Website would not allow me to check-in. I installed the app against my better judgement and it also proved to be a waste of time and would not allow check-in.
BRIAN SI didn’t have an overall bad experience however whenever i had a question it was always difficult getting a hold of anyone at the office location, it would be great if there was someone dedicated to storage. Especially during busy days.

Jaryn TI had a very good experience with U-Haul for my recent move to Clarksville. The process was seamless from start to finish, and everything went as planned. The truck was clean, well-maintained, and easy to drive. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed for a smooth move. This was my first time moving out on my own, and U-Haul made it much less stressful. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable moving services.

ILIR VI was clearly overcharged. I should have been instructed to rent the truck based on .79 cents a mile but was instead given a flat rate which made the bill more than $200 over. Terrible. I won’t rent again.

ARON MI rented a truck on 12/20 after renting the same type of truck on 12/18. When I drove off i noticed that there was only a little over half a tank instead of 5/8's. I took a picture of it assuming it would be proof if needed. I drove 16 miles the same route as using the truck on the 18th put $4,01 worth of fuel for the 16 miles and returned the truck. I told the person that was there the fuel was listed right and that I had taken the picture. When i got home and saw the receipt from my email, there was an $8.50 fuel charge. I called and basically was told "i should have clicked on the link to correct the mileage". So yall are basically screwing me and yourself for charging me $8.50 to make a rules point to me instead of resolving a customer issue. You were the one that shorted the fuel listed on the form and I am paying for it so thanks for the many times i have used you guys. Not going to use you again so enjoy your $8,50!!!!!

BOB JMy one frustration was arriving home to find a text instructing me what to do before leaving the rental location. Nothing was mentioned about that, and it was disconcerting to see it say I might be held responsible for and damage found if it was not documented before leaving UHaul. I then tried to follow the app’s directions and take pictures, and it was very finicky, tomó e picture, then refused to let me post any more. Finally it said my time was up, and shut down. Thankfully I was apparently not held responsible for the scratches/cracks on the box (I did take pictures and saved them to my phone of the damage, Justin case), but it was a very unsettling experience to be put in that position by a failure of the employee to give me any warning or instruction about a text coming. I did find it strange he just walked away without doing the usual walk around to document damage, but didn’t even consider the possibility of a new system of text and app. Perhaps he just forgot. But better training to ensure customers understand the process would save some a lot of anxiety. I had always found this location helpful, so I trust it was a one-off—we all have our less than perfect days. Thanks.
Robert AWhen I was returning the truck I rented, there were 2 young men accepting returns in the parking area. One young man was in a small box truck, started the engine, honked the horn and drove as fast as possible without tipping the truck over around the parking area. It was quite disturbing. If anyone had been in the area where they keep the small pull trailers, they could have easily been hit before the pedestrian, or the driver could have done anything to stop it. The young man that took my keys really didn't know what to say. This occurred just before 6:30 pm CST on 12/17/2024.
JACQUELINE PWhen a reservation is made in advance I expect it not to change with in the last 24 hours of the pick up date. I appreciate the discount given for the inconvenience, but a lot of time and sleep was lost our scheduled changed, hotel reservation had to be altered. Our family has used U-Haul many time over the past and never had conditions like this to deal with. We have 2 families that have moved to Tennessee and 2 to 4 families ready to follow us. Remember you are service industry you need to meet or beat your competitions service. I would have been very happy to have picked up the truck and trailer in Moreno Valley as planned because of there professional service. FYI I will be looking at your competition when our cousins aunts sisters and their families etc. come this way. Your equipment was excellent and I have been happy with U-Haul in the past. bernie kTo encourage people to return equipment before 24 hour rental period offering a $5 credit towards next rental would be beneficial. This is especially true with trailer rentals. Most local trailer rentals aren’t needed for 24 hours. A credit towards next rental would increase the turn and really doesn’t cost the company any more to offer.
BARNEY RYour site for what ever reason, will not allow me to view my receipt online! When we returned the truck, we were told, they would have to check it in later, so still no receipt given then! Then we were told, they would just put ALL charges, on the credit card on file! This is noway to treat customers, we need to know, what all our charges are, when service is complete! Not when u-haul decides, they can get around to checking in the vehicle we returned.

ALEX KI reserved a truck the day before my move, and asked for furniture dollies. I had hired a helper for the day, allowing four hours for the move, a distance of approximately 25 miles When I arrived the following day to pick up my truck there was no record of my reservation. It took the better part of an hour to get that straightened out. When I reached my destination, I realized there were no dollies provided. I called the U-Haul office and they suggested that I try to get dollies from a dealer in the city I was in. No luck there, so drove back to the U-Haul to see if they could finde at least one dolly. They said there were none on the property. While in the office I saw four dollies stacked, and was told they were for purchase only I finally had to go to Harbor Freight and purchase two dollies. This was about two and a half hours of the four I had allotted for the move with my helper who needed to return to his employer. As a result I ended up with no help unloading at U-Haul. Then I was told to here were no units available. After much discussion they found a single unit, that had a broken door, which could not be secured. It took at least another month to get the door replaced.

BARNEY RThe app definitely needs some work. We spent too much time trying to locate the truck. It wasn't in front or rear. Finally circled the entire building and it was in the last place we looked. Then, couldn't get the lock to open. 3 people tried. Finally realized we had to manually shimmy it to get it to cascade back into it self to get the lock off and access the key. Even getting approved via driver's license took longer than expected. It would've been helpful if all of those steps were pre-listed as part of the process. Then, one could make an educated decision as to whether it's worth all the frustration. Overall, it served it's purpose, but definitely not an easier option than just going inside. Oh and the "key drop box" image that is displayed in the app doesn't match our location. We walked the property trying to find it at night. Finally realized it's a hole in the door. Images, Locks, Drop Box, Truck Location should match what will be seen.

PAUL HU-haul relies on customer to have texting. I do not and refuse to have it. As a result the person a U-haul took a picture of my drivers license with their personal phone. This is unacceptable and should be illegal. The inside-back of the van had some kind of liquid spilled in it that never dried and got on my cloths. The inside of the windshield was dirty and made it difficult to see at night, or maybe distracting would be a better word to use. The last U-haul van I rented from this location was also dirty and only had 1/8 tank of gas. I like this location because it is easy to get in and out of, but they do not clean or prep the vehicles as well as other locations.

Also, somebody hit me from the back on the road after waiting for two hours for the police when I get back with the truck they told me I need to pay an extra $150 co-pay.. After I took you guys insurance and it was not my fault at all. I will make sure to go on Facebook, Instagram And Moore to give feedback about my experience. I was really disgusted to be treated like that.

YOLANDA OThe U-Haul app was not working properly so it took a lot longer than it should have to rent the vehicle. Fuel level was not correct on the paperwork. I declined insurance, but it was added anyway. All these things were corrected, but it was unnecessary.

This vehicle was hard on gas, and the gauge for fuel economy was hard to keep in the green area . Going down a hill foot off the gas was still in the red .???

emily h | First ImpressionsManager at the time of move-in (Hussein Alsafi) did not honor the first month free promotion that was quoted in our truck rental. Hussein was the employee who checked us in to the storage unit and claimed that his manager did not allow for him to honor the promotion. When I asked why they did not contact us to make us aware, he did not understand why that would've been necessary. Stated he did not know how to refund the payment for the first month's rent. He advised I reach out to UHaul corporate, who then advised me that it was the discretion of the Storage Facilities to issue refunds. We did not pursue further action because we were still occupying the storage unit. Storage Facility was well lit and well monitored, and all of our things in the unit itself were safe and not damaged at the time of move-out.

I did not appreciate the rush to vacate my unit during work hours interrupting a meeting for a non-emergent issue. I do not recommend this location.

I confirmed with U-Haul customer service that I would receive the free month of storage upon move in for the month 10/6-11-5 even though my truck reservation was for a future date, 12/1. Upon move in I was curtly informed that that was not the case and it was explained to me in a quite juvenile manner by a staff member at the storage location that that was not the case. Since I am on a time crunch for my move I did not have the ability to shop around for another option. I feel that U-Haul was deceptive in its promise but more than that I feel that customer relations should be worked on for this staff member as they did not have to speak down to me as if I did t have a brain.

I was able to do that from the day I arrived, so it was not an issue! They said they would have it repaired once I moved out. I reminded them when I moved out and they said they would be taking care of it for the next guest. Everything about our experience was great and they worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed!
