Why y'all charged me $45 for fuel. When I pick the truck up the gas was almost on E and when I was done I put more fuel on it. This is really bullshit 😡😡😡😡😡

I was redirected to this location when the original one did not have the van I reserved. After arriving at the scheduled time, this location didn't have a van either, so I had to go with a 10 ft truck. In general, there seems to be a disconnect between Uhaul support and actual stores.

The equipment was not good One tire went flat before I left home. Tire was bald and had nails. Tread was worn off. Service came to replace and commented would have failed less 100 miles. Trailer also fish tailed very bad. WHY WAS I GIVEN A TRAILER THAT WAS DANGEROUS? Totally UNACCEPTABLE 👎😩 Another mistake. My paperwork listed number not same as on unit! Was NOT a good experience.

In the past when I come here, I have to wait forever, get somebody who isn't the nicest, wait in a long line, and spend an ungodly amount of time just checking out. However, the guy last night (didn't catch a name) was super nice, friendly, and I think I was there maybe 10-15 minutes total. Check out was quick. The truck seemed brand new. Everything was smooth as butter.

Even though I made a reservation, I had to wait in line for over 30 minutes. Of the several people working there, only one or two made much effort to work with customers. The van I rented was supposed to be returned with a quarter tank of gas but when the van was turned over to me, the tank was nearly empty. I had to spend a significant amount of money to put fuel in the van. Also, I rented an appliance dolly, but they tried to give me a utility dolly. I had to ask the person who brought it, to go back and get the correct one. The dolly had a broken weld and the van was very dirty, inside and out.

You key drop box should be on the same side of the building as the Return Lane. It was very hard to find at 10 pm

I always go through this location for my moving needs, and they always step up to the plate. Daniel was my main contact there this time, and he provided excellent service. Even though he may be starting, he was quick at getting me connected to my reservation and getting everything taken care of for me at pickup and dropoff. I also got great support from Chris, who helped make sure that the return level of gas was accurate, and from Rosemary, who helped me when urgently needed, down to the guy who came out to wash down the truck at return. Thanks to you guys, the always stress-full move, is so much less so because I know I can count on your great team of employees and clean trucks. UHAUL Teams ROCK!

The U Haul company experience was VERY UNSATISFACTORY! We made reservation week ahead to pick up at desired location & drop off at specific location. It was horrendous getting truck at desired & could not return to desired location. Did NOT like the text. Expected to deal with people in person. I don't think the location is the issue it's the company getting equipment to the locations as reserved.

Chris the Manager at the Bardstown facility was the most friendly, helpful and efficient staff member at UHaul I have ever encountered in all the years and different locations I have been to.

The van I reserved was not available since someone didn't return one from THE DAY earlier. It seems if they were that late that you guys would understand that it's missing and already have tried to contact the customer. I ended up getting a larger vehicle, a truck, that I was fortunately able to drive. I was on a strict schedule so I had to take that truck. I have not checked the charge and I am hoping that is only from the original price for the $19.99 van that I have planned on. I also swept and clean the inside before I returned it and checked in with the guy and took a picture of the mileage. Just doing these things since the mess up left a sour taste in my mouth for the experience. I would give them another chance but please work on these very important things. Giving people what they planned from their reservations is essential.

There were not enough employees on site to quick service customers. The online check in process was cumbersome and had redundancy that seemed unnecessary. Example- I included photos of my license twice and had to enter my credit card twice.

I brought my equipment back just after 9am this morning. I unhooked and placed the bike trailer back in the slot I got it from myself. I had to have it back just after 11am. I didn't receive a notice via email as I normally do. The worker assured me that I wouldn't be charged for another day. Still not sure

On the trip to my destinations I was in an accident. Do you always fine not damaged at all but my body needed time to heal from a severe concussion and fractured arm. I contacted corporate office explain the situation and they said for me to continue my trip whenever I could and whenever I was able to turn the U-Haul and we would negotiate proper payment. Instead when I reached my destination before I was able to turn the truck in the local U-Haul franchisee showed up at my hotel and repossessed my rental as well as all my personal belongings. He took the rental back to this location on Bardstown Road where it was promptly broken into lot cut off and emptied out of anything that Could be Carried by a person. They did not even inform me of this break in nor of my possessions being gone at all. I found out on my own days later when I came to move my stuff and it was all missing. Now I'm being told that the insurance I paid on the U-Haul and the storage unit does not cover any kind of theft so all of my stuff is gone and I received a bill for the “Repossession“ of over $1000 and a total bill of over $5000. No offers of help no phone calls no cooperation. So now I'm in a foreign state with no help and none of my family‘s belongings owing more money to U-Haul then I had to get into a house so I'm living with my children in a hotel because they cannot keep my stuff secure or even check the records to see that corporate had okayed the extension of time I had to return the rental.To say that I am dissatisfied would be an injustice to say that I am mortified would be more accurate this is the worst experience I've ever had with a corporation hands-down.

The check in process for TruckShare online was confusing at best and frustrating at worst. What could have taken 5 min to check in took 25 min. I had to scan my drivers license 4 times before the rental and then had to have it scanned 2 more times before they let me rent the truck for 1.5 hours. Cautious, sure... annoying, definitely.

All the service is excellent, but there is a slight mismatch when returning the cars; It is not known where to deposit the vehicle, in my last rental I walked around the whole workshop and all the workers saw me and nobody stopped me to tell me where I had to deposit the vehicle.

Make sure the equipment is there Im order was rescheduled twice and to a farther location. Because when I went to pick what I needed it wasn't there. It inconvenienced me so I was rushing to get stuff done.

We've never dealt with the Bardstown Rd., KY location in all the years we have been customers of U-Haul. FYI-The attitude of management and co-worker was negative*. He assumed I had a smart-phone and was tech-savvy. I felt pressured and very unsure sometimes what he said. We'll probably choose a competitor next time we rent..

Going to the DMV is more enjoyable than renting from the Bardstown Road Uhaul location. Overall customer service experience was not good. It's like you're invisible. You stand there waiting to be helped and there are two reps sitting there doing nothing. They don't even acknowledge that they see you. Finally, after a long, uncomfortable period of time you get helped. This would have been a one star review if not for the guys outside that hooked up and then unhitched the equipment. Uhaul is lucky that they don't seem to have much competition when it comes to trailer rentals.

Every time I went in to make a payment on my storage unit, I waited at least 30 minutes to an hour every time. I waited so long once that the person behind the counter promised he would credit my account $25. But then he had “computer issues” and said that he would credit my card the next day. That credit never came. I mentioned it to someone the next month, and they said they would take care of it, but they didn’t. I gave up trying to get it back. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I’ll never do it again.

The only reason I did not give an excellent rating was an employing told me I had to close out my storage rooms in person, which was difficult due to this storage rental being for an out of town move.
