Everything about this location was OK however the customer service in combination with your policies made it poor. The customer representative at this location was impatient with older folks not accustomed to using their smartphones. He even exclaimed "no smartphone, no truck." Really? because years ago you could get a truck without a smartphone. You offer less service now than you used to. What happened? Same with your requirement for an alternate number. The rep exclaimed " no alternate number, no truck!" Not a very friendly helpful attitude. At least you don't force people to call the number at 7am anymore, that's an improvement. AT THE END OF THE DAY IT STILL TAKES JUST AS LONG TO GET A TRUCK EXCEPT YOU MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS DO THE WORK WHILE THE REPS YELL AT YOU FOR NOT LIKING YOUR NEW POLICIES. PATHETIC.

When I filled the truck to return it after hours, it was apparent that the truck was not close to full when I took it. My guess is the difference was 3 or 4 gallons. The staff has been very helpful and I think was acting in good faith. But it was an unhappy glitch in what otherwise was a very good process.

John LRude customer service at the counter and not knowledgeable with policy. I was stopped by a police officer because the uhaul workers at the White Plains did not properly inspect the vehicle. Police gave me a warning for non functioning brake lights. The experience was poor and unacceptable. Moreover when I returned the vehicle and reported the incident the customer rep did not believe me. Also, I overheard one rep saying that there was no issue to which I alerted another representative. Please conduct a spot check of the White Plains facility. The lack of professionalism and work ethics is a poor representation of UHaul.

Dana KI have used this location numerous times throughout the years. The long time manager had left and my last experience was poor at best mainly to the personnel. This has since changed and the employees were helpful and without attitude. I am in a service business and realize not everyone is having a good day but when you deal with the public you have to put that aside. I was happy to see the staff was back to how I remembered it, helpful and fast. The vehicles were spotless and new. Even the employees outside the office and in the yard showed pride in their job. Good to see

packy mOverall experience in having a trailer hitch installed was excellent. Very easy to schedule on the local UHaul website. Immediately got emails confirming my appointment and how to prep the car for installation. I got a call to get my appointment moved up 2 days which worked well. When I got there, check-in was a breeze. All costs were very well explained & completely reasonable - I had priced other installers. It took the shop only 1-1/2 hr to complete. The tech was excellent and the finished product is fantastic and solid. I have had 3 previous cars have trailer hitches installed by UHaul in another state and have been very satisfied with the work. The service I received from this site has been the best thus far. I rate them 5/5 stars!

David WAfter going to 2 locations this location helped a lot. Only hiccup is that the Dollies and pads I requested were not in the trailer. I’m not sure if I paid for them but it was a challenge to handle the move without them.

And when I returned to drop off my rental, Leo was there to greet me with a smile and help me with the check-in process. Even when I had a little gas-related issue, both Leo and Anny were super-patient and answered all my questions with ease. I'm so impressed with their service that I can't wait to go back and rent from them again!

Patrick OA terrible experience today, I rented a van from 9 am and returned it at 11 am today, and I left some work tools forgotten in the back, and 3 hours later I returned to look for them and they did not appear , the employee who received my van was no longer there and the manager did not find my tools, it is not the first time that I forget something, but if the first time they do not appear, I advise you to carry out an investigation into the case

Initially, when I rented a storage space at the North White Plains Storage Facility, the staff was friendly and helpful. About six months ago, I originally went to rent a moving truck after I engaged in a conversation with a very polite employee, which convinced me to not only use their moving service but also rent a storage space without exploring other options. I valued the personal connection with an enthusiastic employee over considering alternative storage facilities. However, my positive perception took a hit when, not even six months later, I received a call from a male employee claiming I hadn't made the payment for October, two days after the scheduled auto-charge. To my surprise, I was informed of a penalty for the payment delay. When I explained that I was on autopayment and unaware of any issues, the employee insisted that I had been removed from the autopayment plan. After insisting to tell me what card they have on the system he provided the last four digits of a card I never owned, despite being charged every month. During this frustrating conversation, another employee, Miss Martinez, made the situation worse by using inappropriate language and adopting an aggressive tone. When I mentioned my busy schedule and the difficulty of managing numerous subscriptions, she retorted angrily, stating, "this is your bill, you are responsible for paying your bills." After a 30-minute argument, during which I asserted that they needed me more than I needed them, their tone suddenly shifted from rude and arrogant to soft and caring, offering to enroll me in autopayment again. Post-call, I conducted some research and discovered a storage facility just one mile from my apartment, offering a cleaner environment with elevator access, all at half the price of the U-Haul location. My advice to U-Haul is to invest in good employees, as the quality of customer service greatly influences customer satisfaction.

It was necessary when I lived in Manhattan, useful when I lived in North White Plains, but it's become redundant since moving to a home in Putnam County. When the day came and I showed up at the unit, they said they don't participate in those promotions and refused to honor the price on my email confirmation. They said they'd been sold out of unit but of course then happened to have a last minute opening they could give me...at almost double the price. I had a full truck after a very long drive and so I took it. Extremely poor experience overpaying for a unit Uhaul would not honor.

My only comment about the facility itself was I wish it had more climate control. There is another self-storage location about a 7 min walk from this U-Haul but I had a bad experience with them before they changed hands. Part of the bad experience may still have a unit there so I am not comfortable using them which Is why I'm using this U-Haul location.
