Alan GYou shouldn’t endorse outside Movers. It ruins your reputation. They didn’t show even thou I confirm that morning and then called when they didn’t show and was told they were almost there and after 2hrs of them not showing calling again to be told they will send a new guy but only 1 even thou I reserved 2 movers. After 1 hr more of this same guy not showing I called again and they said they were on their way. NEVER arrived!! I had to move it all by myself and I’m 64 and the lady that helped me is 55 and over weight and outa shape!!!! They make Uhaul look bad.

But I left some items in the trailer on accident and when I called the next day I was told they cleaned the trailer and nothing was left inside. So we went down to U-Haul a few days later and pressed them to show us their storage on site. And we found some of our items in there. Luckily a few days later they called with the rest of my items. Happy to have it back but disappointed they lied and tried to steal my items until my boyfriend went in and forced them to show us their on site storage

Brian CI have utilized this Huntington Beach place for rentals probably 20-30 times over the past 10 plus years. Always quick and easy and as promised. It’s my go to place. Today I rented a 26’ truck. I drove to Chula Vista from HB-this location and back. Today was not a great experience with this teck in particular. The truck felt like it was a bronco bucking back and forth and vibrating the cab and the precious cargo I was carrying from speeds of 46-65 which was the average during traffic. The best results I had were the slow lane at 35-40 and when I got to 75 plus. I think it maxed out at 78 and it was smoother for the few minutes I could drive at that speed before I ran into traffic and it started again. It was my worst experience with a Uhaul truck in all my experiences. The gentleman who helped me return the truck gave me $20 discount on a $300 bill. Although I was thankful, most of my drive was not pleasant. I had to take extra time to slow down several times and try to maintain a speed that wasn’t realistic to not have what felt like a broncing horse or speed wobbles. I’m disappointed in the obligatory $20 off of really a terrible experience and I still spent almost $300 for the 12 hours I had the truck. I think there should have been a better compensation for what was clearly a truck issue. The bringing feeling didn’t change even after we added hundreds of pounds of furniture which we hoped would help for fwy miles but it didn’t.
