I requested the recordings of the phone conversations for the U Haul 3 calls because the customer service was so disorganized. The "manager" Robyn Aragon could not find the phone recording of the initial contract set up with Mia (employee # 1242076). She asked me to supply her with the phone number I called on initially. I find it very odd and disorganized, that Robyn could not look up my contract by my last name to figure out what phone number I called on for the initial contract. To then allow her to send me the recording with Mia. I still do not have this recording. Mia set up the contract as I requested. I wanted the 4 ½ star rated downtown Chatt location to service me, not the 3 ½ star Hixson Pike location. Still, I was sent to Hixson Pike location to pick up the furniture dolly, then to downtown Chatt for the 26' truck, auto dolly, appliance dolly and 2 dozen blankets. When I arrived at Hixson Pike location, Manager Mike hesitatingly gave me the dolly and he said "take it, no charge." Now I headed to downtown Chatt location where I thought everything would be ready to sign and drive out the door. NOT so, I arrived around 5:30 to the location. Had my Dad go in to get the process started. My mom had just called me from my home, telling me the power was OUT. I was on the phone with EPB resolving the power outage issue. I walk into the story and see furniture dollies on the floor available for rental. I was annoyed when I saw that! Loooong story short ~ we did not drive out of the Uhaul location until 7:06 pm (they close at 7 pm). How disorganized can one business be. I STILL want the recording of the first conversation with MIA (employee #1242076). My registration reference number was 839-340-40. I asked Mia to allow me to talk to her regional manager - Alicia at phone number 800-637-1001. I then called back and spoke to Jennifer (employee # 1253057) in customer service. This conversation wasn't very productive until I asked for upper management names. I have received the following names: Roger Bailey/Scheduling Office Manager; Michael Mikailonis/GM at Hixson Pike location; Patrick Spencer/Marketing Company President. His direct line is 865-312-8174 extn 774101. Now that Tax Season is over for me and I've had a vacation, I have full intention of calling him and telling him of my "incompetent" UHaul experience and asking for compensation of my CPA time needed to coordinate my U Haul reservation and “extra long” pick up time of equipment/vehicle. My billing rate is $350/hr!

The place was great and helpful, BUT, a strap came off of my car while towing it 600miles. Only light cosmetic damage. And after 12 hours of driving, was not in a state to deal with it. Overall though, and

My total experience with U-haul was horrendous and I will probably never use them again unless it is my only option. Spending two hours on the phone with 6 different people just to find the storage unit and drop off location is unacceptable. Being given false information repeatedly is absurd. Would be nice if they could build a bigger loading and unloading dock ( roofed area). We had to do this in the rain and the makeshift roof area wasn’t enough

I originally reserved at the Ashland terrace for a 10ft truck and tow dolly. They relocated me to broad because they didn't have a tow dolly I missed the call on the way to Ashland terrace because I was driving to the location. I get to broad and they make a comment about how I'm late, again because I went to Ashland terrace and can't supply me with a 10foot truck because they don't have one, I get a 15 foot truck instead which wasn't good for me because I needed as maneuverable as I could get and this truck was tall and wide. I asked for a pickup instead but was told I'm getting a 15 foot truck. All in all not too happy with it, but I guess it could have been worse.

Rented a very well used truck (122K) that struggled up hills. Would not recommend this vehicle for anything but local moves. Company needs to keep track of this if they are not doing so already and customers need to check to see if equipment is completely reliable for long hauls. Service was excellent and professional.

I got charged for over 5 gallons worth of fuel at $4.?? per gallon. I filled the truck up to where the needle showed when I got it. I spoke with the manager and he seemed like he could have cared less. I realize that people probably try to rip you guys off on gas and thats probably the reason for this. Lesson learned.

Even though this wasn't the location I requested when I made my appointment the team there was very helpful and great. Also I was charged extra miles which I don't agree with. I drove the truck from pickup to my house to my destination to the drop off.. Not sure how I was over miles. Not happy about that.

truck was clean but the first time I closed the rear roll up door spring malfunctioned. Gear shift did not sit in reverse or Drive real well. it required some adjustment to get it to stay where put

I have utilized this location for several rentals. The staff is first-rate and very accommodating. I have no suggestions for improvement. They do a great job!

Only down side was the very slow check-in process. There was a line of people trying to get equipment and only one (seemingly new) employee at the counter. There were glitches in the computer, etc., and the transactions took a long time. Meanwhile, customers were returning equipment, and he stopped to check them in...Not what I had hoped for giving my short window of time to accomplish my tasks with the rental. Not his fault...just not the check-in I expected.
