Got charged ridiculous fees. Can't even get in contact with someone about an explanation about the fees because everytime you calll your on hold for an hour. Don't recommend this place at all. The Bristol location is much much better. Never had an issue with them.HALEY A.
The employee who assisted us in the morning was beyond friendly and treat my partner with the upmost respect. I forget her name i belibe it was Amy. And was blonde and super nice We were told to being the vehicleback before 8 if we wanted to speak to an employee. All I wanted to know was our final bil costl. I was walking towards the door and an employee saw me coming g and proceeded to lock the door; the time was 7:50. I understandstand the man was trying to leave but he had two pairs of customers in there as well. I just did not appreciategetting the door locked and he made eye contact with me and locked the door any ways. I just found it rude and I was completely dumbfounded. Also please get the vehicle serviced. It was pulling all over and the fan did not stop functioning when when the turned off. Beside the customer serviceissues towards drop off. No clear direction on moving in. Where to go or what to do. Was given locker #, code (not needed apparently) and told lock was in unit. That was it. Went to locker and saw a small tag on it that it was ready for user. Thought okay, cut it off and an alarm went off like we did something wrong. Nobody around to help or explain so just went about business. Alarm did go off so hoping everything was fine. Also directions on where to park are nonexistent on premises. I found my locker # on map easily but when you pull into complex there is a wrong way sign where you think you are to go to get behind building. So I keep driving to the end where I think it is going to dead end but realize I can actually get behind the building that way. Then when leaving I attempt to go out the way I thought I couldn’t get in at (assuming 1 way, but again no signage) and then I see the do not enter sign is also facing the other way. Are you not supposed to enter or exit at the top of the complex? Only go in and out at the end of the complex? Very confusing. I reserved a 26 foot on Sunday along with a storage unit, called on Tuesday morning to move up my pick up time only to be told they didn't have my reservation and there was no 26 foot available so I received a 20 foot. It sounded like it was going to blow up it reved so loud the whole way driving. Very disappointed with my experience.DANIELLE P.

I reserved a truck maybe a month before we moved. When we went night of our reservation the truck wasn't reserved for us. We had to wait until the next morning to get it. This set us back so much that we had to keep the truck an extra day when it could have been returned sooner. I called to let them know and how I wasn't happy and all the guy said was that he would make a note of it in there for the manager. Well when it came time to return it I got charged full price still. Pretty crappy situation to not give someone some money off for all the trouble we went thru. Then on top of all of that there was food stuck on the ramp part, dolly was missing and a freaking gigantic ass booger on the steering wheel!! We will never use this location again and won't be recommending it to anyone else either.ALBERT S.

This location and the person who checked us in was great! However, we spoke with someone prior to pick up in regards to the reservation and she was rude and unhelpful. I called to check on the status of a cargo rental and without explaining why, she cancelled one of our trucks which was not part of the order or why I called in the first place. She would not address why I called (cargo rental), but rather, cancelled the truck and hung up when I asked for a supervisor. Completely unprofessional and had us scrambling to figure out our move when we thought we were all set.Melissa J.

Rate your trailers by actual inside useable space dimensions. I rented a 5x9ft trailer. The actual useable space was far less. I could not load something 52 inches wide(less then 60") without removing the tailgate chains and hoping it would squeak in,JOSEPH H.

My unit was broken into by a homeless person living in the unit next to mine. Almost all of my belongings were stolen. There were many things if sentimental value in the unit along with about $4000. Of items. A police was filed . The told us that they were called on other occasions to evict the women. U-Haul has pretty much told me that they are not liable or willing to help and I need to deal with the police. This is unacceptable for a company as large as U-Haul. Which is why I chose them in the first place. Obviously that decision was of no value. I can not replace the sentimental items ever but I should compensated for my other valuables which I don’t have the funds to replace. U-Haul should be accountable for who has access to the storage buildings. Especially since they knew that a homeless individual was living in there!Janet A. | Overall Experience

My items were damaged while inside my uhual unit TWICE! This storage is dirty; there's mice and bugs here. There were mice droppings and countless other damages to my items. Even staff members stated how they don't know clean this facility properly which is why there's bugs and mice inside of the units. DISGUSTING! The managers were absolutely NO HELP what so ever. The garage door was broken all summer making it difficult to move items in and out. They rarely answered the phone at the front desk or the intercom. And to boot, someone moved in recently who has items that contain extremely foul odors forcing us to move our items out. There is constantly trash and discarded items sitting all around the building. Elizebeth had the best customer service I have ever experienced after having an awful day by ordering my uhaul for a 17 foot truck then I was downgraded to a 10 foot truck. My location was switched my time was switched this is very unacceptable on uhauls behalf. The lady on the phone was very rude to me as well I was charged extra because I had to take extra trips I should be discounted on uhauls end. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION! I was told i would receive a call the day before delivery and pick up in PA and CA. Not only did I NOT receive any calls but i had to call over 12 TIMES total and was on hold for over 20 min each time to arrange pick up/drop off times. Then when my box did finally arrive it was damaged and there were 17 NAILS STICKING UP OUT OF THE BOTTOM! The door latches were broken and the ramp was broken. Then upon pick up the driver said they would be there at 9am, so I arranged my day to be there at 9am and she didn't arrive until after noon! I had to call out of work because she lied and did not articulate that her shift did not start until 11am! Absolutely horrible communication. I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone. This location has got to be one of the nicest storage facilities I have ever visited. The entire facility feels like it is brand-new and well maintained. The indoor parking for the storage unit is a nice plus. The climate controlled zone was nice and cool even on a hot summer day.
