You know I rented a truck at a place that was 2/10 of a mile down the road and 10 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up you guys called me and told me it was not available there. This is really terrible God awful customer service and you need to fix that when I rent a truck two weeks before I'm supposed to pick it up it needs to be there and a $50 refund does not cover the cost of having to drive an hour round-trip to pick up a stupid truck that I rented 2/10 of a mile down the road for. Totally totally unacceptable and terrible customer service 10 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up then I had to drive 30 minutes away to pick up the truck I cannot tell you how disappointed and frustrating that is and 50 bucks for a refund does not cut the irritation that I feelGreg W.

Originally reservation was with hixson pike location. When I arrived they did not have the dolly. I had to go across town to broad street location. I was never able to access my reservation on-line. Recieved message there is an error on our end. Called customer service, they directed me to the website where I recieved the same message, there is an error on our end. I have rented equipment from this location multiple times, the recently promoted new manager (a gentleman wearing glasses) has always been unprofessional, his work is careless, sloppy, out right irresponsible and dangerous. At the checkout inspection of my first rental last summer, I was renting a car carrier to bring my daughter's car to Utah. During the pickup inspection, I found one of the tire was worn all the way down to the belt! The inner body plies was completely exposed. So I pointed it out to him, this Same guy now is the new location manager told me: â€œyou can call the 1-800 number on the road!â€ I told him, â€œthe belt and body plies is exposed!!! You are ok with a customer to leave your store with your equipment in this condition?! This is how you conduct safety inspection â€ He finally agree to have someone to fix it. After we have loaded our vehicle onto the car carrier, then he proceeded to wrap the rear safety chain to the wishbone of my car's right rear wheel! It should be wrap around the frame of the car! I discovered that after we have driven for 1,600 miles to Utah! This time, we discovered the brake fluid reservoir was nine dried, the brake fluid line was cut on the U-Haul trailer after we have driven for 4 hours! We were going to drive this across the country, crossing two deserts ! This manager is incompetent, poor in communication, irresponsible. He is a liability to your company! How long are you guys going to tolerate him and this team?!! Take a look at all the horrible experiences people have left on Google Review! My originally assigned dolly was changed out by the store because they could not get to the dolly. But nobody knew how to change the contract to reflect the change. It took 30 minutes to figure it out. The dolly I was assigned had lots of road grime and dirt on it. Equipment was serviceable and I had no issues. Please train your staff on how to make contract changes.Christopher W.

Give afterhour drop off instructions at pickup. Provide a printed copy of pertinent information like gas gauge and mileage at pickup. After an 18 hour day of loading and unloading it was very frustrating to try to figure out the after hours drop off procedure. And the app never did detect that I was sitting in the parking lot.Susan B.

There was minimal info about storage options on the website for this specific location except its was on the second level based off that size. Most uhaul storage facilities are nice, climate controlled and secure. Plus they normally have an “upstairs” or multiple levels and to get upstairs there is atleast an elevator. There was NO elevator, only steps and this was not mentioned until after we got there. So as we are moving to this new city we have countless heavy items that we had to haul UP A FLIGHT OF STEPS when we thought we could just roll these things right up to a unit and unload quickly and efficiently. They knew we had an entire truck full of very large house items and didn’t question the full uhaul to bring up a flight of old metal stairs. It would be one of the hardest things to haul up steps for two people. So being it was almost time for them to close up for the night, and we had no where else to go with this full truck we had to settle for this and if we had known ahead of time that this was how the facility was we would taken our business elsewhere. Upstairs was no better than a old warehouse, hot and definitely not climate controlled. One of the last times we were in there getting all this stuff out and DOWN A FLIGHT OF STEPS we had to sign out of the facility with the code. Said it was signed out but it never locked the door to the inside storage facilities so we thought the code didn’t work since the door was still unlocked, so we opened the door as it was fully unlocked and the alarm went off. Of course they had all gone home for the night and we will get penalized if we do not sign out properly so as the alarm is going off both inside the facility and in the units no police ever came and we did not know what to do. The emergency after hours phone call person did not answer his phone and still did not call me back to this day (about 2 weeks ago) so we ended up calling 911 ourselves to let them know that we are tenants at the storage unit and their doors are not locking properly and that they need to be aware of this as this is not a great part of town. It’s good to know that the storage facility is probably improperly unlocked all day long and night and our valuables are all in one storage unit in this building. The employees are mostly helpful but not the most pleasant people. We will not be coming back here and we will be finding a newer nicer more secure storage unit for our things next time … And we have used family owned storage units in the past that have been nicer than this.
