The only thing that was a little frustrating is to self check in. My husband was with me and he got a text message that a number would be calling him to verify. The number texted to him said "we're calling from 1-830" and the number that called him were two different numbers (1-800). He didn't answer so that created a longer delay trying to enter someone else. I wish I would have been able to enter the same person twice so he need to answer the second time.Krystal G.
U box experience was horrible, my boxes were under another person's name and contact info. Boxes were not out by the time I arrived for my reservation, which I explicitly asked for when I made the reservation. The location itself was clean and the gentleman I spoke to was nice. However, I reserved a van a week in advance. Not even an hour before my scheduled pick up U-Haul said it would not be available but I could go to a location 12 or 5 miles away for a comparable pick up. (In reality to actually drive there instead of a their straight line measurements it was 20 and 9 miles) I went to the closer of the two and they were closed so I couldn't even pick up a rental. Now after being rerouted and delayed over 45 minutes I could rent their left over pick up truck with less than half of the moving capacity of what I reserved. Making what should have been a 4ish hour move into a 7 and a half hour move. And to add a cherry on top the truck reeked of smoke like someone had just smoked a pack of cigarettes in there before I opened it up.KATHRYN V.

I think the notion of 'mobile checkin' is false. We still needed to complete the check in in the store - not a problem but not what the expectation was.samantha M.
Equipment should be checked prior to renting to customers to ensure safety. The first van issued to me was not safe to drive for a 1,000 mile rental. I also lost a day of travel time because I had to switch vans. The second van was also not safe but I discovered that after reaching my destination. To add insult to injury I was still charged for both days including the mileage that was accumulated when I had to return the first van.ROBERT A.

I will have to say the best way you can serve your customers is to have your representatives to take them into the office and do everything on the computer when they are returning the vehicle my experience at this location the gentleman took the truck outside he used his cell phone to try to close my rental agreement out he overcharged me he had it to where I had this truck for 2 days I only had it for 2 hours and then he refused to go into the office to try to make Corrections there was another representative that was there that took the time to go into the office and see my rental agreement and saw that I only rented the truck for two hours he had to apologize for the other guys mistake that's not right that is unacceptable and is very unprofessional and no I will not tell anyone about rent a vehicle at this locationERIC E.

We had a lousy experience this time renting from UHaul as the truck was booked in Raleigh and wasn't available when we arrived. We were forced to drive 45 minutes to another location that had the equipment reserved. At both locations the waiting time to be served was excessive.Thomas M.

This is the third time I've used this location. The customer service is always cold. I called to ask a pricing question, the response was this is spelled out in the booking process. It was extremely difficult to get a hold of this office. Wait time on the phone was ridiculous. My box arrived 14 days late. Then, the movers were unable to get my box for an extra 2 days. The location then charged me for the next month of storage because the 1 month was up... it's now taking more time on the phone to get this charge reversed. I am very disappointed with my experience. I am a public school teacher and all my school supplies were inside of my box. I was so nervous that it would not arrive in time to teach this week. I felt helpless in the situation.Catherine H.

There was only a single employee working there trying to handle both register and showing people to their equipment. This made a line of 4 people take nearly 30 minutes. There should be at least 2 people to make this process faster. When I did finally get there, my reservation had changed from a 26' truck to a 20' truck with no notification. Luckily I was able to fit everything I need to move with the help of 2 extra cars but this should never have been an issue if I got what I reserved.Jeff F.

Several errors setting appointment online. Called a representative and waited 30 minutes. Asked the agent to schedule my appointment for 11:00am, so I went to the location. The person told me my name had been scheduled for 11:00pm. Called again and went to a new location. The agent said only a 15' uhaul was available and would provide it for the same price as 10'. The location was far and we got a 10' (I guess it was in stock). Waited 30 minutes in line. Some lady was just sitting (store manager I believe) staring into the cctv and when asked if she was available to help (other two were busy helping others) she said â€œnoâ€ and just started looking at her phone and staring at the cctv monitor. What kind of store manager does this, at least be polite or don't be seen in public looking at your phone and stating at the cctv. Is she part of security? What a waste of money for uhaul to hire a full time cctv observer.SOYOUN P.

Is words I would describe this facility as WOW. It was the cleanest storage facility I ever used and the people were the most freely that I have ever seen in my last 10 years of using U-Haul. I move yearly for my job (whole house - state to state) and for the last 9 years i have never used a better location. The facility and trucks from this location have been the best ever....comparing to different locations around 9 different states. And this u Haul facility and their truck conditions were the best I have ever seen and experience. The staff work very hard to keep the facility including the bathroom spotless. Thank you. Please consider how time efficient and safer it would be if the outdoor access for Ubox access on the premises had a canopy and had direct light shining at the boxes after office hours. By safer I mean being able to ensure you can be seen if you trip on a bus or trip due to the pavement having grooves shaped in it for the path of traffic. It is great getting fresh air and accessing the UmUboxes on your premises, which is set up for this product to be placed and moved upon. Another idea is a small portable chain fence placed around the Uboxes in case a dog or squirrel wonders over or a box rolls out while accessing the unit. I reserved initially online, and didn't realize that the space I got was so small, especially the door. The employee who helped me was able to switch my space to what I needed, and was extremely helpful. However, he did tell me that the first month was supposed to be free, and I got charged - is there a way to rectify this?
