At a loss, arrived to pick up the rental truck to be greeted by a snippy young girl. Barked for my wife to turn off her 4 ways in the parking lot since it "wasn't a roadway". Eventually things became heated as she constantly snipped, eventually telling me she would "throw me the fuck out of her store in about two seconds". Holding the truck back so I was missing my small window to move my furniture. Never again, I have brought this to the attention of my family, friends, Lititz VFW personnel, Ephrata American Legion personnel, Manheim Township football and baseball organization personnel, Lancaster County Elections committee personnel. That's where I am currently at, since I an traveling with spotty internet. I would absolutely have fired her on the spot...This is the East Petersburg, PA location.

Nathan GThe gentleman on duty was very kind and responsive, especially since he was the only one on and it was a busy morning. I really appreciated his help.
Crystal MExhaust leak and the truck inside smelled like gas fumes got my family sick from the smell. Truck didn’t run good from this exhaust leak.
Eric TIt was fine
Vicki MOnly issue i had was the truck wreaked of cigarette smell, the truck ran great and i had no issues.
KEITH CI rented a 15-foot box truck and an auto-transport trailer to move a 2003 Mercedes-Benz E500 with collapsed rear air-suspension bags. Loading and unloading the vehicle was not easy. For anyone transporting a vehicle with very low or collapsed suspension, I would not recommend renting this equipment unless you are mechanically inclined and comfortable working with equipment such as wooden blocking, a hydraulic floor jack, and basic hand tools, including a 14 mm wrench and 14 mm socket with a 3/8-inch ratchet. There were three significant problems I encountered: 1. Front clearance at the trailer wheel stops. If the front suspension is collapsed or unusually low, the front bumper may not clear the aluminum wheel stops at the front of the trailer without damaging the vehicle. One possible workaround is to use four short pieces of 2" × 4" × 12" lumber, placing two side-by-side before each front tire so the tires ride up onto the blocks and raise the front of the vehicle enough to clear the stops. Fortunately, my E500 still had functioning front air suspension, so I did not encounter this problem. A better trailer design might use front wheel stops that can be temporarily lowered during loading and then raised back into position before the tires once the vehicle is properly situated. 2. The loading angle was too steep for the collapsed rear suspension. Because the rear air bags were completely deflated, the angle where the loading ramps met the trailer caused the vehicle to bottom out at the rear bumper. I worked around this by placing four 4" × 4" × 4' pieces of lumber beneath the ramps, two under each ramp. I initially drove the vehicle only up onto the ramps because continuing would have caused it to bottom out at the ramp-to-trailer transition. I then used a hydraulic floor jack to raise each ramp individually and doubled the supporting lumber, giving the ramps approximately eight inches of additional height. This substantially reduced the loading angle and allowed the vehicle to continue onto the trailer. 3. The driver's door could not open once the vehicle was loaded. Although the trailer's outer fender folds down, the remaining inner fender structure was still too high for the driver's door of the Mercedes to clear. Since I could not climb out through the window, I had to back the vehicle onto the ramps again so I could exit. I noticed evidence that previous renters may also have removed this inner section. Fortunately, I had tools with me. Using a 14 mm wrench and a 14 mm socket with a 3/8-inch ratchet, I removed the inner fender section, finished loading the vehicle, reinstalled the section, and then completed the tie-down procedure as instructed. My recommendation would be for U-Haul to consider redesigning the front aluminum wheel stops so they can be lowered temporarily during loading. I would also strongly recommend advising customers transporting low-clearance or collapsed-suspension vehicles that renting maybe your future two-stage ramp system may be necessary to reduce the approach and breakover angles. That type of setup could eliminate much of the need for floor jacks and improvised wooden ramp extensions. Overall, the truck and trailer accomplished the job, but transporting a vehicle with collapsed suspension required substantially more mechanical work and preparation than a typical customer might expect. I hope this feedback is helpful.
Julius BExcelente manager, buenas atenciones.
Josue RQuick and easy. I would recommend using this location for your moving needs.
Susan REverything was great with the pick up location. Everything was not good with your app or dealers in my area. I had to go outside of my local area to find a common enclosed trailer! The app would not show me this location when I put my actual address in. I had to put a nearby town as my location before the app would show me the location where I actually rented my trailer.
Greg HFront desk worker was very polite and knowledgable.
Randall RTruck smelled like feet and musty, sweaty balls. Not joking. I had to run back to the car to get her scented spray before I could actually get in. Smells like a mop that’s been sitting in a dark closet without being rung out. The black dude behind the counter was chill. The white dude under him was creepy and clearly very lazy. He ran to the bathroom to hide as soon as I got there. And was hiding out back when the next customer arrived. I looked at him and asked him a question and I thought he was gonna try and wear my skin. Seriously, 100% serial unaliver vibe.
JUSTIN KI frequent this location when I need a U-Haul It is a good U-Haul location!
Stuart SI didn't like that I was charged for an entire extra day because I was late 30 minutes on a 24 hour rental
Daniel SThe 2 men who helped us (on Saturday sept 5th at 4:45pm) were extremely helpful and had excellent customer service they are definitely your best workers you’ve got!!
Jada HTayla was exceptional.
John MI picked my truck up and not 5 miles down the road it popped up and said 50 miles to empty. I was told to return the truck with the same gas as I picked it up with so I did. These people added gas talking about it has to be returned with a quarter tank. So they took 60 out of my security deposit for it. Then I called customer service and got my rental extended 3 hours, not days just hours. They charged me 40 for that. Never told me I would be charged, told me customer service didnt say I wouldn't be charged. Thats shady if you ask me. So over all they took my 100 deposit plus charged me an extra 10$ and are still trying to charge me for something I dont believe I should be charged for.

Steve TRenting at this location was quick and well-done, as was returning the truck after the move. I rate these aspects at 5 *s. Going online to reserve the truck, however, was a nightmare, the worst functioning system I've ever used, and I rate your app and online system a 0*, hence the reason for my 3* overall rating. To improve for the next customers, scrap your existing system and have someone create a new one that works.
Dennis FThe staff should walk through with the customer to verify mileage and damage dueing drop off. Your staff lied about both (miles and damage) reflected on the receipt that was sent hours after the equipment was returned and conveniently shortly before the location closed.
Marion REveryone at the East Petersburg, PA store was exceptional. They were all a pleasure to work with and had impeccable customer service. Five stars!
Carrie WFriendly and helpful.
jon eTayla, at check-in, was very friendly and helpful. The guys who handled the return were friendly and the process was smooth and easy!
James WI waited in the lobby for about 10 minutes before anyone came out of the back to help me. Then it started pouring down rain and I was told and left to look for and find my truck on my own without help, and there was about 20 trucks in this lot. I was soaked by the time I found my truck, and figured out how to open the back to put the dolly inside. The truck drove horribly there was definitely something wrong with the alignment on this truck and the balance of the tires or something.
Alex WVery helpful and very professional
Richard MThe drop off went very smoothly and was very efficient.
William SOur associate was great, he went above and beyond.
David BBusy place , but courteous , attentive employees ! Great service !

CHRISTOPHER GTodo está bien, seguir dando el servicio que están haciendo hasta ahora,, buena atencion y calidad humana.
Josue RThe Uhaul truck and trailer were fine, but when I went to drop them off I found the they had been scheduled for two separate drop off locations. Also I was unable to use the app to extend my rental time so I ended up being late.
Daniel AMore staff when dropping off
DUANE DHad reservation #24993537 weeks ahead, received several reminders, to pick up on July 23 between 10AM- 4:30PM. I showed up at 3pm, agent couldn't find reservation, then discovered it had been cancelled at 9:30am July 23rd - earlieer than the reservation by someone at the pick-up point!! Fortunately a Cargo van was in house and available - the estimated invoice included a $60 charge which I didn't ask for - finally corrected estimated charges - I returned the van the next day the 24th earlier than expected, final charges were corrected -for a one day rental.
John HApp kept crashing. Return of vehicle was very frustrating. The lock box was unlocked so I went inside and the attendant was rude and told me to unpack the vehicle and bring it back around so they can clean it. What is the point of using the app to return equipment if I have to go thru a different process
William BThis location is a great example of what U-Haul is supposed to be. Excellent check out and check in service. These guys know what they're doing. Unfortunately, I was not prepared for the new high tech smart phone crap, but I will try to learn it before my next rental in about a month. I hope I get that same truck. It was almost new and worked great. Five Stars !!
David HVery good employee
micheal pGuys were professional and super accommodating. My fav rental spot .. been a customer for decades.
CHAD KStaff were excellent and the trailer towed well with no issues. There does seem to be a need to have more small trailers in the fleet though.
Jeffrey OThe customer service person was friendly and processed my reservation quickly. However, I was waiting for quite a bit before someone could even come in to see me. I suspect because they are doing 3 or 4 other jobs because you understaffed the location. For that reason I would be reluctant to recommend the location. The wait times are far too long.
Mark MFix your APP. It is very unreliable for something that is used as the Primary Rental and Return method. The APP failed to correctly enter information multiple times during the checkout and would not accept the information at all during the return. Repeatedly(3 times) would enter the return The service and friendliness of onsite personnel was outstanding.
William SWe had an excellent experience renting. Both pickup and drop off were efficient and easy.
ascott kIt was a shit show getting in or out of the location. It was so chaotic I couldn't even figure out what to do. The guy behind the counter could have cared less. He gave us the keys and the wrong spot number so we had to find our truck ourselves. Then the chrck engine light was on as soon as we turned it on.
Kelly TGreat customer service
