I received a confirmation email saying my truck was â€œreserved guaranteedâ€ for Saturday at 6:30 pm. I got there and the location was closed and locked. I talked to a rep on the phone who said the location closes at 5. I had to reschedule and change all my plans since my â€œguaranteedâ€ reservation wasn't available. Terrible experience.James G.
The issue is not with the location but with the reservation system! We were told one place for pickup and had to go to another. That process took 1.45 hour with moving guys waiting and costing us money! The guy at the place we actually picked it up said â€œThis happens all the time.â€ Ridiculous!WILLIAM P.

I was very disappointed and aggravated by the pickup. The customer representative was not attentive, having another conversation on his phone and barely would respond to me. He eventually gave me the keys but failed to tell me where the truck was so I had to spend additional time looking for it until I eventually found it. Drop off was smooth.CHIENA L.

I reserved a 20 foot moving truck to be picked up at 11 AM. When I arrived at the location, the door was locked and there was no one inside. I was told that the Manager had left the office to go to the bank. One of the employees that parks and cleaned the trucks assisted me with checking out my reserved truck. He had a little training, but was not able to answer all of my questions although the tried his best to assist. I also wanted to rent moving blankets and was told that they only had blankets for purchase, not renting. The truck I received clearly had not been swept, as there were coins left on the floor. The drop off was timely. I was in and out in no time.LEE E.
Simply, pick up the darn phone when called and don't transfer a customer to the 1800 number unnecessarily. Have adequate staff on hand to assist customers when picking up and dropping off equipment and not just have the manager.do everything. You are understaffed which needs rectifying.. Right headlight came loose from the car when I hit a bump. Truck was leaking antifreeze and the transmission was in bad shape. It labored and shifted way too late.Mitchell M.
the employee was very rude, didn't acknowledge the customers, opened the store late, was sitting at the desk eating dunkin' donuts and on his personal phone. He also began to argue with me when I pointed out the ways he was being rude to the waiting customers. His name is Anthony Bell. He is giving this location a bad impressionWILLIE M.
The manager, Anthony, was COMPLETELY RUDE and told us to our face he didn't want us there. We made a reservation for a location that doesn't close until 7, showed up at 4:30 (our exact reservation time) and he tried to make us leave. He tried to say he had a party to go to and they close at 5. (Mind you, it was 30 minutes BEFORE 5 o clock. The entire time we were at the counter he was complaining and cussing about how he â€œhad to f***ing be somewhereâ€ and how we were holding him up from his partying. Anthony is a completely and utterly disgraceful excuse for a â€œmanagerâ€.KIARA K.

The Northern Parkway office was great to work with as well as the Bel Air Road and Moravia office. The only issue was having to go to three separate locations in order to get what I had requested. The first one didn't have the item because it wasn't returned, the second office had what I needed but it had a bad tire so the only other option was the Reisterstown location. This created a major inconvenience as my timeline for the day had to be shifted right and required extra travel to pickup and return the item without incurring additional charges. I fully understand the circumstances that lead to all the inconveniences imposed on me but at some point there should be some consideration and even compensation allocated to customers when these issues happen. I felt it was pointless to engage anyone about the situation at any of these locations as they were following protocols and appreciate the customer service they provided, as it was excellent but it was still a major inconvenience.JASON M.

I did a 1 way rental and was quoted more mileage than I knew I needed. When booking I very specially asked if I went under the mileage would I be refunded for the difference and was told that I would only be charged for the miles I used, â€œif I went under I would get a refund, if I went over I would be charged the difference! Unpin returning my rental today I am now being told that I would not because it is a flat fee when doing a 1 way rental, however if I would have gone over what I was quoted I would be charged the difference!â€ I WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN...TIA J.

Try not forcing insurance charges as well as charging people for a whole extra day when they only had a 1 day rental. If it's not too much can you also try to make sure your vehicles don't smell like a whole pack of Newport cigarettes. By the way I will be making a corporate complaintJARMELL R.

I returned my truck that I had rented for 1.5 hours to the location. I was told by the representative that I did not need to wait around and that they would check the car back in and send me the bill. I then received a bill later on that had a cleaning fee added to it. 1. If I would have known that the truck was not satisfactorily clean, I would have made sure to clean it until I got their approval. 2. Additionally, I was not alerted to the chance that there could be a cleaning fee. The representative did not mention that to me nor is it anywhere in my contract.
