Very nice and easy to take out
Rajendraprasad PGary and the whole team that works in the morning are the absolute best. They were all very courteous and helpful. On the contrary, the two ladies that worked the evening shift (at 5pm) were not. They were more involved in gossiping and eating than helping us. After we gave them the keys to check the truck, we stand in front of them for a while and they not even bothered to let us know that we were done. We had to ask them again if everything was good and then they said: oh yeah, you are done long time ago. (Like the if we were not standing in front of them). Very bad customer service mainly from the one that checked us out.
Elzebir VCustomer service was excellent. The Cargo Van that was rented to me stunk so bad like cat pee. When I started my rental, online.it never stated that I needed a Credit Card it allow me to put my debit card information. Some how they should post it when going through the process of renting.
NATACHA TI was really disappointed when they delivered a truck to me with a broken rearview mirror, putting me and other drivers in danger throughout the journey. It made it impossible for me to change lanes, significantly increasing the possibility of having a traffic accident.

Why couldn’t that have been done initially and save me the time and stress
Marta DEither the customer gave you the wrong email address or your associate copied it down wrong. I got all of the receipts, which include the customer’s name, address, and phone number, among other information. Fortunately I’m not the kind of person that will use it for nefarious purposes.

TODD MI rented the truck for a day, then extended the rental until just 10am the next morning and I had to pay as much as the entire first day; this seems very excessive. I am a single mother, on a budget, and was not expecting to need the truck more than a day, so this added expense was quite shocking.
KATRINA HJosh stayed in the rain ensuring I was taken care of. There was no attitude. I was watching his facial expressions throughout because it matters to me. His overall professional demeanor was outstanding, as well as the young lady who assisted with the paperwork.

It took a long time to change out truck and they gave the wrong receipt. My card just got cancelled today due to a false change from the U-Haul company when the bill was already taken care of.

SEAN EI’m very disappointed with U Haul completely: first, quality control the service did not check the passenger side mirror it was very loss making a safety hazard for me. Secondly, I was redirected three times do to construction circumstances beyond my control taking different routes taking me miles off course. There’s only 78 miles from Orlando to Ocala well within the 90 free miles given. Thirdly, call customer services for help was a joke I was transfered from on customer service personnel to another trying to explain the situation but to no avail.

I thought this is the best experience I ever had until the drop off with a young kid with red and his hair Was super rude. Spoke to me like I was a child, and was very unprofessional. I think this person needs to be dealt with for future customer service experience but, overall I was extremely pleased up until the drop off.
LOREN MBefore returning the truck, I put in gas exactly the miles I used, and they charged extra fees. This is not an honest company. I do not recommend it. I used 35 miles and they charged me for 120 miles of gas. Dishonest company! I spend 2 gallons they charge me 8.8 gallons.

Emilia OSo when I did my reservation yesterday (Thursday) and i got the quote, they charged me more per mile when i actually went to pickup the truck, stating that since its now Friday it costs more. There should be a message or something advising of this because it was an extra $20. Then even though i reserved an appliance dolly, they didn't have one so i opted for a furniture dolly, but when i got the truck he told me there were no more dollys and i had to go back inside to get it taken off. Lastly, i had to wait more than 20 mins outside in 100 degree weayher while 9 months pregnant waiting for the truck. Overall the people were nice but the worst uhaul experience I've had

Betsy M2nd time here & customer service is still lacking..the conversation about a another employee who "tried to fight customers" took way more precedence over me picking up my rental. Customers don't need to hear whatever in-office gossip or negative situations you have going on. Then I go outside to wait for the rental to be brought around; standing in the hot sun for the gentleman to come back 10 minutes later and tell me the truck that was behind me was my assigned rental. I understand dealing with the public can be a very difficult job but, just because you provide a service that a lot of people need does NOT give you the right to deliver poor Customer service. The first time I came to this location in March it was as if I was bothering the young lady at the desk then. I've learned my lesson.

joan r | First ImpressionsI have had this unit for four years. It is in Florida. I live in Tennessee...I had not been there since I had moved in. About 2 years ago I was called by a manager and told my lock did not meet their standards and they would be changing the lock. I think the person calling me was Nate but I cannot be sure. I have no record of the action. I went to move out of my unit and get the key that I was told was secured in the UHaul office. It was not. Mel was very helpful and told me the lock on my unit was indeed a UHaul lock but she didn't know where the key was. I tried to cut the lock off but could not. Mel contacted her manager. I found him to be extremely un-helpful and told me I would have to call a locksmith to enter the unit (on a Sunday..at MY expense. Basically called me a liar and said if I damaged the door I would be charged. I had flown in, rented a hotel room and a car to retrieve my belongings. I found the manager rude, unempathetic and condescending. The entryway door was broken...causing quite an inconvenience in removing my items. The security gate was broken. There was garbage everywhere and overall looked like little to know upkeep is ever done. I would never recommend this facility to anyone and probably will not recommend UHaul at all because of their management staff. I complained via the website about the manager....and was told to contact...the manager! The very person I had issues with. Really? I expect to be reimbursed for at least 1/2 of the locksmith fee...or $75 including tax. Please let me know where I should send that bill. I don't feel I should be held responsible for the incompetence of the manager and his inability to perform his duties.
