I was overcharged. My unit was supposed to be a promotion deal for a 1$. When I got there and looked the door couldn't be locked so they moved my unit to another unit. An charged me full price for my first month even though it was the first day after i got there.i rented another truck while there charged 70$ my receipt said 63$. I should have the unit and access to it! My bank says it was taken out so why did I have to move or pay again

I found another storage place within 4 miles of uhaul that charges $100 less for an 8x10. My unit was a 10x10. Also everything I had in my unit that was wooden ended up having mold on it. It wasn't on these pieces before they were put in there.

CRYSTAL M | Overall ExperienceOnly issue I had was the new policy of only 8 hours truck rental for the same price. That is inconvenient on so many levels. It should be posted, advertised, and / or advised in advance before coming to that location. I was not able to fully move and now have to pay again and pay movers again. I will have to look for a different company to rent a moving truck from now. And I have been a U-Haul truck rental customer for over 37 years. Very sorry to hear of this policy change.
