional 6 gallons of fuel. So basically 10 gallons of fuel that I paid for to drive 25 miles. That doesn’t make any since . My fully loaded semi gets 9mpg so I don’t understand that charge I honestly think I got scammed

The first truck I got was on E when I received it and I told the manager she told me to take a picture then get gas . I drove it across the street and it ran out of gas the gas station pumps where out I had to get a gas can and get gas to put in it to get to a gas station . I then found out there was a hole in the gas tank on the truck I had to wait a hour and half to even get road side assistance come

My overall experience was alright. I had went to 2 other locations before this one and was unable to get a rental due to poor customer service & not having the equipment stated online. The final location I arrived too was very helpful and had great customer service. When I dropped my rental off and I was told I would be getting charged $7 a day for the dolly that I was not made aware of and I got charged an additional day for dropping the rental off an hour after the "scheduled drop off time." These are things customers should be made aware of. Otherwise, I had a great experience like always.

The store is clean and organized. The lady at counter was wonderful. The vehicle itself was terrible. We wrre given a vehicle that had check engine light and it shut itself off at a few stop lights. When we were moving our stuff the vehicle violently shook and AC ran hot. We return it immediately. No dependable.

Who ever they had working the office was extremely rude and shouldn’t be employed there. I had asked multiple times to buy boxes and she kept staring at me and would just say “oh uhm let me go do something else” and left me there multiple times. She was extremely unprofessional. I had asked for a broom and dust pan because there was broken glass they gave me a broom and that was it. Was I supposed to pick it up with my hands ? I drove 1000 miles to get my things and a lot was broken. I will never use this place again

The reason I gave average is because there have been more than one occasion where I went to my storage and there was a truck and trailer in front of my storage and I would have to go inside to ask someone to kindly move it because it was blocking me from my storage.

Very friendly staff members, they were incredibly helpful. The actual storage unit was sorely lacking and needs maintenance asap. Some of my problems at this location was the door and lock latch didn’t line up. So I had to push-up on the door in a weird way. It was incredibly difficult. The actual storage building was well mopped/ swept, however, there needs to be an exterminator called to this location. The amount of roaches I saw in my unit after only storing a few furniture items left me feeling physically ill.

They emptied my storage and got rid of all my belongings without any warning to me, I was only one month late on payment, only owed 100 dollars, and they had just sent me a new bill a day before. Hours to come pick stuff out of my storage was inconvenient. Work from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm so no time to move stuff unless on weekends. Couldn’t access my storage like I thought it would. Advertising said 24/7, yes but only to keep it in one place and not to access it 24/7.

Staff yesterday when I picked up U-Haul and did my strange contract was great! But this morning the older lady was super rude and even threw my strange access key in the trash after I asked if I can get a secondary on stated she couldn’t create another so just chucked it in the trash then said you can use the key card number to access it then had to dig my key out the trash again and gave it to me

U-Haul website needs to reflect the actual facility access hours. It closes at the same time as the office and cannot be entered after business hours. Extremely inconvenient if a customer needs access after coming over from work or while moving. Had we known this, we would have used a different facility and saved critical funds.

The truck rental experience was awesum but STORAGE ummm I only had stuff in 1 month and 2 days could not even get any money back for the rest of month but whatever sooo got things out and home had ROACHES coming out of my stuff never had any BUGS I should of known when I killed a ROACH in the hallway So maybe since there was no refund given you guys should use that for PEST CONTROL

Pd 882.00 one way was kinda hoping to get some money back but didn't but did get a month free of storage and my only concern with that is I got a small one that was on top but wanted one on floor level but had no choice to take top my concern is safety it was very difficult to climb up that ladder with no safety features and could of fallen also seen roaches climbing on outside of wall you guys may want to call pest control but other than that I mean I got here so thanks

Due to covid we have to wear masks. The staff was not wearing a mask. And they were eating... I brought it to their attention about the masks being necessary and they said " oh yea but" and continued eating.. Some 4 more customers came in without masks and they didnt tell them anything. I ecpressed how i had lost 2 family members of covid and 23 friends and maks were necessaty and they laughed it off... I stayed and used it only because i was already there and it was a convenient location.. You need to speak to them.. Thank you

Both the Manager and her Assistant were extremely helpful, professional and kind. The store was completely filled with customers returning and picking up their rentals, yet the employees maintained a very professional demeanor. They also kept in contact with the customers waiting in line, offering faster checkouts for those just dropping items off. We had a very good experience.

In "97 it was dirty and run down. Reached out to corporate / regional office ( Nicole 512-865-4153) and never received an answer about concerns. Paying $106 for 8X8 is ridiculous.. Mgr not honest.

I clearly told the representative I needed a storage unit. She chose a storage locker. Yes, a locker. It was so strenous loading tuff boxes onto a ladder into a locker. We rented for 39 minutes! Sad!
