The server was down on Saturday when we went to rent the UHaul, so there was a super long line and it took forever to process everyone's reservations. Also, we wanted to pick up and drop off in Issaquah, but two days before found we had to pick up in Renton so switched from an A to A move to an A to B move, which increased the price. Then, the day we were going to drop the truck in Issaquah, we were told we had to return it in Bellevue instead, which was just as far away as Renton. So I asked if we could drop it off where we picked it up in Renton and change back to an A to A move like our original plan, but they said no. So we couldn't pick up or drop off in the location we wanted, and got charged extra. It was really annoying.

I liked their friendly service. Even though there was a long line of customers, probably because of their friendly service, they made sure that everybody in the line was at least acknowledged upon entering. And they handled the customers like a pro. Great team!

I will admit the convenience of renting a moving van is tough to beat but the van we rented seemed to be 'over-used' in the suspension. the shocks are not worn but virtually gone. The steering had the van wanting to travel all over the road - in a high wind I would have struggled to keep my own lane. I also do not appreciate being charged for the $30 coverage when I selected, and my receipt shows, I chode the $15 option. I was also charged for 3 gallons of fuel when I added over 4.5 before returning it putting it maybe 1/16th, 1/32nd below where it was, certainly not 3 gallons. I'll find a different option next time.

Jason was just outstanding. He called the day before to adjust my pickup time because of a schedule change. The new time worked for me, and the truck was ready when he said it would be. On Saturday, when I returned the truck, the location was extremely busy, and Jason was handling everything inside as well as outside. He was doing an awesome job, but with the number of rentals coming and going on a Saturday afternoon, it was hard for him to keep up.

They stopped taking drop offs 30 minutes before the time on the App. If it’s 6:30 then say 6:30, not 7:00. Thank you

I had a lovely experience. A kind professional woman was there to get me set up and give me keys and instructions. Then at drop off a guy was there to take the keys and tell me I was all checked in. Super smooth process. Thank you

I just rented a truck here. I returned it in a cleaned condition — not perfectly clean, but definitely not bad enough to charge me $150 for a cleaning service. I am going to ask for this money back. This is really frustrating and exhausting

I had a bad experience with one of the staff members—a woman who was assisting us on-site this past Saturday. She insulted us, verbally attacked us, and behaved in a very aggressive and rude manner. For me, it was a truly negative experience; after all, if you are renting a trailer or equipment and paying for a service, there is simply no reason for the staff to treat you poorly or mistreat you in that way.

There were multiple fees and costs that were not mentioned until I was in the location. When questioned, they were highly defensive, and took an immediate negative attitude. They also lied about the initial level of the gas gauge and the truck smelled like an ash tray.

The guy working at the counter on Friday, 4/10/26 was rude, dishonest and unhelpful. When we picked up the cargo van, the vehicle didn’t have 3/4 of gas in the tank as he stated, we filled up over 3/4 fuel tank after using the vehicle for two hours, we even took photos of fuel gauge before and after for proof. U-Haul sent us the receipt showing additional $21.70 for 3 gallons fuel charge. We went back to the store to talk with the guy, he didn’t listen or care, he told us it was our fault for not checking the text message on our phone when picking up the vehicle and there was nothing he could do about it. We were appalled for the terrible customer service we received at this store! We would recommend checking your phone for text message and carefully reviewing receipt from U-Haul when doing business at this location, there might be additional charges of something that you’re not aware of.

Best experience ever renting from Uhaul. Renton Truck Uhaul location had great reviews, so I went with them to move an apartment size home. Christa offered coffee and hooked up one of their 8 foot trucks and 6 by 12 trailers for the move. Both where very clean and was a much nicer ride and experience that using one of the bigger trucks. The chevy truck was very comfortable and pulled that fully loaded trailer easily. Cannot believe how much you can get into one of those 6 by 12 cargo trailers. Highly recommend you try one of these with their 1/2 ton 8 foot truck for a move vs the bigger truck.... and you will get a clean well maintained one. Will use both again when needed.

I was not told about the parking policy in advance. That lack of information caused some very poor interactions, and caused me to run an hour late when moving my terminally ill husband. The added stress was something I did not need especially as it was entirely avoidable.

Went by myself to pick the U-Haul truck. ask the guy that worked there. Where can I park my car and he said that there was no parking on their lot. You would have to either park at Chevron right next-door or discount tires which they probably would tow my car away so I ended up parking two blocks away on the street. I didn’t feel that my car was safe, but I did it anyways cause I didn’t have anybody that could come to to pick up my car

The staff was very kind and helpful and efficient ! Unfortunately, this wasn’t the location that Ioriginally made my reservation at …2 weeks in advance to my move. I had to drive a half hour each way to pick up the U-Haul when my original location was five minutes from my home , so with that I’m disappointed.it took up an hour of my reserved elevator time . Without the elevator reservation, it took me an additional two hours to move my things out and all I got for the inconvenience was 30 miles. That is my only complaint

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. The elderly gentleman who assisted me was markedly rude, abrupt, and confrontational. I am unsure if he is on the autism spectrum, as I had to repeat my phone number at least seven times. Additionally, he repeatedly revealed his open carry firearm while behaving with an attitude. Moreover, I was provided with a key to a vehicle parked behind others. The sole positive aspect of the visit was the interaction with the young man outside, who was very personable and apologetic regarding my situation. He assumed responsibility and endeavored to resolve the matter effectively.

My disappointment is not with the location or staff, it is related to U-haul corporation. The actual dimensions vs the advertised dimensions 4x7 trailer is misinformation. The trailer was too small. This cost me valuable time in making several trips to U-Haul. I also had to pay for two trailer as I had to go rent a second trailer a few minutes after I renting and returning the first one. I will not be renting from U-haul again, which is disappointing as I am a frequent customer.

The app is a complete let down. I spent 1 hour trying to return the truck and still couldn't do it. The app asks various equipment questions and even after answering them nothing happens. It tells to enter miles and after entering it says miles are way higher than initial estimate and t returns to the original screen. Besides the app being a joke everything else was cool. Also, the dolly wasnt secured. The green seal was already broken before I tool the truck. That made it look like the one who has used it.

Had some initial issues with using app to pick up vehicle but eventually able to get it to work (arrived 15 minutes before pick up time and couldn't start processing. I thought app allowed 24hr pickup)

Super friendly staff!!! I picked up a trailer Monday morning. The drop off area was very full. The trailer I was picking up was buried between trucks. Christa greeted me with a friendly smile and cheery attitude. She got a guy to move the trucks to free up my trailer. The guy that moved the trucks was super nice too. I forget his name. Tonight I dropped the trailer off and Christa helped me park it. She is awesome! This is my favorite U-Haul!

Let customers know at time of reservation that parking is limited at the site, it was inconvienient not to be able to leave my car and the guy was rude about it.

I have rented several Uhaul trucks over the years. This was the best overall experience I have ever had. I did not use the Aop to rent the the truck, but used it to check out the truck by taking pictures before leaving the lot. I also used the app to check the truck in after hours. It was easy and convient. I loved that there was no guessing about whether I did everything right when I dropped the truck after hours. Within seconds after taking all the photos of the truck, including the odometer readting, I had an adjusted total (I went 2 miles over my estimated milage and the final bill was adjusted by $3.51) and the additial amount was automatically charged to my card. I had a reciept before I left the lot. My only disappointment was that the location I rented from did not have a hand truck available for rent. I overheard the costomer service rep on the phone stating that they had not had them available for months! Fortunatly, we were able to borrow one from a friend.

I made a reservation online, which was quick and easy. They had my reservation ready when I arrived. And were extremely helpful when booking the trailer up to my vehicle. The return was just as smooth. The only thing, which isn’t really a thing, is that they asked me again about purchasing insurance, even though I answered all those questions already during the online reservation process.
