I had left my couch two pictures here for table chairs. Being that I had nothing but my car could not even afford to get a truck to put the stuff in nor that I had him to do what I was doing. I just said OK I will try when I knew I couldn’t. I was only to get what I can that would fit in my car and did. She had called someone and they told her I had to get it all out that night. Well I was unable not to get it all and had to leave it. I can’t remember what I was doing at the time my phone ☎️ ring. On the other end of the phone the lady asked to speak to me Billie and I said can I help you. She told me her name was Kathy and she said Billie when are you gonna come and get the rest of your things out of storage. I explained to her what was told to me and she asked me who was it I told her I can only describe what the lady look like, but she did apologize because she has no control. She told me to come and get the rest of my things out. Ms. Kathy ask me if I wanted my couch and picture and chairs I told her yes. I said all that to say this that was nobody but God to lay upon her heart and her managers heart. To tell me to come and get the rest of my things and I think and praise God for that because they didn’t have to do it but the did. I appreciate it thank you all, for your help. My husband and I were treated incredibly poor at this location. The employee threatened to call the authorities when my Chilean husband tried to correct the employee that he is able to rent with his Chilean D.L. he did previously this year. We had our pastor and director of our organization contact headquarters in AZ. Only then was my husband able to rent the U-Haul. It was completely disgusting the manors and words of disrespect we were subjected to by this employee. The stress and added cost as we had movers contracted for a specific time had to me extended. I'm only grateful I will never have to step foot in that location again. I am also reporting to all of contacts to avoid this location. And possibly all U-Hauls. Please respond as we are still very upset about the situation.Marie H.

The issue was with overbooking appointments for hitch installation. I had an appointment time and an estimated time of 2 hours. Upon arriving to pick up the vehicle, I was told it would be an additional 1 1/2 hours. I'm not sure if the overbooking was human error, or delayed installation issues. No discount was offered or any means of addressing the inconvenience.Edward S.

Again, a record of my experience is on file. I would have said, "yes, the woman I dealt with was helpful" because I thought she had been but turned out she screwed me over by not telling me that I needed to return the 15' truck to the orig location on Michigan. And I asked repeatedly if the orig bill to my bank account was going to be removed before I got charged for the 20' truck and she repeatedly said yes. That was a lie. Consequently, my bank account got overdrawn & I've been charged $125 in insufficient funds fees.SUSAN S.

The cost was over 50 dollars than my reservation estimate...the truck was clean on full but I still had to pay a 25 cleaning fee and 3 different taxes that had nothing to do with sells tax over priced insurance useless roadside help that takes over an hour to respond also only communicates through text...I will not be using uhaul in the future. I didn't get any receipt I don't know how my mileage was, my gas she said wasn't exact, and then money was taken from my account with no explanation. When I arrived to return the truck a man was waiting for service. The lady was outside not paying attention to who was waiting. A car pull up with white folks in it to fill some tanks and got immediate service. So we had to wait. She was working by herself. Service suck. Horrible experience overall but had nothing to do with this location. We made a reservation for 15' truck for 8 am at another store on keystone. They did not have it ready and sent us on a wild goose chase to find another truck across town. At the end of the day we had been to 4 different stores and got a 10' truck which was too small. We had to make several trips so mileage was higher than I had planned. Overall everyone we talked to with the exception of the owner at shadeland store and coordinator over the phone was extremely apathetic and unhelpful. These people need a lesson on great customer service. Will not be using uhaul again in the future after this awful experience.Kristen A.

The applications insistence/requirement that I have location services enabled to make sure I was at the right location is completely unnecessary. I was told the truck was ok even though there were several lights on including check engine. They said they had checked, it was minor and they had ordered a part.ALFRED E.
