I ordered a utility dolly but they forgot to give it to me, so I was stuck asking strangers for help moving heavy furniture when I arrived at my destination.Abigail A.

Pick up was horrible. Tried to use the app and the keys were not in the lockbox. Went inside and the team at the front desk had the keys. They asked that we not leave our car on the lot. I said I would never, meaning because we were double parked with our baby inside. They took it very defensively and said â€œoh, what did she say? She would never? Oh, sorry.â€ Like I think it's a bad area or something? I live less than a mile away! Go out to the van and none of the equipment is inside. Go back into the store and they act like it's a hassle to get the equipment. Like what is the point of using the app if nothing is ready like it should be? Drop off was a completely opposite experience, but we avoided the jerks from pickup and worked with a lovely woman.Rhiannon K.

The truck was old and barely made it to Palm Springs. The radio knobs were full of gunk. The latch was almost impossible To open and close. Terrible Experience.Jennifer P.

Gave me a uhaul with little gas, car didn't start in the beginning, I asked if this would happen again and the guy says to leave it on for 30 minutes at least. And I asked is it going to happen again though and he said you should be good. Then after I loaded all the stuff in car didn't start and had to call road side assistance and pay for an Uber because I was on a time crunch with things. I'm so upset !!!!!! And need some money back. I'm not okay with how my day was that day . A car that did not want to start and turn on when it wanted tooâ€¦. I was already stressed enough as it was with my move and this added so much more especially with spending money on a Uber !!!!!Brianna G.

I returned the tow dolly and truck at different times (which was approved ahead of time by employees at this location.) I dropped off the tow dolly first, then the truck later that day. The employee who checked in the tow dolly failed to do it properly, and as a result I was inundated with calls from uhaul asking why I hadn't returned the dollyâ€¦ I had to tell uhaul employees over and over again that I did in fact return the dolly, and even after a uhaul employee opened an investigation into what happened, I was continually called by uhaul until finally I received a receipt for the tow dolly a few days later.Sean H.

Two times now, I get called 30 minutes or less before my pick up time that they do not have my equipment and I have to find a ride to another location, very inconvenient. Then I get to the new location and even though I have already checked in via internet, my equipment is not ready, causing me to be behind schedule. I hate u haul days!MICHAEL M.

When making the appointment I said that my time is limited and was told it will take up to 90 minutes. When I came to the appointment I was told that they could not do the installation that day but should come back next day same time. I came back the next day and was told the installation takes about 90 minutes. After 90 minutes I returned and asked how much longer and was told â€ža few more minutesâ€œ but it turned out it was another 90 minutes - overall 3 hours. The checkin process needs work. I specifically completed the â€œexpress checkinâ€ steps in advance to expedite the process on day of reservation. But then I STILL had to take fresh photos of my DL, wait for approval, AND collect keys from staff inside. Would have been easier to just checkin in person. When I finally did complete the steps, the app had my return time wrong which was confusing and annoying. Also, the truck had 1/4 tank of gas which required me to fuel up right at the start of my journey and the oil was low and due for a change. The best part was that the fellow who received me on return was friendly and efficient.Suzanne A.

Absolutely insanely expensive! It used to be like $20 to rent a truck. For 1 day and 44 miles, it cost me over $150. While U-haul is handy, the cost is ridiculous!Ken F.

Didn't know what he was doing. Had to get another employee for each step. No one showed me the U-Haul or what to do. Didn't give me furniture pads I payed for and then had to get refunded. the gas tank was on empty when i rented. i had to first fill it up and was afraid there was even enough gas to get to the gas station. this is SUCH a HORRIBLE part of renting from UHAUL. it's SHAMEFUL that you have to FIRST gas the truck before you can use it. i have to find a new rental company. this is getting REALLY old!rick T.

The Chi return feature was a little bit confusing and hard to use, the requirement of having to have location services on, was a little bit weird even though I already had my location services on. I'm not even sure if I did it right I think I did, but it was just a little bit disjointed there should be a dedicated site or some thing for the key return.Patrick G.
Upon the start of my storage unit reservation, the staff failed to tell me that access ended at 10pm, and I went at 10:15pm a few nights later to access my things in storage, but was locked out because access stopped 15 minutes earlier, so I had to change my plans the next day so that I could get my stuff. I lost time and money due to this inconvenient lack of communication from the staff. Also, when I rented a moving van and ended the storage unit rental contract, the staff processed my van rental, but neglected to close out the storage unit rental as well, so I was billed later on for the next month, even though I had already ended to reservation, and I inconveniently lost time by calling Uhaul to fix that staff member’s mistake.Nicholas S. | Overall Experience

The staff was the best part of this facility, they were all very helpful & nice. My storage unit was not the best. The doors were damaged & would not close completely therefore dust, dirt, bugs would get into my unit leaving all my stuff dirty. I told the manager Angel & he said he would get back to me & never did so I decided to move my storage elsewhere. I was forced to pay my last month in full even though I only used the storage for 1 week. This is why you are getting this review. I should not have to pay for space and time I did not use. That is unacceptable and you should refund me the difference. Roches in the facility but not in my unit thank God. I have pictures.
