TIMOTHY KManagement was very rude and disrespectful by arguing with me and hanging up in my face after it was brought to her attention that I was overcharged by 75 dollars. This happened on 8/3/25. I rented and returned the truck on 8/2/25. I will never rent from this facility ever again

LISA WAlthough a $20 return fee was mentioned, It was for hours outside normal business hours and my return for 24 hours was Saturday 7:30 AM to Sunday 7:30 AM. Store doesn't open 'till 9 on Sunday. I had a hand truck scheduled but they had none so it was a hassle to rent on. Overall, everything worked out fine.
BRIAN Rthey didn't have the size I reserved, so I received a ridiculously large 20' van to move one small apartment. So given no other options I take the massive truck. I had to put $75 back in gas for using 1/2 tank on the semi truck they gave me....I felt like this was unfair. Lastly, upon drop off I am told that they didn't have room for me to drop off at the location even though I clearly had a reservation to return it to the store there. I put my foot down an refused to take the truck elsewhere. They eventually allowed me to leave the truck. All in all, the price was good, the equipment was in good condition, the stores and reservation system leave a lot to be desired. 2.5/5.0 Stars. Ryan Weaver

THOMAS ZI got charged for a full extra day even though I dropped it off early and the lady that checked the truck in was late and charged me extra but the amazing guy that was working was able to help me out and change it. The associate that helped me fix the problem was Sherm and he was absolutely amazing and brilliant.

KELLY CHad truck scheduled for pick up at 7am. Arrived around 8:15 and was told the reservation had been released as I was over an hour after reservation time. I have never seen anything during my reservations that state this nor have I ever had an issue like this in the past. Plus I had it reserved with a credit card that could be charged if I never showed up. Then I was told they did not have an appliance dolly only a small dolly. The staff behind the counter seemed bothered that I was stressed out over the cancellation. I had just traveled in from Tampa to move my daughter out of UF and was told I did not have a truck. Who wouldn’t be stressed. After a few tense moments they were able to”to find me another truck”. No appologies. No compassion. No management to help. Just a couple young kids running the counter. Very unprofessional. Would never rent from this location again

JONATHAN FWheel needed an alignment, engine light came on. Location knew we would be driving 1000+ miles. Asked for 10 ft, got a 15ft as an “upgrade”. This was not an upgrade; the truck was heavier, there was empty space, harder to drive with an anuto transport, and needed more gas. However, staff who helped load our car onto the auto transport/ tow was awesome.
RODRIGO AIt seems like the picture taking process is rather tedious. If I pay the full insurance it would be nice to not have to do that because I assume I won't be responsible for damage? Also it didn't bother me because I wasn't carry anything that could be damaged but the roof was leaking.
Victor MThe cashier was trying to over charge me. I said I wanted a 1 day rental and he said that if I returned it early I would get a refund. I only use 1 day of a two day rental and they did not want to give me a refund. I need my money back.
MONITA GThis location was fine. I realized later that I was overcharged because the mileage had been changed from the original agreement.

I’m glad she recommended that option as I did need it and would’ve lost more money if she didn’t advise me to extend. I would recommend Julie to help anyone that comes into any U-Haul she works at.

JAMES ADillion was a great help in getting me going with a trailer - using a new vehicle for the first time. This location is very lucky to have such an engaged and helpful team member. He's the type of person that makes a business stand out and people happy to come back.
WILLIAM LI contacted the Gainesville location to extend my rental by one day and to change the drop off location to Dahlonega, Ga. The lady I talked to said I needed to talk to someone in the reservations department to do that and she transferred me to a rep. The rep stated it was doable but difficult and would cost an extra $200-300 to do it but it was only an extra $20 for the extra day if I kept the original drop off point. The point being, Uhaul would better serve its customers by making it easier and more affordable to change the drop off location. It shouldn’t be that difficult to do. Thank you, Mike Parker
MICHAEL PThis wasn’t the location for pick-up we originally selected and UHaul was wonderful w sourcing the equipment we needed and informing us where to pick it up…which wasn’t far from our original choice. Woman there was very busy yet extremely helpful/courteous.

CLIFTON AJulie, the store manager was rude not only to me but to other customers in the store. She kept saying, "there's nothing I could" and "I don't know why you can't understand what I'm telling you." To be clear, I understood what she was telling me. However, what I didn't understand was that she "couldn't do anything about it." It wasn't true, and I new it because when I had her call somebody, they resolved the issue in 5 seconds. I think she is a poor fit for customer service, or she needs some serious professional development to help her deal with the pressures of her position.
DONALD MSome equipment that was requested on the reservation was available when I arrived at the location which put us in a very difficult position because we rented the truck to pickup a refrigerator. Had we received a notice before hand we could have made other plans.

JEROME AI rented a van. The location said there isn’t a van even in Gainesville at any of their locations. They gave me a 10’, which is fine. The first truck though had a check engine light on. The second one had two tires low on pressure. They don’t take care of their trucks here. Both interiors were dirty and hadn’t been cleaned in years.

STEVEN PMy initial reservation was for the location on 13th Street which allowed me to book same day self pick up on a Sunday, however the actual store is closed on Sundays and a truck was not assigned to me. I called the Help Desk and Natasha helped me find a new location that allowed me to still get a truck. Additionally, she submitted a claim for me since my reservation was certified. I appreciated her quick assistance and her above and beyond help!

mary cI asked to park the rental vehicle on the lot as; 1) it was only a couple miles from my storage location, 2) it was the easier to park than backing in at my overnight location. The Gainesville location would NOT allow this. My biggest issue is that I wanted the security that it "looked" like any other rental, and therefore less of a target for theft, verses in an open parking lot.
