I was a little upset about how we were handled once it was time to drop off the truck. We were told that we could drop off at any location. When we arrived to the West Stan shulueter location, the lady did not display the best customer service. She did not apologize for the misunderstanding she brushed us off in a very unprofessional way. The lady was a black heavy set lady and that told us she didn't have space. She proceeded to say â€œ I don't know what to tell you, if I can't take it I can't take it.â€ She came out the door without empathy when she saw us. Uhaul as a company was not bad but her approach to the situation made me never want to use Uhaul again. Empathy and apologizing for the company's mistakes makes a huge difference.TIERRA H.

the problem was not at the local offices but the 800# reversation system. I reserved a 26' truck and auto dolly which I was told would work with my vehicle. the pickup location was 1/2mi from house but the day before I was to pick up got a call stating I would have to drive 40 mi to killeen to pick up truck and after 4-5 hours on phone finally got the correct car transport but was being charged double, on the day of pick up spent another hour on the phone to get the price fixed as they made 2 separate contracts causing the price to double. this has been the worst experience I have encountered and thru work we rent Penske trucks and never have any issues to the point if I need to move in the future I would pay the extra to have a great rental experience. the clerks at the locations were great and tried to help.Richard R.
The trailer I rented had a flat tire on the right rear tire of the trailer. This was not noticeable on the day the trailer was picked up until a load was placed on the trailer.JOHN M.
Employees are not only, not helpful, but not attentive. I walked into the store and waited at the counter for probably 20 min so I could pick up a vehicle I had reserved online. The vehicle was not prepared. While I was waiting an employee stacked boxes right behind me. Didn't bother to say a word to me, or go find someone to help me. Assuming the reason she didn't being she wasn't able to conduct orders? The employee that helped me seemed to not know what he was doing, but he could have been new. The girl who was stacking boxes came and helped him out. But even she didn't seem to know. Seemed as though the work environment is not great because the gentleman who helped me was clearly having a bad day. Seems like UHAUL isn't taking time to train employees or take care of themCHASE T.

Gas tank was at 1/4 of a tank. Told them and was told if I didn't bring it back with half a tank I'd be charged. Only drove 15 miles, paid for more gas than I needed to. They didn't seem to care.Michael H.

The employees took 45min to get my equipment on my pickup. They also charged my card 3x's for 1 transactions and has yet to correct it. The manager I spoke with was very rude and seemed more concerned with her child then customers service. Very unprofessional.JOSEPH L.

I was contacted yesterday with the claim that I hadn't turned the truck in. I returned it the same day. I turned the truck in with the odometer ending in 52. I was charged for it ending in 67. The transmission on the truck is going out. Could hardly get it to change gear.Jaya G.
I waited for almost 2 hours to get a truck, not in line, but at the counter. I was in the process of moving and they call me telling me that they messed up the system. I had the contract in my hands, money was taken from my account. I went back to avoid any bullshit. They tried to charge me twice because they duplicated the reservation and forgot. After waiting another hour or so the manager greeted me and said "don't worry, I'll take care of you". She did not, she promptly left. The mechanic from the back came up and fixed it in two minutes. The truck had no gas in it so I had to fill it up. I drove it 58 miles making 1 stop for a water. Upon arrival, the trucks miles were recorded wrong, and I had to pay for 200 miles. Even with proof of a map, they refused to work with me. I don't want a handout, but I had already been almost charged twice initially. Now, I have to pay almost 3x the miles I actually used, filling the truck up with gas. Twice. This was an awful experience. For what I paid, I could have bought a box truck from CL. I treated the employees with respect and did not raise my voice, but I'm out almost $200 over what I should have paid. I'm so relieved that I'll never have to use the Veterans Memorial u-haul again.ADAM F.
