D.W. S.I booked a 5 x 9 ramp trailer to haul a motorcycle. The site showed an image with a motorcycle wheel chocks at the front of the trailer. When I picked it up, the trailer didn't have the wheel chock. You should clearly distinguish these trailers in your reservation system. Luckily, the facility did have the proper one in inventory and made the swap out for me.

Stephen B.Where do I start?… well let's just go with the main one. Uhaul, before you send your customers out. Check and change the oil so they don't end up stranded on the side of the highway in freezing weather because the engine spun a bearing . Send your customers to the right place to begin with and not to the wrong place which was closed. Interview your employees thoroughly, So you don't end up with a 20 year old at the counter who would rather talk about tattoos with another customer than to help the one in front of him. I am not happy with my experience at all. I hope you guys are able to straighten out the lack of initiative and get back to basic good ol fashioned customer service. It would save your customers from the headache and it would save you from the bad reviews.

Sonja B.I would recommend anyone looking for a safe place to store your belongings at this facility, they have really friendly staff and they walked me through the move in process and they do provide locks that are inexpensive. Unfortunately, I do have to give it a one star rating due to when I was moving out an employee charged me on “accident” for 3 fee’s totaling 80$. I was on the phone with them as they made this error, they ended up calling over a manager whom stated they didn’t know what the charge was for. The employee then stated they “may” have checked the 3 boxes that added those fee’s. We ended the call with pretty much there is nothing that can be done because it has already processed on their end. I then received a call back from the manager shortly after, he said he contacted corporate and they also stated there was nothing that could be done because I had already moved out of the unit and it had already processed on their end. The manager said unfortunately I would still be charged regardless of their mistake and they “may” be able to refund me or “something”. I immediately locked my cards, and I am waiting to see if they proceed with charging me. I do not usually write reviews but when I do, I try to be as honest as possible. I really did enjoy my stay at this location, just really unprofessional that nobody could correct their mistakes. At the end of the day I am still extremely happy to say I was confident in trusting this facility to hold my belongings. And I realize people make mistakes! So, no need for an all negative review it deserves the good too. :)

When I asked why I was being charged so much, he told me I put over 200 miles on the truck. I only put 53 miles on the vehicle but was charged for WAY more. When I explained what happened, he told me there was nothing he could do to change it.

Shannon R.I put a 20' moving van on a reservation for 12:30 on saturday the 26th. Called at 11:00 was told "oh yeah, come on down!" got there and there was NO VAN! Spent 2 and a half hours with scheduling manager. Was told I could drive 30 miles to another location or take a smaller truck! Also told would discount the smaller truck $40 for inconvenience. Never saw the $40! Was told the 15ft. truck was $255 when it was only $215! I had watched the weather and barely had enough time to start loading before it started. was a day late getting truck turned in and they charged me another $40. I'm 67 years old did all I could do! Was told they wouldn't charge for the third day just maybe the coverage...they did both! Charged me another $83! Still haven't worked this out.

Shawna P.My previous experience at this location earlier in the month was excellent (Patrick was the employee). This time was horrible. I didn't get the man's name, but his arm was in a sling. I had made arrangements earlier to prepay and authorize an alternate driver through UHaul customer service (Diana was excellent and very helpful!). This man at the pickup site was rude and WRONG and never apologized. Said I had NOT paid, made disparaging remarks about UHaul's customer service reps, talked over me/interrupted, and overall gave me a hard time over the phone. He is a terrible representative of UHaul. Once he scrolled down, he discovered I had in fact authorized my son-in-law for pickup AND I had paid. No apologies. PLEASE PUT PATRICK BACK IN CHARGE. This guy was the worst. Plus we had to wait for them to fold up and get us a package of furniture pads. Come on, guys...one measly package from a reservation that had been made days in advance.

The only thing was I forgot I had also requested blankets and didn't get any but that was not their error it was the online system that messed up on that.

Went back out to my vehicle, got online, and rented the 10x10 unit that I wanted while sitting in the parking lot. Did their job for them, maybe they should share their paycheck.

Being told a storage space was available at the time the reservation was made and later finding out that, not only was the unit no longer available, there was no way of knowing when one would be ready threw a massive wrench in our moving day. Why allow reservations to be made and ask for a date that a unit would be needed if there are no units available? Fortunately the team managed a workaround and getting a unit secured but I can't imagine everyone being so fortunate in the future.

Or, 2-3 guys helping with rental jobs, but no one manning the store. However, I know help is hard to come by, but when you have 3-4 guys in the garage or 3guys helping with a rental truck while regular paying customers are sitting inside waiting for help, it gets annoying. However, guys were always helpful and pleasant when you finally got service. I just want to go back in time when ppl who paid monthly for services got customer service within a reasonable time (is 15 mins too much to ask when 3-4 ppl are with someone else, and you're left standing with no help?

When I finally called to arrange to have it cut off, I was told that a new lock had been put on my unit and no one told me until then.

THAT space was empty, but they forgot to add that to my account so they locked my box up. Had to chat with them about that issue for nearly a half hour trying to get THAT squared away. Then the truck I rented to haul my toolbox had a door that kept popping open, and if it wasnt for a friendly driver on the road, I could have spilled everything out that wasnt tied down and/or killed someone. Truck had a cracked windscreen. Not a biggie, but I had to explain it away after the fact. After that, they neglected to close my account when I returned the vehicle as the unit was now empty. Now I keep getting rent reminders and charges added to a unit that I turned in 1 month ago. So you tell me how my experience was.

I complained and a member of the staff worked on it and got it closed. I returned several days later and the door was still bent and water was dripping down on my quilting machine. I asked to see the manager, and was told he wasn’t there. I left a message for him to call me….he never did. So I moved out to another storage company down the road.
