We had to wait approximately 10 minutes for assistance upon arrival. Once served, staff was friendly and helpful.

Yvette CI arrived at 10 am for a 10 am pick-up of a 5’x8’ trailer. When I walked in an employee walked out with a customer to hitch up her trailer rental. I was the only person in the store. The reason I mention that is because by the time someone who worked at U-Haul came back, there were at least 10 people in line and I began taking pictures because I thought it was very strange that there was no one in the store working on a Saturday morning for at least a half hour! If I wasn’t the first person in line I would have probably been more upset. But I’ve worked with this location at least 3 times in this past year and I find them to be helpful and competent so this is not a complaint. This is simply an observation. 🙏🏻

Carlton DThere are several reasons for my below average rating. First of all, the truck I was getting was parked so close to the other truck that I had to climb through the driver's side to get to my seat and there was no offer to move it. Second, the employee marked the gas at 7/8 but it was actually right below 3/4, so I had to call the customer service number to report the inaccurate amount. I was told the account would be noted and I would not be responsible for the extra gas. However, when I turned the truck in, it had not been updated so I was expected to pay for the difference in gas. Lastly, I had asked for 12 rental blankets, but was only given 10. I did not realize this until I was dropping off the truck since I had movers handling the loading of the truck. I was then told I had to pay for the missing blankets. These are 3 instances where the pick up location's inattention to details were a problem and I would not recommend this location. Thankfully I was able to get in touch with U-Haul customer service and they filed a claim to reimburse me the amount I was wrongfully being charged for the 2 lost blankets and then mis-marked gas level.

christopher cThe website is not always accurate. It may claim that this location doesn't have the vehicle I want to rent, on the day I want it, for example. But whenever I call or go there to make arrangements, the service people are always able to accommodate me.

michael pThe truck smelled like marijuana. Which I do not think is the fault of the location, so I hope that does not reflect on them. The location itself was very communicative, the truck was staged, exactly like how the person who called me today prior told me. The office staff and people there were very good. The main concern was the pick up, which I think is the U-Haul application on mobile devices to be blamed. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 6:15 AM, the app was not accepting my pictures, causing me to be completely delayed in my pick up, late for work, and even being late for an entire day and having to use another day for my rental. The app was very stressful, and I highly recommend that nobody use it.

HECTOR PWe filled up the u haul to the specified amount of gas but still got charged. Very dissatisfied and won't be using this service/location again.
Cooper BTrailers need to be available at more locations. So many calls, texts and emails are sent during the rental it is mind boggling, distracting and unnecessary.

ADAM LGarien was great. Very helpful and courteous. Give that man a raise or a bonus or something. He went above and beyond hooking up the equipment to my truck.
Albert JVehicle had over 191,000 miles and was in a sorry state. Windshield washer INOP, battery nearly dead, resulting in hard starts. Averaged less than 7mpg and only hauled a plywood layout for 10 of 43 miles driven. Otherwise empty. Didn’t even engage tow/haul mode. Perhaps I was spoiled - I rented the same size Penske (actually it was bigger because the length included the entire box, not a “Mom’s Attic) the prior week and it was a far superior experience. I am a long time U-haul customer but won’t be returning any time soon. Time you upped your game.
Stylian CThe location was clean I was greeted by friendly staff, and there was absolutely no wait time, good service, friendly staff and I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family, no complain.
Philip BJulie was great and helped so much to get me going. One thing is if you want a electronic picture of a license you should accept a stored electronic file so there is no need for a picture by phone and also you need more trailer locations for the west area of Gainesville.

HARIJS Sthe auto trailer that was rented was loaded at location and hitch attached to the truck by a uhaul employee and while traveling we found that the straps had come undone from the loaded vehicle. thankfully no damage to my vehicle but it could've been very bad if my vehicle came off the trailer.
