Very happy with the service at this location. However the process of placing a reservation was horrendous, I place an order @ 9:30 AM, only to adivse me at 11:00 AM that equiment order was beign re-routed to another location, only to find out the oterh location was closed thus a call to the U-Haul hkep line to assist, thus getting my order re-routed to this location in Fayettville, which the service manager was extremely courteous.MICHAEL K.

This site didn't have a dolley i paid for and it wasnt taken off the bill and when i ordered online the pickup was a closer location to my house and no one told me about the change in pickup until i called to make sure it was available. Moving is stressful and this added to it and i had to pay for more miles because the site was changed.Terri B.
After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes I was finally able to return the uhal but I was transferred to this uhal location. This was not my original drop off location. The whole experience with Uhal was very bad and I will never rent from Uhal again.Deandre S.
I wanted a car dolly, they only had one person working the front desk on a Saturday at opening. There were 9 people in front of me I stood 45mins in line waiting for my turn. While 4-5 other employees stood outside. Then went out and went thru 4 different trailers looking for one with working lights. I had to pick them up and move them as the attendant was busy on His phone. Saying it was my truck and not the equipment. After finding one that worked (so clearly not my truck) I Stood back in line for another 25-30mins just to switch the trailer numbers on my paperwork. The safety chains were rusted, the finders here cracked on both ends. The trailer over all was rusted and suspect but I needed to move this car and hour north. So I took it. The best part of my trip was when I got to drop it off. Now that location where I dropped off was GREAT, Quick easy and friendly. ðŸ¤·ðŸ¾â€â™‚ï¸DERRICK G.

Yes I would recommend them if you haul learns how to answer their phones when their customers are calling to let them know that they did take all their belongings out of the unit and that the lock was still there but they want to charge you $117 but they won't answer the phone so that you can let them know when you work everyday and they're closed by the time you get home to inform them that the unit was empty and that they could have taken or cut the lock off if they needed to but nobody answered the phonestacia M. | Overall Experience

1. Not happy that my reservation was moved from another location to this location. 2. The parking lot is ridiculous I scrapped the bottom of my car exiting because of how high the have the entrance and exit. 3. The miles on my vehicle were off by 15! The app was useless when I tried to update the mileage so a lot attendant wrote it on my paper for me.Brent R.

Refund customers for their gas if they accidentally over fill. No one explained that when you rent the uhual, that you will not be refunded for gas if you go over. They only explained that you will have to pay if you don't fill to where it was when you rent the uhual. So not cool. The locks are extremely hard to open and close. It's too hot to sitting outside trying to open a lock for a key. You have a long walk to pick up your uhual. I recommend using a different uhual service unless this is your only option and you no choice.WHITNEY C.

I had a horrific experience with this past rental. I scheduled a pickup truck rental on a Sunday evening @5:30 pm. I was to use the U-HAUL phone app for this transaction. The use of this app to complete the transaction was a horrible failure. 1- the app shit down in mid check out. 2- there was ZERO support from UHual! 3- I was onsite trying to complete this transaction for over 2 hrs and still was not able to contact help from customer support and could never get a key code to unlock a drop box to retrieve a key. 4- I was still charged for the rental and shown to have possession of the vehicle even though I did not. I am very disappointed and angry about Uhauls ability to take care of me as a customer.TIMOTHY P.

I've picked up a moving truck before, but they've always had the truck parked in front of the building with the equipment I reserved in it. They had to go get a dolly, then come back to finish the paperwork. When I got the keys I had to go by the street and go get it myself. My issue was they gave me a truck with another truck parked behind it, so I had to go back into the store to get someone to move it so I could get out. The paperwork I was given about the fuel was inaccurate, so when I did online turn in there was a slight issue. I had to wait for someone to come in the next day to compare pictures and close me out. There were a lot of little issues that were annoying when I was trying to just pick up and leave.MICHAEL W.
Outside employees checking in vehicles were inattentive. Had to go find them sitting in a uhaul truck together on thier phones. My rental had a bald tire. Rental was grimy inside. The store as a whole needs to communicate better and don't treat your customers way better then they do I have been in customer service for 20 years and I have never been somewhere that will cancel your reservation because you wanted to go outside and make a phone call to make sure everything would be okay and then when you finally booked the truck and you come back to get the dolly for your car they're not going to double charge you for something you were already charged for him was told you were charged for and be very rude I should not have had to pay 300 and $400 to rent a truck and a dolly for my car and have to pay the same charge over plus they don't give you your equipment like your Dolly until you come back and ask for it later on in the day so no I will not be recommending this store to anyoneTAMMY F.

I reserved a 15' truck and transport trailer to be picked up on 25 June 2021. I was told the day prior I had to pick up at another location 45 minutes away. I drove to that location in Sanford, NC and my reservation was canceled. I was sent away with a promise that I'd be contacted on 26 June 2021 with a pick up location. The location I was provided was 75 miles out of the way in another state and they only had the 15' truck. I had to drive back to the original location in Fayetteville, NC to get the auto transport. This cost me invaluable and irreplaceable time and fuel expenses.RONALD J.

The wait time is unbelievable! I stood in line over 45 minutes. Representative that helped was rude! I requested an appliance dolly but upon my arrival I was told that the last one was rented. No other suggestions were given. The tank was under 3/4 tank of gas. I fell getting in in the truck. The outside assistant told me it was slippery due to the cleaning. He did apologize. The guy at the equipment drop off was texting on his phone the whole time, never said one word to us, and had us try and back in a vehicle trailed with no assistance ground guiding. I was pleased with my selection of Uhaul for storage. It was a pleasant surprise to see the unit and its size. I have more than ample room to store my belongings. My bill was due in the 22nd of every month. I was able to secure a rental property moving my furniture on the 26th (4) days later to be billed for another month. That is unacceptable plus no at this location is never able to answer the phone. The call center can’t help problems at a particular location. No I would recommend nor use U-haul in the future. I was involved in an auto accident earlier in the year and advised U haul management that I was not able to pay the full unit rental and asked to be but into a smaller unit after a caught the payments up on the first unit. I did so and they didn’t put me in a smaller unit. I just got out the hospital 4 days ago and answered an email in what my intentions were and I asked to make a partial payment and they refused to except that. Than they expressed other alternatives prior to auction and they never offered that as well. So my unit was sold and there was an overage which was due back to me. When I went to see the store manager Ms Kim she was rude and telling me that there was no credit due back to me when in fact there was because the letter clearly stated such credit. She made a big deal of it stating that she didn’t have the cash or she didn’t know how to do a credit. At the end of it she said the corporate office would half to send a check by mail which is fine but why did I half to come and spend an hour in the store for you to tell me this. I tried to call the store several times prior to going into the store. No one answered and I kept getting the stores voice mail. So not a good feeling dealing with U Hall at all. So there are a couple of things here I would like to say. While the help I received was good, it took forever to get said help. I waited for 45 minutes before seeing the only rep behind the counter (2 days in a row on 09 and 10 Nov). Then on the second day after receiving my card to access the storage I had to wait for it to activate, I was unaware of this. So I tried to access the gate without luck and then went back inside to wait 20 more minutes to be let in by the rep. Also I was not briefed and am not sure how payments occur for storage. Like if it is all auto payments, or if I will be paying for 1st and last month, or need to pay monthly at the location. If that is the case I only need the unit for 2 months and need to end my contract now. So I will also need to read the contract in full to see if these questions are answered there.
