I havent rented a uhaul in years. This was a good experience, at least at this location. Staff person who checked me in was helpful. Van was relatively new and clean. Id rent from here again.

The team at this U-Haul location worked exceptionally well, not only with me, but also while managing a busy store. They remained poised, professional, and attentive, seamlessly assisting everyone. Excellent service all around!

The app works terribly. It was requiring me to submit photos for both pickup and return, but the app was not uploading any of the photos I would take using the app. The app needs to be fixed, or at least make it possible to submit photos from my camera reel.

I reserved a van for three days. When I showed up to pick up my van, I was told that I only could rent it for one day. Now I was moving across town and really needed the three days for me to do my move. It would have been great to have been notified of this change prior to me picking up the van. I am an older woman who had people hired to help me on Sunday. Because I was no longer going to have the van on Sunday. I ended up having to move myself just didn’t go very well for me. Your office should have contacted me in advance so that I could have made other arrangements.

The line to wait for the truck was very long. We waited one hour before we we helped. The person who helped us was kind. On a Saturday they could use more help.

I made a reservation online 2 weeks ago and arrived early to pick up my uhaul vehicle. I only got it an hour after the scheduled pick-up time and almost didn't receive it because the employees didn't have enough vehicles. The one I got was also in poor condition, with scratches and bruises all over. The manager was very unprofessional, answering personal calls while assisting me and juggling between customers.

The cargo door was broken on the first truck they gave me so I couldn't even open it. The second truck had trash in the front, white stuff on the floors and cockroaches which I had to kill and clean. Returning the truck was a mess as there's no real sign to say where to put the truck and the website crashed while I was taking the photos. Then proceeded to auto submit and won't even let me see my previous rental so I can add the rest of the pictures. Overall really not a good experience.

Weeks in advance we rented a truck at the Ujaul location in Havertown Pa The day before pick up they send a text that we now have to pick up in Philly 30 minutes further away When you call either location you get put on hold for at least 30 minutes or they don’t answer the phone at all When we picked up the truck in Philly the passenger side mirror was broken so we had to wait while they fixed Obviously the truck was not checked out prior to us getting itThe tire pressure light was also on the whole time

Only thing was getting the key out the box ,for the truck , it was so hard to put the code in there , because, the numbers on the lock was snatched off

The equipment i had ordered ahead of time was unavailable and there was only 50 miles of gas left in the tank when I got into the Uhaul. Staff also worked very slowly and acted like I was inconvenienceing them

I originally was supposed to return my UHaul to Stan’s Tires at 4420 Market Street however that experience was awful. I arrived early however the location of this drop offs is not accommodating for UHaul trucks. When I pulled up there was not space for me to even temporarily park so that I could talk to a customer service associate. When I tried to stop in front of the location briefly one of the men working yelled at me to move the truck but did not follow up tell me where to park it. When someone did finally come they wanted me to drive around the block and park down the street in essentially a pedestrian crosswalk. I was so uncomfortable with what that would make me responsible for therefore I last minute had to change my reservation to drop off somewhere else.

The manager is extremely rude. This location made a mistake that caused a tremendous amount of additional stress during an already stressful move. The manager refused to accept accountability for their mistake and was combative and hostile on the phone. When I called customer service, they said I was owed a $50 credit to my reservation, and the manager refused it on the grounds that he "has a job to protect." This location is completely unprofessional, doesn't honor customer reservations, and doesn't correctly compensate customers when they make mistakes. I will tell my friends in Philadelphia to rent from another location if they can. Avoid the University City location at all costs; dealing with the manage is not at all worth it.

Customer service my gas level was lower than what was indicated but there was back and forth for it the attendant didn't know how to accurately read it even though she was looking at it, was telling me what Iwas seeing is not

When I showed up for my reservation, I was told that a truck was not available for me and that I would have to wait until someone dropped off their truck. The previous day, I was told from a UHaul rep that there would be a truck for me at this location at 7:30 AM. I had movers coming at 8 AM, and I was not able to be at my apartment before their arrival. It caused tremendous headaches and unnecessary stress in my journey. I would not recommend.

Have the equipment that I reserved. There were multiple people there that reserved a dolly but wasn't available. I reserved the equipment weeks in advance, how hard is it to have it available? The guy working there also mumbled so much I couldn't understand him half the time. I get you don't want to be there but don't make it difficult for the customer too. There was also toe nail clippings in the uhaul. Disgusting.

Train the customer service representative to be more friendly. Also let folks know what late return really means. If I'm supposed to return the truck by 9pm,and I have to do the checkout by myself, is the time spent to do that part of my time? Is Kate return 5,10 or 7 minutes post agreed time or time on the dot?
