Would have gave 5 stars but angels movers was set up for moving help and they no show and wouodnt answer phone calls. Very disappointing and stressful and to change trucks which uhaul was very helpful but had to drive across the state and move into the night we would of just planned to be there to move or got different movers that actually are a legit business. It all worked out but was really just unessary stress that could of been avoided. Please cancel this third party company from doing business with your customers I would for others to have to experience this

The employee we worked with was super nice and accommodating, but the first truck he gave us smelled badly of cigarette smoke (especially when we turned on AC!) and the truck he switched us to was dirty and smelled like rotting garbage. We went back home and got cleaning supplies and i cleaned as much of the cab as i could reach while we drove. That helped make the drive more tolerable for us, but the bed and mattress that we brought home in the back smelled like garbage too, so we put it in the garage - hoping the smell goes away!

I ordered a 15' but they saved a 29'. thankfully you had a capable employee to fix the problem. Wasn't aware gas tank was so large. Wound up filling tank 115.00. They use to be gas guzzlers . Only had a quarter tank. I filled the rest. 3 quarters of a tank. Only used 1 quarter. Not like I could siphon out half a tank. So I over spent by 76.00. I need another one in 2 weeks but too upset right now to do so. Even though it's not completely your fault. Im just not happy right now. Bet you wished you hadn't asked

The two girls I first saw were too busy chit chatting to help. One told me to walk to the far end of the check out booth. Only the one guy would help by acknowledging my return but wanted to inspect my truck later. IF he claimed damage, there would have been a dispute. The truck performed beautifully.

It’s a lot bigger than I thought, especially when I was pulling a flatbed behind it but once I get the hang of it, I was just fine. I do believe you should need a license or permit to drive this Big, it’s a freaking beast.

The people at the Grand Rapids U-Haul facility were very helpful. However, about 2/3rds through the trip - on the second day and nearing Texas in almost 100 degree heat, the air conditioning went out on the truck. When we got back, insult was added to injury by adding an add'l gasoline charge of $50 and a cleaning fee of $25. We had received the truck half full - we thought. We left it half full. We were told it had been 11/16th full. In addition, my husband was under the impression that there was not a fee for "folding the blankets." We did call and complain. We said that we were happy not to lodge a complaint with U-Haul about the air conditioning, if these minutea erroneous charges were removed. We were told that we should have called U-Haul as soon as the air conditioning went out and waited for service. First of all, we did not know that. We were not told and did not have time to read the fine print. Secondly, one of our drivers had business meetings the next morning on Monday. We could not afford a delay. We are very, very disappointed. The vehicle was clean, but apparently not well-maintained. We had an assumption of functionality when we rented the truck. Our two drivers suffered immensely in the heat. But, even that could have been forgiven if there had been any apology or courtesy when we dropped it off and mercy on the additional charges.

I had great customer service with the manager Lindsey. I believe that is her name. She was very helpful and everything seemed so easy, even though I was so stressed about moving. I really liked being able to leave the uhaul and come back for it with no issue. Since I had it for the day, I needed to leave it there for work and come back later for it. Even closed, she was informing me about how it was okay. Overall, I Liked how cheap uhaul prices are which is a plus but Lindsey was really helpful and great manager. Thank you!

The inside of our van was covered in dog hair. When we picked up at Sunday at 10am, one of the guys at the customer service desk never got up out of his chair and didn't stop telling a very personal story to his coworker while his coworker was trying to help us get our van. When we returned at 3:30 the same seated coworker never got out of his chair again and told us to go outside that his coworker would help us.

The fella who checked me out seemed underqualified. He couldn't find the drop off location in La Crosse and ultimately set me up to drop off in Winona MN. This caused me to make more phone calls to straighten everything out so I could drop off at my home location. I got charged extra for dropping off at the wrong location anyway. Not a big deal, but just unwanted frustration.

It was an overall average experience. The communication regarding pick up and drop off could have been handled better; I attempted to pick up through the mobile option, as indicated, but there was an unknown error, which was frustrating, and then there was not a clear time frame for drop off, so I wasn't sure if I was going to get charged or not because on the receipt it just said "2 days" and the same time for drop off as I picked up, but then it should say 48 hours instead of 2 days. Other than that, it went okay. There was a missing dolly in my truck upon pick up, but the attendant did grab one before I left the lot. So, ensuring everything is there prior to handing over they keys is important.

I reserved a ramped trailer, I needed a ramp to load a lawnmower. Unfortunately the left taillight didn’t work. So that trailer was replaced with an enclosed trailer of the same size, which worked out ok for me, I did have ramps at home which I took with me. If this was just a local run I’d have kept the ramp trailer, but I had a one way 10 hour drive to pick up my mower. Showed up just before closing time. The young lady that helped me was on the ball, had no problem getting me hooked up, and on the road.

The gentleman helping us was kind and professional. When we asked where to park the Ubox trailer, he wasn't very knowledgable but to be fair that wasn't his job. He offered to take care of it for us.

The staff was unaware of my request to pick up my U-Box and complained I only gave them 24 hr notice - which they hadn't noticed. They passed the buck on everything and took no ownership.
