I am so disappointed!! I work for the new Times in Phoenix and we rent form this location on a monthly basis. I pick up on Friday and return on Monday every time. For my original reservation I ordered $19 per day 9' van. This showed a total of ($59.85) Then I added insurance for $30 and estimated 60 miles. $155.20 was charged to my debit card. Then on Monday I called and asked to add 1 more day. They did so over the phone and quoted me an additional $35.78. I agreed and they charged my debit card . I returned the vehicle today and said my total was just under $500. I went inside to speak to front desk and he said that the system automatically charged me "the best rate" and now my total was $500. This is unacceptable so, he said he would help and adjusted my days to 3. But this was now charging me $79 per day. I had to pay him an additional $160. So out the door I paid $350 for 4 days (2.16 - 2.20). I am furious. I have to bill my client and pay the difference myself. I have used this location many times and do not understand why or how this happened today. So, I thought I would let you know the details. I have also used other Uhual locations in Phoenix and this has never happened. Thank you Kristin Barton 602-300-5600

Not understanding why after I paid my bill at this location, I received an email implying I have a past due balance and late fees 60+$. I call the location and it had to be looked at very closely to show I paid the balance. Then I was recommended that I shall call the 1800-789-3638 and spoke with a female and she was very rude unpleasant to speak with. She assumed I needed a payment plan before she cared to understand what was fully going on. I had to cut her off and try to explain I called the location and cleared it up with them just need to make sure it's all ok. She said "hold" and then I was transferred back to the store location with Alex. Was asked to wait that I will get a call back. Not a comfortable situation with my debit card on file. Once I'm told it'll keep getting charged until balance is payed. I paid this balance already. Not a happy customer. Will not be using U-Haul again. First and last time. Went to U-Haul to be stress free and that's not the case.

The gentleman that hooked up the trailer was very knowledgeable and professional, he was also helpful by giving us directions on the best route to get back on the interstate to head home. Very courteous and a pleasure to do business with.

I completed the on-line reservation session prior to arrival, to pick up my truck and tow dolly. It didn't seem like it mattered. I was still asked every question I had completed on the pre-arrival on-line session...But the clerk was friendly and courteous, and I was given a nearly new truck, which made for a more enjoyable interstate trip.

Aaron saved my day & my stranded (in Quartzite) friends by staying after Saturday work hours (I arrived just 10 min before closing) to find a truck with a 2-5/8" trailer hitch ball (I purchased from you & he installed onto your truck). My friends are the nationally known folk music group (and still touring since 1963) The New Christy Minstrels that were stranded (with equipment trailer) in Quartzite but had a concert in Phoenix on Sunday. Aaron saved the concert! Problem: I put the expense on my debit card, to be paid in full by the Minstrels at close of contract. However your "hold" on my debit card was not expunged until Thursday --opening me up to possible NSF for my incoming mortgage & other payments made against my bank account. Special Thank you to Aaron in Phoenix! The U-Haul in Quartzite refused to assist the stranded Minstrels as they wanted to close shop. Minstrels called me at 6:30 pm Saturday. I phoned UHaul to inquire & reserve a truck with trailer hitch. Got to Aaron minutes before closing. Found UHaul trailer hitch balls were only 2". Aaron searched to find an available truck that I could have a 2-5/16" ball installed. Aaron made it all work. I drove to Quartzite that night & the band & trailer arrived in Phoenix the next morning (Sunday) for the 1pm concert. Thanks again.
