The U-Haul smelled like marijauna and I could not get the smell out for the entire trip. While driving, the doors/windows were not sealed all the way, and it was extremely loud to the point that it hurt my ears for the entire 7 hour drive.
James RThe quality of the customer service needs improvement. I was given a $50 gift card only to be told I could not use it. My money was held up for 4cdays in counting while I returned the vehicle with no damage and your business continues. Im disappointed. I can't to this location because I had a great experience before. I can't say thatthe this last experience. I will use a different location or éven a different company at this point.

Leon HThe front desk person was a white male who did not seemed to not know his job. My truck was on E and he expected me to bring the truck back on 3/4 of a tank. I had to ask him to put my dolly in truck after I inspected the truck. One of my mirrors was cracked. It seems like when ordering this online no one inspected this truck before delivery. The white man lack personaility. Im a executive in the downtown area and often rank customer experience very high. This just didnt cut it for me. I will say the older black cleaning the trucks was very helpful.

Eric NStaff is stellar with communication. There was broken glass by the U-Haul that was somewhat concerning that they warned me about. I’m also not completely sure the tank was 100% full because when I filled the tank again it went past the F farther than when I picked it up.

Chirstoper FThe truck is a death-trap! The transmission and suspension were awful. When I got in the truck (and paid $59.12 for the truck and 20 miles), there was 43 miles worth of gas. When I went to return the truck, there was 29 miles worth, so I went to the gas station on E. 55th and Cedar which is two blocks from the U-Haul location. I put $15 in which brought the gas up to 47 miles worth of gas. When I dropped the truck off, the young man with the medium dreadlocks was less than pleasant because I didn't pull under the green awning (which I was NEVER told to do) and told me to just leave the truck there. I then pulled the truck under the awning and told the nice young man outside that I had gone over by 3 miles, but I put extra gas in the tank. After receiving my final receipt, I was charged an extra $78.00 in gas fees. I filed a complaint but had to call the Customer Service number to speak with someone about being OVERCHARGED by A LOT. I was granted a refund, but the experience has left a very bad impression.

Stacy HI recently rented a truck from this U-Haul location. The vehicle itself was well-maintained and performed as expected, which I appreciated. However, the customer service was extremely disappointing. The employee at the front desk, who identified himself as “Sanders,” was unprofessional and rude throughout the interaction. Attitude was like a female so I’m sure he didn’t grow up with a father.. He/She asked unnecessary questions about my personal business and had an unwelcoming attitude from start to finish. I DID report the situation, and I will say that the company responded by offering compensation, which I appreciated. That said, the experience at this specific location was not acceptable, and based on the level of service I received, I would not recommend it to others.
