CHRISTOPHER GI was booked for one location with a lot of time in advance, and had to pick up a truck from more than 26 miles away from the original location. And when I had to do this, the representatives were not kind nor understanding about my frustrations. I will never use UHaul again.
TIMOTHY KI think that a $15 charge to clean the smallest trailer on the lot without seeing if it was dirty isn't something that should be on the bill immediately. The trailer was in exactly the same condition as when I picked it up.

GLENN MWhen I picked up my trailer, staff was professional but when I dropped it off at 530, I pulled into the drop off section, waited abt 5 or 6 minutes for someone to come out to unhook it, i unhooked it myself and had to walk inside to make sure I was good to go.The one employee had his feet up on a chair eating a popsicle and the other had his head laying on the counter. Not a good look
ROBERT WThe overall rental experience was ok, I have used this location several times. I did have issues with the trailer , i have rented the 6x12 several times for the same trip and this trailer did not tow straight and caused me to use more fuel and take longer to make the trip. As i mentioned this is probably the 3rd time this year i have done this trip and have been towing trailers for 40+ years. I checked the bearings, brakes tires and hubs to make sure i get it back safely.
JOHN BThe Utility trailer I was seeking to use and rent, was not available when I needed it, and had to seek out another U-Haul location further away. Perhaps, if these utility trailers are in high demand, more should be available to customers.

TEOMARA IThe storage unit number 135 roof leaked and ruined half of my stuff the management there did not seem to care whatsoever I was going by the name of U-Haul thinking it was a reputable place. My storage fee went up twice in one year. I had to move all my belongings to another secure dry place and when I spoke to the management, they said there’s nothing they can do.

BREYANNA COnly slight issue with this rental was that we had to use a different card than we preferred. We tried using a debit card with a VISA emblem, but were told that we couldn't use it because it said "DEBIT" on the card. It had a Visa logo and should have been fine. We used a different card that also had the word DEBIT on it, but I held my thumb over the word when showing it to the associate. Of course the card worked with no issues. There is probably a training opportunity here. No other issues with the rental at all. Thanks!

GREGORY KThe vehicle's alignment was horrible. The front driver side wheel was tilted in causing some steering issues. If you are not familiar with driving a larger vehicle with these problems I would not recommend.

NICHOLAS SThe original reservation was for the Sharonville store. They did not have the correct trailer even though the corporate office confirmed the reservation. In the end, I was able to keep my appointment. However, in order to return the trailer to the Colerain store caused me about an extra hour of travel time. With that said, I am impressed by the U-Haul system. Even though the system said there was an appropriate trailer at Sharonville and there wasn't, the people at Sharonville QUICKLY found me the proper trailer and Colerain was very friendly and helpful.

COREY PCustomer care was terrible. Man spoke so fast you couldn't understand what he was saying. When asked to repeat....he got a bad attitude and shouted the information back. Then upon returning the truck they were playing cards and didn't want to get up to wait on us. We stood there for several minutes waiting for a reciept before they spoke to us to let us know the computer wasn't working correctly.
KAREN FNot much. All went well in the reservations, pick - up (first trailer had bad door, replaced it), drop off and the travel. Will be back for the next time I need one. It is very close to my house.

GEORGE AAs soon as I walked in to retrieve my rental I was told I could not park in a spot meant for a rental truck. If I did, I could be towed. There were no guest spots left until someone who completed their rental left. There was no mention of this in any of the online pre-rental questions. Would have been very helpful. The young woman checking me in could not have been more rude about the situation. This will be my last rental at this location.

Nickey PWas quoted $120 but final charge came out to $240. Self Service pick up required me to go talk to an employee, which is the opposite of self service. Two employees took over the return process, even though I selected to do Self Service and was actively doing it on my phone. Not worth the money.
Rebekah OThe brakes on the 1st truck were squealing very bad as soon as we pulled out so we turned around and came right back in and they gave us another truck. They should have known that. I've never had a bad experience with them.

ALONZO MI had booked a furniture, dolly as well as furniture pads, both of which were not available for me when I came to pick up the truck. There was a huge problem with a woman’s reservation two people ahead of me so I got my truck late. Someone else had a problem that their truck wouldn’t start and they needed a fuse replaced it just didn’t seem very organized.
ZACHARY DI was charged for fuel even though I filled it back up prior to return. Thankfully customer service was great and refunded but was an annoying extra phone call that shouldn’t have been necessary.

Go read the other reviews…it will tell you everything you need to know. Even her own workers don’t want to work for her. Stay far away from this place. Once I was shown a unit to see, I had to stand in water to see 2 different units. Additionally, the 3 units I looked at had traps for pests. This was a very difficult experience. We ended up going with a different storage company.

FELICIA S | First ImpressionsI rented a truck from Michigan to Colerain location in the Cincinnati area, which allowed me 1 month free of a storage unit.. when I got to the location the young girl working the front desk didn’t want to give it to us although we had a contract for it.. several calls were made by my wife and I, until she finally got in touch with the President of the Cincinnati region. He overrode the front desk clerk and demanded that our contract be honored.. she was upset and ask that He (President) call her on her personal phone.. He responded “NO.I want to make this quick” ..The lock that was given for my unit was a faulty lock and wouldn’t allow me in at 9pm (2 wks later)after driving 3 hrs to get there.. after calling I was told that I was wrong and that the lock should open.. no one came and it was a wasted trip.. they did have to cut the lock off due to it being a faulty lock as I had told them..I told them it didn’t seem like the same key and that it seemed to have been changed but that I needed it cut off.. they refused to do it that evening but did do it later.. I was just a complete mess.. my family and I have rented truck, trailers, as well as storage units for over 30+years and over 20 different moves.. (this location) Not only would iNOT recommend but I would advise against using then.. I hope this saves someone from the hassle and hundreds of dollars I wasted dealing with them. I actually came back to empty the unit 2 weeks early so that no other problems could arise..

I was a tenant of the Colerain facility for about a month and they decided they wanted to raise my rent. If you would’ve kept my rent where it was for at least a year, you got a whole year of rent out of me but because you raise it, I moved out as fast as I could. Thank you. I’ll never use U-Haul again!!!!!!

Very frustrating experience each time we visited… facilities were clean and well maintained.

Sadly, promised satisfaction was not close to being MET. We had to switch our hours and got a smaller truck than we were promised. THIS MADE AN INCONVIENCE ON ALL OF US. WE HAD TO EVEN PAY EXTRA THAN WE WERE SUPPOSE TO BECAUSE OF THE INCONVENIENCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THE COLERAIN LOCATION. VERY DISGUSTED WITH OUR TIME SPENT WITH THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR SO CALLED COMPANY.
