Everything was great!
Linda SI was originally supposed to pick up the truck from the spruce hills location but then was notified that the pick up location was changed to the 3836 eastern ave location. When we arrived a little before 11(11 am was our pick up time) no one was there and the building was closed. We then tried to call the number that was in the email saying to call if we needed help to which that number was not in service anymore. We then had to drive to the spruce hills location to try to find a solution. The guy who helped us we at least kind and able to give us a replacement truck even though it was bigger than what we were expecting to get but we were just happy to get a truck at all. We were on a very strict time schedule as we had multiple items we had to pick up and move from different locations so all that wasted a bunch of our time which we weren’t too happy about. The switching and different location changes sucked and for the foreseeable future we will not be returning to use uhaul or at least these particular locations

LYNN BThis location has been around a long time. I do love the location, they have a huge selection and lots of supplies. HOWEVER!! The attitudes and professionalism of the staff are atrocious!! One was resting her head in her hands at the counter, looking very unprofessional, the guy that checked me in was okay, then the girl that checked me out afterwards was sorta rude and condescending. I could manage that place better!!!! The truck had an engine light on, the bell kept dinging, and when I advised them of the issues... they dismissed it. The truck was not very clean. I'll still rent from there like I said, the location is a long standing staple, but you need new service people!!!

carol mI rented the larger moving truck. It would have been nice for someone at the Spruce Hills location to review options in the cab before I took off. I was able to figure most of them out myself. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Typically, I rent from the 5000 Avenue of the City's location in Moline IL 61265. However, that particular day they did not have the equipment I needed. Kayla the manager at the Moline location has been excellent in providing customer service. Recently I've had a trailer hitch installed, rented a 6x8 pull behind and rented a 26ft moving truck. Again, I can't say enough about Kayla and the support she has provided in renting equipment from the Moline U-Haul location.
DOUGLAS JThe equipment was clean; however, the vehicle was poorly maintained. The steering was extremely loose, causing the vehicle to sway from side to side while driving. This vehicle is unsafe and should not be rented again until it has been properly inspected and repaired.

John OI asked for a 5pm to 5pm trailer rental and I get called at 9am the next day why im on the road asking when im bring it back it's need for some other family and told the the computer says I ask for 4pm to 5pm the same day to got almost a 400 mile trip and when I replied with what it should be I was told nope it on the computer that way and im sure the person on the phone was the same person I set the reservation in person a few days before.

RON WThis location was great in fixing an issue with a different location. I was originally scheduled to pick up in Stuart, IA and when I called to see if I could change my pick up time I was informed that they did not have a truck available for me. This was after I had already been informed that there were no trucks available for the second time at my preferred pick up location of Ames, IA. Had I not contacted them about changing my pick up time I would have driven three hours to then learn I didn’t have a truck to haul my son’s item home with. The regional office in Des Moines did nothing to help or care what the issue was. It was unnecessary stress in a time that was already pretty stressful. If it wasn’t for the help of the employees at this location I don’t know what I would have done. They listened to the issue and made suggestions to help better serve me and my needs.
Amanda MThe staff were super friendly, helpful and very easy going. I didn’t end up taking my utility dolly and they seemed very understanding. The van I used was perfectly set up and ready to go. I didn’t give it a full inspection before taking off but it seemed pretty clean when I got it.
Bryson TTamara and Jessica were professional and helpful for my first time rental. The costs were really easy and the equipment worked perfectly ( Truck with ramp and appliance dolly). I would recommend.

Frank JThe reason I said no on recommendation is I don’t know if that’s the regional hub for all the extra trucks you have but it does not work well with 120 square-foot parking lot you have there accessibility sucks new location or move trucks service was excellent employees great
