Clear explanations about why One Way Rentals are only available for 2 days with a 26' truck - even if you need only a small truck for a few hours. The explanation " Company rules" doesn't seem sufficient. Truck maintenance has room for improvement. A truck pulling heavily to one side with extreme vibrations laterally and vertically should fixed before renting it out again.Michael K.

I was flying in to Gainesville and had to do the after hours pick-up due to my flight time. I got to the location just shortly after they closed and went to check the door to see if they might still be open as I was a little insecure about the whole after hours pick-up using their app on my phone (i'm and old guy). One of the employees saw me and came out long enough to point out my truck and assure me that the process would take a little time be just fine. Well it was and I was very relieved. The truck was clean had plenty of gas. I rented the model with the 15' box. It's a big truck but it's well powered, handles nicely and is generally easy and comfortable to drive. I had to drive from Florida to Virginia on the 95 and was able to easily stay with the flow of traffic. The mirrors provide good visibility for changing lanes or backing up. All in all a good experience.Christopher M.

Pick up my reserved trailer on a Sunday afternoon. There were many customers though only one employee who was serving them at checkout. Seemed unreasonable amount of wasted time waiting particularly when I used your online reservation and quick check in service.Dennis H.

My reservation was changed . Location and the rental truck size . I had to drive about 45 mins out to pick up my 26 foot truck. Which was a huge inconvenience. I initially pick the dale mabry location due to the fact that my storage was right down the road. I was also up charged on my rental reservation. My reservation cost was around 350 when I scheduled on 3/22. We called customer service and a supposed discount of around 144was refunded. AFTER this refund of 144..... my new price is now 350$ ???? How? If my initial reservation was around 350. This means I was up charged and lied to. This was the worst experience of my life . My boyfriend and I had to miss our going away get together due to the huge inconvenience. I don't believe I would rent from uhaul again. And I would not recommend to family and friends.. moving is hard enough and I wouldn't want them to experience the stress that we went through.Susana C.

Michael King checked me in and was very kind and helpful. Inside, a young man, wish I knew his name, helped me figure out the UBER app so I could call for a ride to the airport. He stood there and made sure I got through the downloading all the way to securing a ride. Very nice young man, he'd just come back from lunch and was so helpful, as I'm a senior lady who'd never used UBER before and was pretty nervous about missing my plane! I arrived this location at the time I was supposed to pick up my reservation, but I was waiting for over an hour to be delievered the truck. I rented it for 6 hours and I returned it 5:30 hours after they give it to me, but still I was charged 50 dollars more. I received a trailer with a defective tire, and was contacted after 5 hours when I was already loaded and on the road with my moving. I actually reserved a unit from a different location, but there was no one there to let me into the gated area to pick up the truck. I called UHaul customer service, and was on hold for over 30 minutes with no help. I finally drove to the 802 N Main location and the female clerk at this location helped me still get the truck in time with no hassle.ANGELA T.
I appreciated the extra time taken by the young man who checked my vehicle back in. I am getting ready to help my son move to NYC, and have been debating what size truck we would need. He opened up the 10ft truck for me to size up and I was able to compare it to the 15ft truck, which allowed me to make a solid choice as to what we'll need. When returning the Uhaul is when the negative experience occurred. While returning the keys the manager on duty and I had a miscommunication on whether the employee in attendance was reviewing the uhaul and providing a receipt while I was trying to request a Lyft. We discussed why I was waiting and clarified the receipt would be emailed, and that wasn't the issue. It was beginning to storm and began to walk to a near by Zaxbys to continue requesting a ride inside a building. While walking, the employee that was there ran after me to let me know my account is on â€œHoldâ€ and asking me to come back. I did, and talked with the manager on duty. We discussed the balance that was not clearing from the account on file. I asked if they would take two forms of payment to clear the balance. When I tried to hand the manager cash to clear majority of the balance, the excuse was that the manager counted the cash for the night, and wasn't accepting any. Then offering to force me into a promissory note with Uhaul. Completely stupid, all that would've happened is the manager would had to add to the count, the remaining balance at that time would've been paid with the account on file.ivan B.
First off, my rental was not available at the specified location. Then later on, I noticed my air conditioning did not work. I was stuck in stormy weather with no way to see, due to no air circulation inside the truck; which caused the windshield to fog up very rapidly and bad. Make sure that the fuel levels match what is on the sheet because even though I was told to make sure to take a picture and submit it in the app (which I did) I was still charged for additional fuel - even though I filled the tank up way past where I got it.
