Radio didn’t work and truck needs a wipe down really badly their is food crumbs and in the driver side handle is old chewed gum.

Because i had an out of state license i had to provide a remote 3rd party verification instead of a uhaul employee reviewing my license. How about you buy the system that validates a drivers license.

donald pI'm very conflicted about my review of this U-Haul location. The staff was very friendly. The equipment was top-ot-the line. The reservation process was terrible, opaque, and on-the-verge of misleading. I did not see a hard copy of my transaction and was not told that the $19.95 printed ALL OVER THE TRUCK was not the price I'd be charged. I was asked how many miles I anticipated driving, but there was no reason why given (i.e., there'd be two payment options based on miles used). Instead, I was given a handheld machine upon which to sign. Before we went to the vehicle, I asked about the $91 hold on my Visa credit card, and I was told it would be adjusted upon return. I asked about fuel charges from two different people (including Yuri, the manager), and I was told to return the car with the same amount of gas it had when I picked up the vehicle. I confirmed that when I returned the car. We even bought extra gas for the vehicle!!! Imagine my surprise when I received the receipt and learned the final cost was $126.50. We likely would have paid the price had we known, but the failure to explain the rate is misleading by omission and unfair. The fact that the final invoice doesn't even show a category for fuel price (since it must be included in the $99.00/day rate) makes me question U-Haul's pricing policies. I take responsibility for being an uninformed buyer, but I will not be using this location again.

WALTER RNever again!!! Our reserved truck was parked behind another truck, making it inaccessible when we arrived. We weren’t the only customers dealing with the same issue, which tells me they aren’t checking at closing to ensure the next day’s reservations are actually accessible. Their solution was simply to switch us to a truck at the front of the line. Then we discovered the loading ramp was missing, but not until we reached our destination. The ramp was the main reason I chose a box truck instead of a cargo van, so that was incredibly frustrating. The mobile app is awful. The night before, I uploaded my driver’s license photos and completed all the required check-in information, expecting that all I’d need the next morning was the code to retrieve the keys. Nope. The app didn’t retain any of my information, so I had to re-enter everything and upload my ID again. What should have taken 10 minutes turned into a 30-minute ordeal. Then came the surprise charges. I wasn’t informed about the $5 Safe Trip fee, the $1 environmental fee, or several other added costs. The advertised “$19.95 In-Town” rate is misleading at best. On top of that, you’re charged $1.59 per mile and expected to return the truck with the same amount of fuel it had when you picked it up. if not, charged what I didnt ask but im sure your kidney at this rate And here’s my biggest issue: if you purchase the $15 SafeMove protection and return the truck undamaged, that fee should be refunded. Paying for protection you never use feels like just another money grab. Overall, a frustrating experience from start to finish. Poor preparation, a terrible app, missing equipment, and surprise fees. Never again.

Jeff Mi rented dozen pads but only received 6 gas gauge was not accurate on pickup. agreement had 9/16 but was less than half at 7/16. i returned as i received it but was charged a difference should have got pads at half price and extra fuel charge should be refunded

When I have a proof of picture of dashboard then they will processed refund but this is all the time and efforts are worthless. very poor service and trying to scam. When you use their service don't forget to take dashboard mileage picture otherwise they will charge and scam to you.

I been pointing out so many things about helping them get better with customer service since I rent from them all the time and there is always something, is mine blowing. I’m changing rental companies for sure.

Xavier WThe reason I gave 3 stars is because when I got the truck it had 3/4 of the tank full. I returned it FULL TANK. Spent $43 for 10 gallons. To return it the way I got, it would probably cost me a lot less than that. Yet, I went over 1 mile from the estimated mileage I put down which was 30. They could have considered it, couldn’t they? Geez, are you guys dying for a miserable mile? I might look into Penske. This is sad because I’ve always used U-Haul.
CLAUDIO Mthe bring you in for $19 then rake up a huge bill is a true scam. In the future we will go to Lowes or Home Depot where its actually $19 for 90min. Zero plans to ever use U-Hall again after this. That said the staff was professional and nice at the location...its not their fault U-Hall is scamming customers!

fitzgerald lThe radio didn’t work for a drive from Virginia to Florida. Truck descriptions should really be included, facts like seats do not adjust, if you are a big person you won’t fit. Seat belt will not fit you. Driver will physically be required to climb in a truck that has a seat shoulder hight. I rented smallest truck and ones I’ve seen on road are much lower. I’m very disabled on oxygen, had to use cigarette lighter charger for iPhone and oxygen. Take turns. The ports for phone don’t fit on new Apple phones. The outlet like in your house did not work. Driving 650 miles in a truck like this was not pleasant. The truck was clean and well maintained otherwise. Just not up to par for state to state move.

LIMBERG PAlthough I rarely leave anything negative this location does have a downside in that it is so small and busy it is often a chore to get in and out with a truck and trailer. I have used this location several times and I'm always nervous about pulling into the lot with my truck because of the setup there and lack of area to maneuver. The other thing I noticed about this time was I rented a one way from a city 60 miles away and dropped off here 4 hours later yet my receipt said I dropped it off the next day. When I dropped it the employee said I would get an email receipt shortly. I don't know why he couldn't do it immediately as check in and check out is all electronic. I took a picture of the unit at the lot before I left because I didn't like the idea of leaving without my receipt that I dropped the unit. If it were stolen or damaged between the time I dropped it and the next day I might have been liable. This is the first time this has ever happened and I rent several times a year from various locations. Other than the check in this time I like this store and its employees are always helpful.
Keith SI would recommend having more than one employee present in the morning to aid customers with truck rental pick-up. But the employee on site was very professional, polite, and funny.

Douglas JEnsure gas tank isn’t close to empty before the next customer uses the truck. The truck was almost on empty so I had to fill it up enough for it to make it through our usage of it.
MARIAMA BThe location was great but I had a serious problem with U-Haul algorithm’s demand to get an alternate contact and its insistence to reach that contact for approving the rental. Nobody answers a call from an 800 number. I lost 40 minutes trying to get approval. It was totally unnecessary, bureaucratic and stupid. Fuck it!

Frank KRented truck windows were very dirty. A service tire alert was on when I left and stayed on. I put 5 gallons in and you added the cost of 4 gallons. For 66 miles that means less than 10 miles a gallon. That is bogus.
JACK RI ordered a truck for one-way from this location online. Two days before pick-up I received a call from transportation telling me that the truck I rented was not available for one-way and could I return the truck to this location. My move was an hour and a half away so that would be 3 hours round trip plus the extra mileage to return the truck. I agreed to do it because of the discount they offered me to do it. I asked about the extra mileage and they assured me that the milage was included in the discounted rate. When the time came to pick up the truck, the size I reserved was not available. I had to wait an hour at the facility for them to work out the logistics with the discounted rate for the new truck. Jose was EXTREMELY helpful. He was the only pleasant part of the experience. He took care of the discounted rate and after an hour, I was on my way. When U-haul charged the final amount, it was $70 more than the price that they told me on the phone when I agreed to return the truck to them. I tried calling the location and was told that a manager would get back with me. I am still waiting on that call. Not a great experience overall!

FELIX CThe online pick up process needs to have an easy to follow customer guide with screenshots on the wall for everyone to follow. The poor guy at the counter had to explain the process to everyone customer and do the paperwork and keep the line going and check in the trucks. He did a good job multitasking but it was chaotic and time consuming.

Ross TThe safety chains would not stay connected. Each time I stopped they were dragging on the ground. I had to purchase a set that would stay clipped. U-haul reimbursed me for the purchase which was nice.
Michael BYour service was one of the easiest processes I have ever used. It was easy to rent for the day and drop off the next day. I would use your service again, and the vehicle was nice and clean. And it is good to know you have storage facilities to rent as well.

Eric FWhen the location doesn’t have the dollys and packing materials or blankets that you need, they need to be able to refund them immediately. I was unable to get my credit there, when I returned it I was told to call 1-800 and they offered to just cancel tha part of the contract. I should have.ibstead I texted the manager at the location where Ivpicjed up yesterday three times. Was told she would immediately respond and fix the issue. She didn’t even have the decency to acknowledge receipt of my text or its escalation. I was will never recommend or use U-Haul again because of this nightmare.
