Difficult to rent from Uhaul, do not understand rental process… select no contact rental during rental booking but have to go inside and wait 30 mins in line to have agent print contract, pay at POS, and collect keys. Why? Can rent from Hertz, Avis, etc. online and collect my car w/o the wait. If you need me to verify ID then install kiosk. Agent by herself so not necessarily her problem but this is not customer centric but cost out/savings focused.

When I arrived she couldn’t find my reservation and I asked her did she need my reservation number she said she couldn’t look that so eventually she found it only to tell me they had nothing available I threatened to call customer service because I drove all the way from Cumming then she made a phone call and I sat and until she did every move out just to find me a unit that was somewhat comparable but I ended up with a non climate controlled unit on the fifth floor very dissatisfied with my experience because it set me back I was in the location at least an hour with a line of customers behind and it also resulted in me having to extend my truck rental an additional day because both places where I reserved through uhaul dropped the ball putting my day off schedule and incurring extra cost

Advertised as 24-hour storage but was not the case upon arrival. Representative in the phone was not helpful and coerced me into getting a unit that she insinuated was the same as the one I had reserved, turns out it was a wine unit. The gate code did not work so when I came back the next day and discovered the situation with the wine unit I tried to explain to the manager that I already had a drive up unit reserved and he stated that because it was a few minutes after 6 he couldn’t help me so I’m on day 3 of sorting this out. Very disappointed as I have been a U-Haul customer for 10 years and never had issues like this before.

Trell really helped me in this inflation being a single human with no kids i have been forced to do the unthinkable... I couldn't not renew my lease because I don't make 3 times the rent and I needed a place to store my things while I stay in airbnb till I find a better living arrangement... when I got in 10 minutes before close and I know workers want to go home but that was the only available Reservation I could find.. Trell had no attitude, she helped 3ppl and me all at the same time, never once was she overwhelmed she worked well under the pressure... and again very informative on the company!

The first location was changed to a second at the last minute. Then the second location didn't even have an agent. Just a phone number on the door. When I called, they said they couldn't provide the trailer to me because it was delivered (the day before) damaged. (Why didn't they tell me BEFORE driving to pick it up?) I had to call and was given a THIRD location. Once there, the trailer was hooked up and I was CHARGED MORE because of the location change. I asked for (and was denied) instructions on loading/unloading instructions. Once I got home, I realized that the trailer was missing a chain and had a flat tire *not evident until my vehicle was loaded). I had to add air to the tire and provide my own chains. Once it was dark and I was driving, I realized that one of the clearance lights was not functioning. When dropping off the trailer at the destination, I was told that the trailer was actually missing multiple security chains. How in the world do you allow a customer to take possession of a rental in such an unsafe condition and provide such poor customer service?

The truck had the most horrifying and revolting smell inside the cab. I tried febreze and driving with the window down but it would not abate. It smelled like garbage, farts, and rotting chicken. I wore my mask the whole drive but I still had a headache. Super disappointed I had to experience that.

I reserved a furniture dolly when I reserved the truck a few weeks ago, but they had none and said they haven't had any for weeks. At least not any for rent. But they were willing to sell me one!

I was given the wrong address online and it wasn't open when I arrived during the hours of operation, then they gave me the correct address but the first unit they gave me a unit too small after I told them I needed a bigger size. They then gave me a bigger unit but it had stuff in it so I had to wait for it to be cleaned before we can put our stuff in....When asked for compensation i was looked at as if I was crazy! I'm honestly glade that my stuff isn't going to be in there long... The whole experience was just too much for me.

Truck was leased to me with 1/8 a gallon of gas which meant the 1st thing I had to do after picking it up was buy gas. When I asked the clerk about it, seemed to miss the point completely. His response was... "there are several gas stations close by for me to get gas." As part of the transaction, he gave me a $23 credit for bringing the truck back 1/4 full. It is clearly NOT the Uhaul policy for their trucks to have a minimum level of gas prior to customer rental. When I returned the truck, it was not checked back in because the system at the office was down according to the female agent at the counter. She stayed seated, barely looked at me (as she seemed pre-occupied with her phone), repeated twice that "the truck would be checked back in and I would receive an email receipt, and only told me the system was down when I asked her why the truck was not being checked back in immediately. Neither the return truck mileage, fuel level or general truck condition was checked while I was at the location - though none of those steps required the office system to be up. Fortunately, I did receive an accurate final bill though I certainly was not confident that would happen when I left the location after dropping off the truck.

I was ripped of by a shady worker named Stacy (male). I drove 8 miles total, somehow that's a quarter of a gas tank according to him. Will be calling corporate to file complaint. Would like to see how a quarter tank is equal to 8 miles. Also it would have been 4 miles total if Uhaul honored my original appointment Basically ya suck

Because I didn't perform a proper inspection of the entire trailer. I missed the worn tire on the left side. When I stopped for gas, I could smell burnt rubber and looked at tire and noticed the worn condition and missing tread pieces.

The van I rented was filthy both outside and inside. It was dusty, dirty, and there were empty drink containers inside the vehicle. The outside was dirty as well, but I had to wipe down the steering wheel because it was so gross.

The pictures of this truck on the link for us to check and rate were all wrong - they must have been taken when the truck was new. This truck was BEAT UP! and we ended up having to return it early to a different location due to it shaking so bad! When we rented it traffic was terrible and the shaking was not detected. They first delivery we made the truck shook so badly our team refused to drive it anymore.

The personnel (Kristen) was amazing! She was extremely helpful and attentive. She was beyond helpful. We rented 3 Uhauls yesterday, two 26' trucks and one 15' truck. We did have to call roadside for one of the 26' trucks upon getting our rental back to our location due to there being a huge gash in the tire (it was not leaking air) - we spotted this with Kristen while doing the walk around - but since they did not have another truck we were advised to take it and call roadside asst. that afternoon so it could be replaced prior to us using it this morning for work related travel. The other 26' truck has an oil light on - the oil pressure is good (remained in the middle) we were advised to just drive it if we felt safe doing so. So that is what we are doing. The 15' truck - we had to rent because it was a replacement for the 17' truck that we rented on November 3rd and are supposed to return on the 13th. the 17' truck was shaking terribly - and we were not comfortable driving it any longer. The experience with Kristen at Your Extra Attic was amazing but I do feel that Uhaul should service it's trucks better. All three of our trucks had an issue!

I was told by an employee that I would be reimbursed if I went over with refilling the gas tank. The assistant manager was standing right beside the employee but didn't say anything. When I returned the next day to return the vehicle the assistant manager told me they don't offer refunds if the gas is refilled over what it was given as. She was unprofessional by hearing an employee give out the wrong information and never said a word.

My reservation started at 9am, and was due for return at 11am. Staff did not open store until 9:01, and I did not get checked out until 9:21. Staff would not extend my rental by the 21 minutes it took them to check me out, which caused me not to be able to move what I needed. Staff said, “What do you want me to do about it?” And “And??” I will never use Uhaul again. I suggest staff open the doors at 8:30 so that the first 9am rentals get their full reservation time. And fire all staff here. Unfriendly, and sounded like robots rattling off, “NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are late, we will charge you $150 plus extra for each 15 minutes you are late.” What a joke.

When we walked into this location, there was a very drunk homeless man that would not leave us alone, hassling customers, by getting in our faces, trying to touch us, (he did) and the young lady working there. It took about 30 minutes for a cop to arrive after she pressed the panic button! She then told us this guy comes in all the time, and they don't have any help trying to get him out of there. Oh I feel awful that she has to deal with this Man that said he was going to kill her and throw her in the river. Her name is Trell. I'll tell you one thing, she handled herself very very well, kept calm, and was very professional about it. I'm Kelly Broxton- 404-313-5071

It was easy to rent and a convenient location. I pre-registered with license and information and the pick up was quick and easy. The van parked out front for pick-up. Return was also very easy and quick. The one thing - and likely my fault - I didn't realize there was a 30 minute pick-up window before the booking was cancelled. Thankfully, the person called to remind me and held the booking as I was about 10 minutes longer then the 30 minutes but she held it for me.

Staff went above and beyond to help me from pick up to return! Outstanding customer service, patient and understanding! Will return. I overstated my mileage and used less than half the amount I thought and would like to have the unused amount return to my account, however, if that's not possible, I will do my due diligence in the future. I will continue to rely on U-Haul.

My reservation for a 10x20 unit was not honored I had called repeatedly and visited in person week prior to confirm all- yet I arrived w movers and was told not available. There was one 10x15 available. After exploring I took it. I did not have any choice at that point. It’s ceiling has a rip w insulation hanging and no lightbulb. I was told no more lightbulbs in units and they would put in work order for ceiling- but now we have all our items stacked in the unit so don’t see how they can repair. It should have been fully repaired before move in allowed. My customer service contacts were very nice and very helpful but their capacity to deliver service seemed compromised by your system. There was only one service person there as well. You really need to better support your employees to deliver better customer service Also the back gate broken.
