I initially wanted a 10 foot truck, one that sat right in front of me, but they claimed they had none. I had to rent a 15 foot for double the price for a total of 20 miles and they charge meDo you $2.95. The equipment had a horrible swerve and I nearly killed myself on route 40. When we dropped it off, we informed the employee about the front end and he did nothing. We watched him as he pulled it back into the parking lot of Trax. I would not recommend U-Haul.

Upon arrival, unit had not been swept out and dead roaches were present. Staff did let me borrow a broom to sweep out. During our near 2 month stay, we caught one roach, which is not bad at all, but also caught one mouse, which I'm glad the wife didn't see. I felt the facility was secure, but punching in a code every time between trips in the truck was a bit annoying. Overall, not a bad experience.

I was a little surprised when I arrived where I was going, and finally looked at my phone, to see that I was supposed to look over the truck for damage. I mean, I know that's common... but I totally forgot (don't do this a lot) and I hadn't been reminded to look at that text before I left the location. Thankfully there was no problem, but it gave me a moment of anxiety that it would be nice to save other renters by making sure the staff points that out. Everything else about the experience was smooth and excellent. The only other thing I have no way of checking is that our GPS said the trip would be 50 miles roundtrip and when we got the truck back it read 70. We both felt that was very strange, given that we took the exact route the GPS told us to take, and didn't add any side trips. Perhaps there's a decent explanation, but it made us wonder if something is not quite right with the odometer and/or wheel size that would add more miles to the readout. Obviously since there is a per-mile charge, that's a concern. Thought I'd mention it. Thanks.

Have gas in truck it was to close to empty, glad gas station was close. If brought back empty U Haul should go put gas in them. I know they charge people for bringing them back empty,so you should go put gas in them. Isn't that why you charge them.

When I dropped off my trailer the person at U haul just stood there and watched me disconnect the trailer and lift it up. Not a huge deal but very poor customer service!

Don't accept online reservations if you don't have the rental available. At least call and notify me prior to showing up instead of waiting until I show up and am on a time frame. Poor communication but was able to come up with a solution.

...the on line didn't explain the circumstances for the change of our pick up location...we found out the "why" after going to our original place who explained there wasn't an available vehicle...otherwise the locations in St. Louis and here in MT. Juliet have been helpful in explaining and offering assistance...

On line promised an appliance dolly. None when we got there. Had to drive 20 miles out of my way to get one. Owner of the franchise was GREAT in helping. UHaul on line needs to be fixed.

Staff was great. Location wonderful. Equipment is trash. Truck was frightening to drive. Steering wheel was sloppy at best. The truck pulled depending which tire hit a bump or dip in the road and with the sloppy wheel engagement, it felt like you were skating on ice. It was the same with and without a load. Fingers crossed I won't have to move for a handful of years. Not sure I'll be over the trauma if I have to get behind the wheel of one of those again any sooner.

Terrible experience. Tried to change account details several times but they kept getting it wrong. Booked a van and was sent a U-Haul PROMISE that was not delivered upon, had to go many miles out of our way to get the van that we had a booked confirmation for. Will not use this facility again.

Double check the light's. After the sales rep hooked trailer up and performed a light check. He said all was good, but I noticed license light was inop. He replaced the bulb and then all was good. Other than that, he had me outta there in no time. Thanks!

I had really bad experience using u-haul I reserved a 26” truck from location when I went to pick it up they said we don't have Truck's available Let us transfer your reservation to different location they have it after I went there 20 miles away I found out they missed up the pick time 10:30 pm instead of 10:30 am and I have movers waiting on me by my house so I asked for any truck available any were else I had to drive 26 more minutes to pick up ugly old truck un safe to be on the road was shaking like crazy I wanted to throw up after the return while they had almost brand new truck sitting on there lot when I asked to switch for the newer one they said it's reserved Obviously it was not because it stayed there the whole day while it I'm was on un safe truck on the road

Online check in process was horrible. System said I was approved and then when I got ready to go get my key it told me I wasn't approved to go inside. I went inside the store and Rep said yes it was approved Also mileage was wrong rep said he corrected it. At Online return check out I noted mileage discrepancy In comments yet was charged full miles anyway. Truck cab seat And bed tailgate was dirty /muddy? And truck had an odd “animal” smell Covered by strong air freshener. I was hauling furniture so dirty bed was a bit upsetting

When I drop off my vehicle i was backing up to unload the car off the auto trailer. I then realized it was ripping off my cadillac bumper. I asked the employer to help he said no he said he was not liable. I then asked him if they have wood to lift the tires and he said he was unable to give me a piece of wood. I'm very disappointed with uhaul for informing me from the start that this would happen. Now I'm stuck paying $1000 to fix the damage since uhaul wont. I will never use them again. I'm sure I'm not the first person this has happened too.

While the gentleman who helped me reserve my unit was very helpful and friendly, the one who moved me out was unfortunately not. His answers were short and he didn’t seem to want to be bothered. He was very unenthusiastic about his job. I’ve used this facility before and could have sworn there was a proration of rent if you moved out early; yesterday while I was mid-question, he cut me off saying “they don’t prorate.” It’s frustrating because we were just billed roughly 3-5 days ago and basically had the whole month left. That part isn’t his fault but his attitude and delivery of information to customers could use some attention.

I rented two 26' vans, and wanted to pick both of them up at this location (I have used this location a few times before, and like it). We had to go to another location to pick up the second van, which caused a time delay for us. Much worse was the fact that this van, with only 25,000+/- miles was leaking oil all over the street in front of my house. I crawled up under the van to see the source, and it was a loose oil filter!! So I tightened it and checked the oil level, which was at 3/4 capacity--OK. Overall I am happy with the equipment, but don't like the hassle of having to traverse all over the place to get it.

I've used Uhaul for over 15 years and never had any problems until this time. I had a blow out on I 75. As it turns out I had both tires on the left rear blow out almost causing me to wreck. This happened because the tires were recaps that came apart. If Uhaul can't afford to put good tires on the vehicles then I will no longer use this company

I forgot my mask and was asked to go back out and get one which I did. Than I came back in and 2 females are being waited on without a mask. I commented, so selective about who has to wear a mask. Your sales person Alex, said ,I can't ask them to leave if they have a medical condition, then he said, don't come in here like you know everything Mr. knows it all. I asked for his name and he ignored me. The manager came in and he informed of his name and apologized. He also stated any complaints would come to him so it doesn't matter. So I guess we will see. But for now, I'm all in on Penske!

It's been many years since I've rented a U-Haul and honestly I was expecting a negative experience. From my foggy memory, I recalled cold impersonal interaction, such as “here's the price, here's the truck, if you don't like it, tough luck”. But I was surprised by how friendly everyone was that I interacted with and it was several people. Moving is easily the most stressful experience most people do. And while this location was EXTREMELY busy, when they would interact with you they made sure they gave you their full attention and thoroughly explained everything while providing options. I feel like that people are so quick to give feedback when they aren't happy so I wanted to make sure I shared my very positive experience. U-Haul has a great group working for them in Mt. Juliet! From my reservation, to picking the truck up and even turning it back in, every gentleman I felt with was genuinely pleasant! Thank you!

Our rental unit was not swept,out, had dead cockroaches, and mouse droppings in the well of an interior wall. I was was expecting a lot more, as far as cleanliness from "indoor climate controlled" storage facility. I told an employee there and he stated that he never goes into the storage units and gave me the managers card. Matter of fact the pile we swept out, was still there today. I know that the business can't control what is brought in and it's impossible to be pest free, but this unit should have been inspected before move in.

Online rental process was easy and fast. I was surprised at the cost being a little higher than expected. When I arrived, my unit had a lock on it. Luckily the manager was there and he quickly moved me to a new unit. The checkin and main door entry process was a little complicated but nothing a little practice can’t help.
