Truck had oil leak. Leaked on new driveway. Not a little leak. The telephone checkout was worthless. Still had to go inside as normal since no keys in truck.Brian S.
The only problem was that the key didn't work well at all. I think the representative told me it was re-keyed, but it just didn't really work and you just had to wiggle it a long time to get it just right. I'd recommend re-keying it again, or taking that truck out of service.Benjamin D.
I went to pick up truck and Car hauler and it was not at location and I was told they didn't have available. I booked reservation several weeks ago and had a conformation email from the U-Haul location. I spent several hours on phone with different people at U-Haul trying to resolve. My reservation was for 9am at @ 2:30 pm I received a call back stating I could pick up a truck across town then drive to another location and pick up trailer. Instead of leaving for Florida @ Noon we didn't leave until 7pm which through our schedule way off. We had a hotel halfway to stay overnight, missed that ( now I'm dealing with them trying to get a credit, had to find another hotel etc. Needless to say I'm not happy with our experience. I was told for the issues I would get a credit of $50.00 however when I mentioned this to pick up and drop off they had no idea and I didn't receive. I will try another company in the future.DAVID G.

The trailer I rented said it was 6 ft wide and while the trailer inside is 6ft wide, the entry point to the trailer has a lip on both sides making the entry point of the trailer MAYYYBE 5ft wide. I had to take your trailer back and was not able to use it at all. I had to hire another trailer that was actually 6 ft wide. The store location did not care when I returned the trailer. One month ago I reserved a 26 Ft truck for 24 hrs. Because I didn't pick up right at my scheduled time, they gave my truck to someone else without notifying me. Luckily someone else eventually dropped off their 26 ft truck and I was able to use it but only until 2:30, not 24 hrs. I wish they would at least have attempted to contact me before giving up my reservation because I was able to come earlier if needed and would have come right away. For the record Trent (I think that was his name) hustled hard to look for an available truck for me and I appreciate that.ANDREW H.

I have no issues with the location. The employees were courteous and helpful. I had a horrible experience with the online system. I checked in ahead of time and had all of my information input and arrived at the vehicle for the final steps. At that time the system failed and would not allow me to finish the transaction. I then had to go into the location, wait in line and provide all of the same information that I had input previously. The employees indicated that this happens a lot and they wish that U-Haul would stop offering the online check in. Either offer it and get it right or don't offer it all.Mark M.

Didn't drive well at all. Steering was a bit off but seemed like problem with engine. They assured me that the dolly was in the truck when I got to the location realized it wasn't and needed to help move all my sons heavy contents. Charges were much more than expected. Didn't dare try to fill up since truck wasn't operating well and was told that would be an addl $30 plus approx $5 per gallon. Call to discuss any more details.Kathryn A.

The layout was a lie, there is no easy access to the 2nd or 3rd floor. The units doors don't even go to the ground, so our goal or storing a piano was quickly met with failure. We didn't even bother breaking that tag of the storage unit we just left and requested our contract be canceled. I was told by the phone reservationist the facility had a freight elevator to move my furniture to the 3rd floor, so I accepted a third floor unit. When I got to the facility, I learned there was no elevator in the facility. When checking in, the service agent didn’t appear how to input data into the computer. He kept making mistakes and had to redo most items. When I asked if this basic info was in the system because I provided it when I made the reservation. He responded, “ Don’t get me started about the call center.” My movers were waiting to unload their truck and were getting quite impatient. They estimated my fee based on time and had not allowed for a 30 minute check in at the storage unit. humidity control (musty,, mildew) is understandably sub-optimal on units with outside walls; single dehumidifier for large square foot facility - more of a facility design issue (U-Haul corporate vs. local management); less of a problem for units central to building Bill Meguschar. and staff do a fine job - good service, friendly, helpful, work to resolve any issues and in general a pleasure to do business with; would recommend to others and use in the future cost increases were regular and not as price competitive as some, but I utilized the facility for longer than expected (ended up with 2 units @$150, $300/mo total for over a year) so this was inevitable many thanks, Bill EllisonWILLIAM E. | Overall Experience

The unit I was shown to had thin plywood walls with water stain about three inches up. Additionally there was standing water outside of the storage unit by the entrance. I was not about to leave my furniture there! The helpful staff found me another U Haul storage facility not too far away that was newer and had cleaner storage. That worked out for us.
