I usually use Jefferson Avenue location. I booked a trailer through them. However due to an error on Uhaul’s part I had to go to Lynn to get the trailer. This did not make me happy. It worked out but I had to go out of my way to make it happen. NOT HAPPY about this.

We were originally meant to pickup from Jerrferson Street location in Salem. The staff member was rude and our reservation was not honored. He offered no other solutions when the truck we reserved in July was given to someone else. If Lynn didn't just happen to have the same truck we would not have been able to complete our move.

U-Haul moving the pick up location a day before after ordering 3 months prior was very disappointing. It added at least 2 hours to the moving experience. It was additionally irritating not to be able to return the trailer to the original pick up point. A long queue at pick up with only one person at the counter for most of the time didn’t help either. As this is probably the busiest time of the year for moving rentals, that looked like bad planning.

The staff at this location were incredibly friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and super helpful. The woman who is helping me answered all of my questions made sure I knew what I was doing. She was friendly and kind, and an all-around great person. In today’s world people are constantly in a rush or they don’t wanna work. They don’t wanna be there. This young woman was just amazing! And she was also working the day. I returned my trailer and asked me personal questions about how my trip went and how the move-in went for my daughter. She remembered everything. Not many people pay attention to Details anymore. Look forward to doing business with you guys again.

The manager Joahana and her staff are very professional, efficient and respectful. We continue to be delightful in having them at this location for this long. Their consistency in serving us for the period they have should not go unnoticed.

Please have enough employees to assist customers. It’s never feasible to have one employee scheduled on a Saturday morning when you have many reservations, it’s not fair to put that kind of stress on your employee! Johann was amazing under the pressure!

The truck was not available at the original location Salem MA where my reservation was made. The staff was helpful to locate another truck at another location. But this was very inconvenient as we were moving out of one place and into another on the same day. We lost a lot time on this day.

I used the app to pick up truck and when following the steps it wouldn’t record the taking of the pictures of the truck and would not let me move on with the rental. It was lucky that the office was open and they provided the information that I needed to take the truck

The two young ladies who work there were kind and explained things well. Whole experience was seamless and no issues..just a suggestion: this wasn't an issue for me because I'm used to driving large vehicles but other customers might benefit from some education on how to position the mirrors. Not complaining just explaining 😃

As for booking it was very easy to book online. One suggest I would give is if you know a truck is being rented, staff should be sure there is gas. When I picked up my rental I had a quarter of tank of gas.

Front desk wasn’t friendly, unhelpful, don’t feel welcome. She’s was ignoring me about danger tow dolly. I was there for 3 hours waiting for roadside to help me with my car and towing dolly. I will not come this location and never invite no one come there.

Your manager in Lynn is EXCEPTIONAL! I have had several reservations with the Lynn facility and EVERY time , the manager is professional, organized and gracious! I have rented from Saugus, Peabody and Chelsea but will only to Lynn because the manager always goes above and beyond! I am 63 and a business owner , this woman is the epitome of a company representative! This woman deserves national recognition and I am NOT kidding

The location had a huge miscommunication on their end when I asked if it’s possible on dropping the veh off at a different location. Although it’s possible with trucks it wasn’t possible with the cargo vans. Supervisor at the site was focused on other things when the associate was helping me but then again proceeded to ask the supervisor if it was okay for me to do so not knowing what vehicle I was going to be renting out. Coming towards the end of my time with the rental I dropped it off at a different location as I was told that I could do. Noted that no additional charges were addressed to me prior to renting out the cargo. Store charged me $200 extra for dropping a vehicle off at a different location in which the supervisor told me I could do not knowing that I had rented out a cargo van not a truck. Now they are refusing a refund due to their miscommunication on a sale that was conducted by an associate who was told the wrong information by their supervisor. Very disappointing experience. Especially since I’ve never had any problems prior to this incident.

Hello, there! When I got to this location, the staff member was extremely rude. She told me that I had missed my reservation and that they did not have another truck or van available. Then, she left me talking by myself and went to help another client. While she was taking care of the other client, I managed to reserve another van over the app with no difficulties. It would be advisable to train employees to treat all customers with respect and attention. Thank you!

I rent from you folks constantly, at least a couple of times a month. The manager at the Lynn store is outstanding. I've been to the Salem & Saugus stores on occasions when Lynn didn't have what I needed. You couldn't pay me to do business with the Salem, obnoxious every time I have had to go there, last time I postponed my plans just to avoid dealing with Salem. Saugus not as bad, but Lynn is excellent. Do what you can to keep your existing manager, she's the difference.

UNDERSTAFFED!!! the phone was not answered any time i called. There was only one person working, I waited too long upon pickup- it was over 20 minutes, and you already had my money! that was MY rental time. Drop off was no better. it's not the employee's fault that this corporation has cheaped out and doesn't care about the value of the money we spend on services like this. ridiculous. I'll rent a pickup and take ten trips next time.

Rats and mice ruined everything/ not sure what rat or mice but there droppings were everywhere, and I’m not paying a company as big as IU-Haul $140.00 monthly for storage thinking my stuff would be the same way I left it 8-9 months prior to finding out my belongings was ruined.

The unit i got was a 8x8. Its more like a 8x4. Horrible head space. Employees were not so friendly. I had to drive 25 mins to another uhaul storage just to continue to get bad service. I will not recommend and I will be getting my things out asap.

I was not aware that the unit I was renting could only be accessed by step ladder. I had some very heavy items and it was extremely difficult to carry everything up a flight of stairs.

I had two storages. One at uhaul (2 1/2 years) and one at public storage (4 months). The day I rented the storage till the very end, my boyfriend and I were treated with nothing but kindness. They go above and beyond expected customer service. 5 Stars! Public Storage you pay more and get the worse customer service (cold and detacted). Just trying to get into my storage was always a hassel, broken elevators and carts.

During my storage stay at the uhaul in Lynn on the Lynnway was excellent I had the pleasure of working with Jamie McPherson she went above and beyond to help me and make sure their service was great for me while I was going through a hard time. The storage unit was okay. But the back wall was broken by the adjacent unit's stuff. It was not filthy. The unit itself had no lighting. It was hard to see in. Frustrated to have to buy a new lock.

I cancelled both the storage and the truck rental on September 6, 2018 so ended up not using uhaul services. We did not move. All contact with Lynnway uhaul services was vey professional.
