I set up my installation online. I reserved my appointment right as the store opened. When I arrived, I was told that the installation technician wouldn't be there for another hour. I patience waited and left the U-Haul after a total of 3 hours.LAMONI M.

I did a late night b pickup. Taxi drive dropped me off in a scary place. Only a light from floodlight in an empty storage area. Was terrified I might be robbered or killed.hid by the trucks trying to use an incredibly slow sign in system. Finally my truck was behind another one and had to call service. I was charged about $100 more than expected without any explanation whatsoever. No where was it made clear upon booking that I'd be charged for double the rental period if I was a little late. That seems absurd. Also, the signage directing you where to return the equipment was inconsistent with what the mobile site said, as it it relates to where to park the truck before you leave. I'm extremely unhappy with being charged 200% more than what I agreed to and I most certainly won't be recommending this location, or really U-Haul, ever again.Charles B.
They ruined my life. I was told I would have 72 hours to pick up my belongings, when I get there to pick them Up (after 24 hours) I was told I would have to come back the next day (it was almost closing time), so i asked if i coukd at leadt get my medication (it's dangerous for me tp not take everyday) i was told no and told we dont have to give you any of it back. So I left and returned at 7am. This time I talked to the store manager, first she could not locate the truck , after she found out it was next door she said someone on my account called the store and told them i didnt want any of my belongings..I lost All of my clothes, three tool bags full of power tools/hand tools that i use daily snd need for my job, my boyfiends birth certificate, all the things i saved from my childhood, that are irreplaceable, things that wrre left to me from my best friend passing away, very important paperwork I needed to turn in to save me from owing thousands of dollars , my medication and everything I neededed was on that truckJanay A.

Sirrus was especially helpful first over the phone then in person especially underscoring the value U-Haul provides as a company. I have another storage in another city and will now be switching that storage to a U-Haul self storage. Good alternative from renting at the airport. Needed transpo for 3 day work meeting, and airport was out of cars. The pickup truck was a good option and was available. Location is great, and staff was very helpful and efficient...expecially the young lady who worked with us at then end of the day on August 29th to hook up our Auto-transport. However, right off the bat, the truck had a check engine light on, which seemed to be a need service indicator, and the truck leaked into the driver's cabin in heavy rain. The truck had trash from prior client behind and under the seats.Patricia L.
Keeping your word for starters I was told one thing and and didn't happen and I was overcharged. Spoke to a gentleman after 6:00 p.m. on Friday September 2nd to let him know that I would not return the truck til 7:00 p.m. it was due at 6:00 p.m. he then told me to just return it before 10:00 p.m. there will be no charge. I thanked him I told him I really appreciate that and that was the end of our conversation until I looked at the receipt got charged $112 the original contract was $78 what's wrong with this picture. In this case I would have kept the truck for another 24 hours but I did do what the gentleman told me to do get the truck at the property before 10:00 p.m. and I did thank you U-Haul you need to start keeping your wordjoe D.

Came in to pick up my truck and was given the keys to leave and the truck was parked behind other trucks. Next day came in to load my storage and first, I wasn’t explained correctly about the buildings & the letters not matching the building # - THEN once I got into the building there was still a lock on the unit. I will commend your company for holding my storage as long as you did, but my biggest complaint is when I received a message stating I could get my items at no charge, then not giving me any way to access those items. The items in the storage were my deceased brother who died not long after Covid started. I received a message from Erica at 24th st and McDowell office stating I could come get my items at no charge. I was working at the time and did not get the message until after they had closed for the day. I went down on Sunday with the means to get the storage cleaned out and was told the lock on there was unable to be opened. So I had to leave and not get my stuff Sunday. I called immediately when they opened Monday morning as my storage was due to go to auction and was told there was nothing they could do. I felt that this was the worst thing you could do to somebody, make them think they can get their items and not give them anyway to get it. I still have not even been contacted about the personal items that should have not been included in the auction. I expect this from Public Storage, but not U-haul. This storage unit was rented for my son who had to move out of his ASU apartment. When he went to check in he was told that he didn't have a reservation. After arguing with the desk person his reservation was found but it was pulling teeth to have him show my son the location of his storage unit. His card and code would not let him have access. The desk help used his card to open the gate and told him to call yesterday to get a new code. He called yesterday, got a new code, drove his car packed with all of his belongings to the storage unit and the CODE did not work. He has to be at work at 8:00am today with a car full of stuff. I set up autopay for all 3 of my lockers day 1 & somehow 1 magically came off of autopay & I was charged an late fee… the same thing happened the following month but in the 2nd month, it was 2 of my lockers that dropped off of autopay causing me to pay 2 late charges. In total, I had to pay 3 late charges due to a faulty system & had to make sure to pay manually every month due my lack of confidence in the system. I had a different storage for a long time. I wasn't comfortable with drug addicts pretty much living in thier units, and always hanging around the outside.
