Alright. My name is Nickolaus (Klaus) Geistert and I have a whole lot of issues that occurred during my move. 1st. - Moscow, ID - Reservation made/cancelled - I made a reservation with the Moscow, ID branch location for both a truck and a auto transport, then I receive an email that I have to travel to Pullman, WA to get my auto transport. I figured that is not to bad of a deal, but when I get to Moscow they tell me they cancelled my auto transport and I needed to re-file with Pullman for whatever reason. I figured okay, called customer service got everything squared away and asked if they can transfer it to Moscow, ID they proceeded to tell me know, but unfortunately they cannot do that, (Which I know is not true, because I move every 6-12 months with y'all and this has been done before), but this doesn't matter to much to me minus the hour of my time wasted due to bad customer service and logistics. 2nd. - Pullman, WA - Picking up the auto transport - So I go to Pullman, WA to pick up this auto transport and right away I realize it is in a random individuals backyard/car lot/junk yard/scrap area thing and figured this was really weird, but its fine. As soon as you walk into this "Business" you are greeted by 2 cats, 3 kittens, and 1 dog. The place smells exactly how you would think, and the dog is barking/intimidating the whole time, while it proceeded to pee all of the floor 5 feet away from where you are. The individual ends up grabbing my auto transport, putting it onto the U-Haul vehicle (My vehicle is not on it yet) and invites me inside to complete the paperwork. I complete the paperwork needed and she runs my credit card after I found an "Error" in the system. Supposedly when making my reservation, when it was cancelled and re-made they put the wrong address into the system and made me Auto Transport more expensive then it was supposed to be. I mention it, and she said that some support guy was going to refund me. Well, they ended up refunding me for the wrong amount, and they charged me more than they should of for tax, and the auto transport. Whatever, it was an extra $8 and do not really care. Now onto step 3. 3rd. - Damage to my vehicle - The individual who put on the auto transport proceeded NOT TO TIGHTEN THE AUTO TRANSPORT. So when I get the go ahead to drive my 2019 vehicle onto the transport and the darn thing came off of the hitch because it wasn't tightened down and damaged my car in the process!!! Now I am not usually one to complain, but the fact that I just bought this car with less then 3K miles on it, and getting an auto transport to safely travel my car long distances and then to have an employees neglect damage my car, is just baffling to me. Now I am not going to file my insurance, and I know I have safe tow and safe move. 4th. - Returning Truck/Auto Transport/ Charging me $80 in a flat out lie I returned the U-Haul and Auto Transport Saturday night to where my paperwork said to deliver bot

This was the third U-Haul we had visited this morning. Was supposed to pick up a truck at 8:00 am on Thomas Rd. Then was sent to S. 40th St. Employee called E. McDowell for us a truck. Arrived at McDowell facility to find one desk employee. There should have been more than one employee at the desk, long wait. He said the truck had 1/4 tank of gas. I said are you serious, a truck with no gas. I was pissed. Then he helped us, sent us out to fine the 26 ft truck on our own. My husband check three trucks before the key worked in a truck. Then he drove it out of a very tight lane with trucks on both sides. I talked to customer objections #2115422 not a happy customer. U-Haul falled me, was to pick up at 8:00 am not 11:30 am movers standing around at $70.00 an hour. Pissed off. Not a good experience at all. Dropped off truck to closest U-Haul at 2:00 am over night drop off. Called at 10:00 am to make sure it was checked in to get final cost, mileage, etc. was not checked in. Learned we had the wrong truck for our contract. This was ridiculous, so ridiculous that it was funny. My husband was mad then I started laughing and he did too.

Hands down the worst experience of my life. I move every 6-12 months and this was the worst experience with a moving company I have ever had. The Moscow Idaho location was fine, but then I had to go to the Pullman, WA u-haul to pick up the auto transport . So I go to Pullman to some crazy ladies auto shop with 10 cats and a dog that wouldn't stop barking and peeing on everything. Then on top of it they charged me more than it should have been. Anyways, the lady didnt PUT THE AUTO TRANSPORT ON CORRECTLY and I drove my car up on to it and it flipped up damaging my 2019 car that has less 1000 miles on it. Fast forward to a couple miles down the road and all the chains that she had put on fell off and she never connected the TRANSPORT BRAKE, I could of done serious damage not only to myself, but others. This is unacceptable. I move, like I said every 6-12 months and I dont know if I'll ever use uhaul again due to the horrible experience that I've had during this move.

Thought it was a little cheesy that I was 7 miles over my 133 mile allotment and charged the mileage fee but returned the vehicle with more gas than it started with but was still charged for 7 miles over and Uhaul benefited for the extra fuel-- kind of cheap

I dropped off the trailer after hours and called several times the following day to get confirmation that it was received. On two occasions I was told that the manager would call me back to confirm receipt but I did not hear from him. When I returned the truck the person who received it was friendly and helpful.

The rental van was in great shape - that is much appreciated. The check out experience was pretty good. The check in experience took over an hour and there were only 3 customers at the time - my clerk kept helping the other customer/agent multiple times and that is why it took so long to complete my order - the manager didn't seem to be aware that the same customers were waiting for such a long time - this was one of the slowest check ins I've had (with so few customers). I will be renting from other locations in the future.

There was only one attendant and there was a lot of people who needed help. He was very helpful but he had to run around a lot. I think that for a big location like this, there should be more people helping customers.

The manager, Alex, offered to set up storage for me, in addition to the truck, and that was great. But then he got busy. That was fine, since I hadn't reserved the storage ahead of time. But when I called the next day, I couldn't get through to him, even though he said he'd set up the storage rental for me. Being on a tight time line, I couldn't wait around, and I was at that point far away. So I went to a different U-Haul dealer for the storage. By the way, Alex, in the store, was very professional and kept the person handling my rental from making a mistake that would've significantly increased the cost.

I initially set up reservation at different location due the service they provided in the past. My reservation was moved to the McDowell location. Rather than one Uhaul going to the othe and getting any equipment. At the new location they had misinformation and did not scroll completely through the reservation to give me the mattress bag I had oredered and paid for. They said it was not on their order information. They also had numerous customers waiting for service. One person was trying to clan returns and wait on 3 other customers all at the same time. Very inefficiently run location, not enough trained help.

First of all the gas needle didn't match contract secondly I was advised by customer service representive that is recommended that I return truck early so I did and was charged 10 extra for returning truck after hours ....I have been doing with Uhaul for years and never had such a bad experience until now .

Stan and female gal who checked me in (sorry, forgot her name) -- both of these team members were excellent and most helpful. All in all, my 1600 mile trip was fantastic -- the equipment functioned well. Lights (adapter from 8-pin to 5 pin) came loose here and there and chain (brake) was dragging at one point -- cars passing notified us and we used heavy wire tie to hold up on the tongue area -- no biggie. Equipment was exceptional. Service exceptional. Price -- fantastic!! Thanks for everything. -Dave
