I was impressed with the way we were treated and even more so when our movers left before finishing the job. We had to call and ask to keep the truck another night. You were so kind and agreeable. I really appreciated the way you instantly agreed without a problem. Thank you.

The over all rating is unfair, everything was good except the check in process which was poor. Most of that was your computer problem, not the location. From the parking lot check in to the counter my rental cost doubled. It gave you the best rate not me. It changed my contracted agreed price by 3X on the daily rate. I can do the math off the original contract, By the time it all was finished I paid more than the contract I and you agreed to. If I owed you money it would not be just close enough without paying the difference...... Why should I have to pay more than I owe no matter how much it is? Phone customer service was right and I was wrong. She does not have any business in customer service. She kept explaining what was charged. I said that is NOT what I signed a rental agreement to and was more. The manager finagled the numbers to get it close to what I owed. but more than I owed. It is not that it was a lot of money but the attitude is eh close enough. I called to inform there is a serious glitch in your computer system. I had to harp on that to get the Woman on the phone to admit there was a problem. This was seemed like 10 minutes to get there. No I am sorry for your problem what do we need to do to make it good not a bad experience. Finally I said just forget it, I am sorry I even called. We a re good loyal customers that respect your vehicles and even bring them back cleaner than when picked up. I wasn't even pissed off until the toll free customer service call that took 5 minutes repeating to go here before someone that could not have cared less finally answered. The Manager of the location did what he could. The rating should not count against his location when it was your computers and customer service that needs help. Don't dink the location, dink yourselves. Customer service phone needs a retrain. Anyway enough annoying ranting, If anyone reads this thank you for letting me vent but FIX your computers.

I used a trailer to move a car. Maybe add some stops to the back on the ramps. Just for a piece of mind and a little safety feature to stop the car from rolling off if the other straps should fail.

The only disappointment I have is you don't offer a military discount. I would have gone with budget as they offer the discount but my first contact to them with questions wasn't so pleasing as it was with you. So, even without discount I went with your company because of the my first experience with the person on the phone. Please add the military discount to your services. get some extra help. I guess staffing shortage affects everyone. The guys there were great. always nice and helpful. The manager seems to be burned out and not happy to be there. I have been in a lot lately. I would definitely recommend this u haul to anyone. over all a good experience.

Ryan Church, at the Northgate Cincinnati, OH location, was the man I dealt with and he was awesome!! Most of this country has forgotten what customer service is really like, but he hasn't. I had made my U-Haul reservation 2 weeks prior and had called to change it several times, including the day I picked it up. Mine wasn't a simple move and by the time I finished I had driven 230 miles, the exact amount of miles I was given. I ended up paying less than I expected, got more than I asked for, and it was exactly what I needed. I praise God for helping me with this and ask that He bless Ryan and his business!

When signing my agreement, I signed for an appliance dolly and I signed a contract stating that the truck was on FULL with 172,000+ miles on it. The mileage was incorrect. It had 134,000+ on it and the tank was on 1/2 not full. I was able to get that initialed by a representative stating the correct information. There was no appliance dolly in the truck, even though I paid for one and I couldn't call to get one because it was after hours when we moved and they were closed. Therefore, that made my move even more difficult. The customer service representative that checked the truck in upon return, his attitude was beyond horrible for no apparent reason. He was an older man but very sarcastic and mean. He wouldn't even wait on me to complete my contract. Also, I wasn't informed that I would be double billed. I was told that the only thing I would be charged in addition to the pending charge of $65.12 would be my mileage. When I returned the truck I was charged $64.66 and the $65.12 was still pending. I wasn't expecting that and ended up being late on my rent because I was waiting on a pending charge to be released. I wonder what would've happened if I didn't have any more funds available, since they failed to reveal that part of the process to me. Overall my experience and service received was horrible, your staff should be given a training on providing Great customer service and thoroughly checking their work as well as Co-workers, because obviously they aren't doing things the correct way.

The location was fine. The worker John was excellent spoke professionally, but the supervisor that came in Friday, August 25, 2017 that morning needs to work on speaking with customers in a professional tone. His tone was dry; although, it was early in the morning he needs to not let the customer know he did not want to get up and come to work by his body language.
