Leslie MThe guys running this site in Salem MA are the best customer focused UHaul employees I've ever experienced. One has been there a few years and the other was the general manager I think. The place is clean and organized well, and I was in and out during check-in and check-out within minutes. They are very conscientious about attending to customers first. Bravo to these two guys.

BESIM JHonestly there's no real need for improvements they're amazing at this Salem location -- I frequently go out of my way to go to this location because of how awesome everyone is. Especially with how patient and understanding they are with me - on top of that they're absolutely amazing at going above and beyond for everyone with them.

Morgan DMake sure the gas tank is actually full. The gauge read full, but I drove the cargo van a total of 12.7 miles and had to refill the tank with 2.7 gallons of gas!
JOE VLouis, Jonah and Anthony do an excellent job running Salem, MA U-Haul.. They represent the best help that I have ever experienced at any U-Haul facility!

WALESKA M | First ImpressionsWe had to move during "h*** week"—on the dreaded August 31/September 1 days in Boston. Anthony Gambale personally made our difficult and stressful move much easier, while every single member of the staff was professional, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. Every detail, even the ones we missed (like requesting overnight storage) was handled with cheer; we were given the option of larger truck for move-in-day, which was radically better for our needs. Even when we brought the truck back just-before-deadline on move-out day, and offered to unload in minutes in front of the storage building, they said not to worry about it, but if they needed the truck that quickly, they would tell us. It was near closing, and they even provided a few minutes of labor to speed the second-floor storage unit loading up. This was DisneyWorld level customer service. We were impressed.

Uhaul is a big company, but they make that branch feel like a local neighborhood rental and storage place. Just great service. 10/10. Thanks for everything!

Anything heavy would be like impossible to to leave here so unless I get a bottom unit, I’m gonna have to pull out before the month is out even though it’s been free and find a place where I can at least put heavy stuff in, otherwise I love this U-Haul place. I’ve been using it for well over 20 years not for storage but for trucks and supplies it’s better than it ever ever was. It’s super top-notch, modern and friendly as ever can be the people and helpful.

Max is definitely ready for his assistant management position and went above and beyond to help me get my storage unit set and truck returned. Anthony’s leadership and poise were critical at drop off and he has been very helpful resolving discrepancies with the New York pick up location. Make sure you hold on to these guys.

The storage unit door does not have the U-Haul logo and painted number as the rest of them do, so it seemed like maybe I got the trash pick. This unit was the last one of its size and fits all of our storage needs, so we make it work.
