The Uhaul rep wasn't there and wouldn't show up until after 10am. No clear signage on where to park the truck and trailer. The gentleman at the store was trying to be helpful but it was clearly not his normal duties.
ELIZABETH SI dropped the trailer off Friday around 4pm the 14th got notice today that wasn’t checked in till this morning was charged extra fees. This is the second time I’ve been scammed by a Uhaul location. I will be calling tomorrow to speak with a manager regarding this.
TIFFANY MTruck was the most horrible equipment I had ever rented from uhaul. I could feel each and every bump and pothole on road. Suspension was really bad. It feels like I have back injury from this equipment. I would never get this kind of truck any more from uhaul.
NAYAN GThe U-Haul smelled so bad, and then I went to return it and it took so long. The guy screwed up and they tried to charge me 2K for a Uhaul when I had it for two days. It may of been a mistake but was not handled in a professional manner. I have rented here many times but will not be returning.

ROBERT WPick up was Great Justin and Troy where helpful and 5 star customer service! We had issues with final payment. We were unable to complete the contract upon drop-off. So we call and had them notate the account that we would be in the following day. There were 2 counter people. The first counter person was rude. We were trying to explain the situation and he was telling the other counter person no I'm not doing that you do it. It was like he wasn't even trying to figure it out. We felt pushed off and inconvenient for him. This is a very sad experience we've been using uhaul for ever move since 2020 6 times total. Never been treated this way.
Albert NMost of the staff was helpful. But there was one employee that was the one of the absolute worst employees ive ever had help me. As soon as i drove in the lot he cussed at me and threw his hands up.. was no help, and was muttering things under his breath right in front of me. It was embarrassing for him, would hate to be that miserable

CINDY FThe agent fussed at me for not parking in the right place when I drove in. It was a very crowded location. I did not see the signs directing me to the return location. No big deal!
GEORGE WThe guys were nice and helpful with both pick-up/drop-off… but the location is on busy/high-speed frontage road and there is not nearly enough space on the lot for the inventory they have. It’s a big log jam and there’s no place to park, and definitely not enough room to maneuver a trailer.
Seth HHaul set us up with 2 people to help us with our heavy items. They were to help us for 2 hours and the charge would be $100 plus tip. They were supposed to start at 8:30am. At 9:00, we called to see when they would come. I was told they were running late but would be here soon. At 10:00, we called again and got the same answer. We canceled the help. A few minutes later I received an email saying that if I change my mind I should call back. They have several dependable crews standing by. I didn't call but wondered why the person on the phone didn't mention this.

San JI was charged a "After Hours Fee of $20.00" My rental contract read from 8am-4pm on 9/20/25. I returned the trailer at 1:36pm on 9/20/25. It was a young skinny black male with glasses who told me I was good to go but did not give any paperwork when I returned trailer. CONTRACT: 91644028 on 9/20/2025.
ROBERT JWhen we got the truck there was lots of little issues, then we got a surprise charge of $140. We took a chance on U-Haul when we typically use Penske, I will stick with Penske where there’s no surprises or crappy trucks. Good life lesson.
CHEYENNE GReally nothing that I can think of the employee that helped me was very courteous and professional. He made it very easy and quick I was out of there in less than 5 minutes.
ALLEN TMaintain your vehicles and have humans answer the phones. Communicate with each other. My truck broke down and was towed off. All of which was scheduled through your app. I was texted several time asking me to return the vehicle. I've requested a full refund and have yet to hear from anyone.

CARL RThe staff was very helpful. The challenge is the location of this small store right off the freeway. We had to park on the neighborhood street and walk to the store. Every inch of space was taken with UHaul equipment that prevented for us to get on-site to drop off the truck and dolly we had and to get into the car of a friend picking us up. The staff had more work to do than they could humanly manage. Location was clean and organized in the confines of their space. Just TOO little space to handle customers!!!
WILLIAM BI ordered a furniture dolly with my truck. Checking in the person asked if I still needed the furniture dolly along with all their other questions. Of course I did as I was moving an upright piano. Opening the back of the moving van I noticed there was no furniture dolly. Coming back inside the other attendant said “oh we do not have any furniture dolly’s”. But I ordered a furniture dolly because I needed one. I was offered a utility dolly which would not help with the piano but I guess it would help move other boxes. The attendant said that he would take the furniture dolly off my bill. After loading the utility dolly I came back inside looking for verification that the furniture dolly was taken off of my bill and I told “oh, I can’t take it off but I added a note.” I was dropping my van off at another location so I hope I will not be billed for a missing furniture dolly. It was a tough go but we were able to move the piano.
CHRISTOPHER WDiscounts for returning customers who's has used rentals each year, and it wasn't clean in regards to the front windows or side windows, full of splattered bugs which could have hindered viewing.
TRAE HKudos to the attendant for discovering this issue. I hope he doesn’t get in any trouble for the hole in the body.

Carl DCustomer service was beyond rude and seemed bothered by us as soon as we walked in. Did not direct us on where to go and what to do and did not try and help us when we had to back up to the trailer. Terrible parking lot there is no parking what so ever just one handicap spot. It’s a complete mess at this location we will never use this location again.

Amanda AThe Associates did not put the right email so I had to call customer service and be with them for over 30 min in order to return the U-Haul after hours. Then they say the one way trip was more expensive, which they were right but by $10-20 more dollars. That could have went to the gas and had to come back 30 min to return it instead of just dropping off at San Marcos. Also they were not the most helpful when I came in the door.
Steven MThe truck I rented was pretty worn. There was tons of damage, the seats were ripped, the brakes were really mushy, it had almost 150,000 miles but looked like it had 300,000 and drove really rough. At $140 dollars for 6 hours I would expect better. If you make $1 a miles that truck has been paid off two plus times over without even getting into the daily rental fee and insurance mark ups. Based solely off the condition of the truck I will go back to Pesky next time.
