The 'drop-off' procedure was difficult, confusing and the staff was unknowledgebale and rude. In fact, when the staff removed the trailer, the individual let it slam to the ground, somewhat in disgust. The pick-up procedure was excellent and friendly. The AM & PM staffing were different people, and it mattered.

This trailer needs work. The interior rails are detached from the trailer walls making it extremely difficult to secure a load. The door also was very difficult to raise and lower.

Awful, on the website and front door it says open Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm. I showed up at 11am Sunday…. Trying to return a truck, doors locked, no one there, no drop box… then 2 hours later I get 7 phone calls and multiple voicemails with threats about being charged an extra day with the truck!! How unprofessional is that? You don’t show up to work on time and then call and threaten people that if they don’t get the equipment back on time they’ll be charged an additional $500. Unprofessional, embarrassing, and ridiculous. I will never rent from or even do a simple return to this location again.

When we got there to pick up my truck the place was not open . Hours on the door said they opened at 9am but nobody came until 9:40. When I came to drop off my truck at 5:30 again the bldg was closed althogh hours on the door said they should be open. I was able to drop my truck off but there were people in the parking lot wondering why the place was closed. I will never rent from this location again.

Got there and waited an hour before anyone could help me. Put on 4 different tows before they got it on.The tow broke and damaged my car and I put in an incident report with no response. At the location 4128 Bardstown Rd, the place was packed and had one employee on the inside and a new employee on the inside, they said their GM left early ( they said quite often happens ) and I asked why they did not call him back, they said he would not come back and most of the time he is in the back playing on his computer and since he dated the President of U-Haul daughter, that nothing can be done. For once listen to my complaint ( 2nd time ) and take it seriously and fix the tow that broke with my car and created damage and delays, and quit ignoring this GM, which has his employees telling customers how bad he is, which they must really feel this way or why tell a customer. I need compensation for the broke tow, lost of time moving, which cost me extra because I had to get different mover, after I had already pre-paid for previous movers. CAN YOU PLEASE FOLLOW -UP this time !!!!

This location was the worse. Not only did they have me there 7am on a Sunday to do a self check in the their site allowed me to do no one was there. Had to come back at 9 to still wait 30 minutes for a truck. The gas was on a little less than 1/4 of a tank. Upon return the drop off was okay but I did put in a complaint about the otw. The manager did call gave me a courtesy refund but they charged my card for bringing the gas back on the level it was. I will never use haul again customer service sucks and false charges.

The lady at the desk could use more help. She was by herself at the counter and it was 6 deep. Not her fault at all and she handled the chaos very well. She was answering the phone, checking people in and grabbing vehicles. There needs to be two people there on weekends.

I could not reach anyone to change the reservation for a couple days leading up to pick up. When I did reach someone, they said the system was down. The app did not work for me. It took a long time to go through line for pick up. The truck had no air conditioner. I will be trying out enterprise rentals for future needs.

The gasoline meter does not work well. I drove 30 miles for this vehicle. When I return the vehicle I have to charge 3 gasoline, the meter did not move. After I charge another 2 gallons gasoline, the meter jumped to another level. This caused me to pay extra money.

Make sure the lights indicating maintenance requirements are met. Battery light and oil change lights on. Interior was very clean. Exterior not clean but given the time of year it is not a big deal.

The price quoted online was different than what I paid in store. I returned the truck early but the onsite team never checked it back in. I had to contact customer service twice to get them to finally check it back in and get my final receipt. Using the truck for my move was a breeze but dealing with the team members made it more stressful.

Only would recommend because of the amount of equipment available. Workers were polite, but seemed over worked. Truck was dirty in the cab. Dashboard was dirty, remnants of spills and old drinks still in cup holders. . Windshield has not been cleaned in a very long time.

Not happy about the price I ended up paying. While making my request online I was quoted around $47 after taxes, milage and fees. Once at the store my quote went up to around $50. The lady at the store could not tell me why. I understand its just a few dollars, however I wanted to pay the amount it said my reservation was for. I knew there could be extra charges because of milage overage. However after everything was said and done, my $19.95 rental ended up costing about $60. Not happy!

We have rented from this location multiple times and have always had a good experience. The one small challenge I see is that they seem to be understaffed, so wait times can be long, depending on what time you arrive. The app makes things a lot easier, but it could be improved, as it sometimes just seems to stop responding to inputs, and the interface sometimes makes it confusing about what to do next.

Door didn't close completely on the van. Tire sensor not working. They tell me to take pictures of the damage so I won't be charged. Shouldn't they take pictures, not me the renter. Personal conversation of lady behind the counter, I was embarrassed to listen to her. But I guess she didn't care if I heard about her young childs father, and much more I care not to write about

Unfortunately, we wasted our time and money. We rented a trailer to pick up a mower and specifically needed the 6 foot width. We chose the 6x12 trailer only for the opening to the trailer was estimated to be about 4x8. This was a false advertisement from uhaul corporate.

Employees seemed really busy. It was a snowy week. I rented a trailer but ended up cancelling it and taking a moving truck becuase the trailers were all stuck in snow. I made a reservation 24 hours in advance. I guess my recommendation for improvement is that if you know you have a reservation in the system a day in advance, make sure you have it ready to use when the customer arrives. The team at the store were friendly and helpful, but the systems seemed antiquated (reservation for a trailer could not be changed to a truck. Reservation had to be cancelled and the entire process started over).

2 times we went to unload our truck and both times we were blocked in and couldn't get the truck out. Cause the people returning trucks pulled straight in and locked trucks couldn't be moved. So that delayed us 2 nights of getting our stuff moved in which pushed our moving days up. Which intelled charged us more extra days of moving. That's the only thing I had to complain about other than that the people were nice the storage is nice just the fact that it was our fault I guess but just letting y'all know

My only issue was that I could never access my unit after business hours because it was always blocked by a truck. Even when I visited during business hours, it would sometimes take up to an hour to have someone move the truck blocking my unit so that I could access it. Towards the end of my stay, the phone lines to the office became rerouted to the automated system so it became even more difficult to get ahold of someone to move a truck. I planned on keeping my unit longer, but I couldn’t keep being unable to access it at convenience like I could at other locations.

They gave me a complimentary lock. That was amazing. Only problem I had was my storage has a hole in the side at the bottom. The office was closed when I scheduled to move in so I wasn’t able to talk to anyone about it. It’s pretty big and needs to be patched so that my things don’t get water damaged. Office staff was gorgeous and very helpful, they need a raise!

I had 24 hour access and on sevearl occausions i had to load my trailer on the side of the highway due to all of the uhaul trucks blocking the gate. that was a real inconvience due to my time being money.

The manager sold a faulty lock but did not give a refund when replaced. He called and said a month was paid already, then charged a late fee when it wasn't paid. I asked him repeatedly to have his manager call, but no one ever did. One day when they were short staffed, I waited in line nearly an hour for help.

When dealing with the people at this location it was TERRIBLE. Day one arriving to Kentucky I was treated so disrespectful I was shocked by the way I was being treated. I also only had 30 days for a free unit . I had to reach out to the 800 number as no one wanted to pick up my call . I sent several emails . Went over every email with the lady I spoke over the phone . She even agrees this is unreal how long for them to respond to me . Then hours later I get a email saying I owe $0.00 well yes I moved out over 30 days ago

No complaints, I was offered a free month of storage after a truck rental and that's what I got, no hidden fees, no gimmicks. Staff was straightforward and efficient, as was the entire process. Online move-out made the process painless. Couldn't be more satisfied and will use this location for any future needs even if it's not the closest.

We vacated our storage unit 8 days before the end of the paid month and told the staff. Still, we continued to receive emails demanding payment for the following month and threatening liens and other procedures if we didn't pay up. It wasn't until we went back and visited in person, again, that the situation got resolved. You need better communication and execution among the staff for situations like ours.

Jesus and his staff went above and beyond in assisting me and my family, despite the unfortunate situations I been through while from Washington state when I arrived The General Manager Jesus showed so much compassion and empathy, he listen to our issues and assured us that he will help and he kept his word.His staff supported his leadership as well as being committed to being a team player they we’re focused on helping the customer.If it was a question that has no answer they searched for solutions to make sure your needs were met, Watching another employee name Kathy work with a customer was amazing it shows that the leadership of Jesus the general manager is great and committed to developing a strong and strategic team to represent Uhaul as an upstanding company for the community and those you patronize the business.Job well done Jesus and the team at Bardstown Uhaul.

Terribke location. Never going to use for storage ever again. Uhaul never vacated me after spending 4 weeks basically calling them and being placed on hold. I can assure you if i have a balance on my record i will be contacting a lawyer because no one at that facility gives a hoot. No security gates stay open and they dont check the lot otherwise they would have seen an empty unit that i left them prior to my due date.

My original reservation was cancelled because they had no trucks. Rescheduled me and had to stand in a 2 1/2 hr line because they had no trucks. Luckily by that time somebody returned a truck. Still had to find the keys before I got to rent it. I was in line longer than I had the truck. Terrible experience. The Gm was the only person working in the store. The guys ours where new.

The lot gate doesn’t work and is always open. We all know how easy it is to pick locks. Little iffy. Everything else was great though. Great staff!

Every time I went in to make a payment on my storage unit, I waited at least 30 minutes to an hour every time. I waited so long once that the person behind the counter promised he would credit my account $25. But then he had “computer issues” and said that he would credit my card the next day. That credit never came. I mentioned it to someone the next month, and they said they would take care of it, but they didn’t. I gave up trying to get it back. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I’ll never do it again.
