Your on-hold recording and service is one of the WORST that I have ever dealt with!! The most obnoxious wait time experience I have ever experienced with any company in my life!!!!! This has nothing to do with the Phoenix location. This is corporate! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! The message kept repeating itself Way TOO many times and way too often. at least 3 times every minute with only a 5 second break. The woman's voice is very unprofessional AND VERY unpleasant to listen to! and the music played over and over and over agein. Obnoxious music by far!!!!! What an awful experience! And when I went in to your Phoenix pickup and brought this up to the two clerks, they were in total agreement with me. Come on Uhaul! Come on corporate! Get your act together and change that experience for your customers! I DARE YOU!!!

The customer service at this location was absolutely horrible. Not only did it take over an hour to get my truck, but the guy helping us had no sense of urgency and had to be reminded that we were standing in front of him. He still continued to joke around. He was unable to type out an adequate speed, kept asking my name even though he had my ID right there in front of him. He then had to have a lady come and redo everything because he couldn't. Presentation is everything, and this store and its presentation including the co-workers uniforms were ridiculous. I'll never return to this location. I've been using U-Haul for a very long time and never have I had to go through that and hopefully never will again.

Was issued a truck with wrong mileage, Manager Alex was fixing, at delivery found out he did not fix. Trailer issued was behind all others. Manager Alex supposed to fix as well as he gave a different trailer than issued. Again, did not fix.

The young blonde gentlemen at the counter could use some humble attitude and an older gentlemen to train him further. To wit: 1. I gave the name/type of car a week earlier - they didn't have a car dolly the correct size; said he would look and call back. No call back. 2. Called three hours later as i was ready to leave. Service person advised the nearest dolly was 25 minutes drive the other way. Picked it up - did delay my departure by 1 1/2 hours but otherwise no issue. 3. Same blonde gentlemen hooked up the car dolly. I am not used to the details so paid to have that done. On towing the cr 180Miles to arrive 4 hours Later we found out the hookup was actually dangerous: 3.1 The right strap holding down the right tire was 30% cut through - could easily have been a major accident with the car separating from the dolly. 3.2. According to knowledgeable person who helped undo the car it the strap was also threaded wrong - the strap from the tensioner should have gone under a 3/4" round bar then up to the tire. I instead the strap went directly from the tensioner to the tire . 3.3 I did check the tension after maybe 10 miles - all good. The intention is not to get the young man in trouble. He obviously didn't do this on purpose so I sincerely believe his intentions were all good - he needs training on tying down a car. I'm telling you this so he is trained properly - to avoid problems for you down the road.

I was charged for a dolly and never received it as well all the extra fees really were over the top I did not get even ok customer service people rude and did not refund the money for the equipment that paid for but never received I am very disappointed I will find another option as far as a moving truck company next time I need assistance

Refer to File # 1812827 (complaint made to your corporate office on 6/4/18). Your sales practices are terrible and you overcharged us by $100. We expect a reply to the file opened yesterday within the ext 48 hours. We expect a refund back on our credit card for about $100.

Even though the fuel level and mileage were incorrect when I picked up the truck, and it was noted on my contract, this drop off location decided to charge me $60 for fuel. I am not happy, I have filled out a contact form, and have yet to be responded to. I want a refund ASAP!

Very average experience renting this truck. Insufficient inventory in Tucson caused me to have to rent in Phoenix even though I had a confirmrd reservation. The total rental was $50-$100 more expensive on top of the inconveniences. Will most likey look for alternative company next time I need a truck and will recommend others do same if asked.

Each transaction takes considerable time to complete. When one person is manning the counter, the wait times are longer than they should be. Staffing could be improved to help the customer experience.

We did the online pick up so we could rent a truck before the store opened. It took forty five minutes, the online system wasn’t working, we kept getting error messages and it was a much bigger hassle and pain in the butt than it should have been. Rhonda was great and helped us over the phone but for something that was supposed to be pretty painless, it was a really big headache.
