Reservation was easy, pickup took only few minutes, and return was fairly easy. Uhaul should make customers who are returning after hours full details of what needs to be done at the time of equipment pickup. My truck had less than 1/8th of fule tank available at the time of pickup. We rode for 3 miles before the low-fuel warning light came on. We find this to be uncorteous to any customer, and this is simply poor supervision from the location's management. Also, the manager offered me a 15' truck for the same price, which I rejected in sight of my lack of expertise driving trucks altogether. The manager became upset with my choice, which was completely out of place. FYI: my experience with the online booking was far worst than any of the above. U-Haul's online booking system is confusing, it makes selections outside of the user's choice without warning or explanation, and getting help over the phone is tedious. A very user-unfriendly service at the end of the day.Glen T.

The problem I had was returning the truck after hours your app did not except my location so I had to pay $20 to you guys I don't think that was fair I sat there for about 45 minutes trying to get the app to recognize my location and it didn't so you guys got an extra $22 from me so no that wasn't good service at allDWIGHT W.

I returned the motorcycle trailer I rented 3 hours early. I just received a invoice stating that I'm being charged a late return fee. The man from in the store came out, inspected it and when I asked if there was anything else he needed from me he told me I was good to go. I've called 4 times and no one answered any of my calls. I am disputing this charge with my credit card, and reporting this unethical business practice to the bbb.MELISSA T.

Payed for a dolly and the dolly was not put in the truck. It was a very Inconvenience for me. I had to go try and find one to move with. I had got to my moving destination so this was difficult, Now I'm charged for extra mileage because of this.Kathy M.

I may have left something in the trailer and I cannot get a hold of anyone. It should not take an hour on hold to talk to someone at a small location. I saw how busy it is, I know someone can answer the phone. Now I have to drive 15 miles out of my way to talk to someone in person instead of just a two minute phone call. Ridiculous.Miles K.

I had a 24/7 truck rental that was boxed in and I had to wait an hour for the store to open so that I could leave the lot with my rental. Was on hold with customer service for 45 mins trying to arrange for a different truck that was accessible. Nobody picked up. So I sat in the lot stuck for the first hour of my reservation.Matt D.

Hinges and mechanical parts of the towing trailer were rusted and difficult to maneuver. Employee saw me coming back to return the towing trailer 7:20 and he told me that he was closing at 7:30 so I came back 10 minutes earlier to return it, by the time I walked to the office he had already left I don't think this location knows very much about good customer service.MARTIN R.
Rented a tow trailer . It was malfunction and broken . Not stable to tow after leaving for one way bouncing around and fish tailing broke my windshield. And I had to drive 1200 miles speed limit 35 to 45 mph. All the way to TX. With emergency flashers on. Stressed out and upset through this ordeal and by the time I got to Arkansas they were by appointment only for help and they would not help me with the tire harnesses to secure the tires . And now I have a crack windshield. Very disappointing I couldn't even get road side service there were noneDonna S.

The manager came off really rude and disinterested when I asked questions. Additionally, he provided absolutely no help as I expressed my lack of knowledge. Next time, I will definitely use another location. I prefer some level of customer service.ANGELA M.
Even though I had a reservation, my truck and extras were not ready when i got there. Truck door was frozen and truck was covered with snow. That would have been fine, but my brother had to clear all of the snow off of the vehicle and get the door open. We were told that Uhaul did not have a brush or snow scraper to clean off the truck, and never offered to clean the truck once I retrieved a snow scrapper from my own car. He just walked away. And the tech took so long bring the pads and dollys to the truck, we were there about 35 minutes just trying the get the truck ready to go (on our own). 35 minutes of my rental time, of which I was charged for 2 days?!!!?? I have been a client of U-Haul for ten years. The experience I had in the last few months was so extremely frustrated that I will never, ever work with U-Haul again. I was constantly given wrong information, my account information was messed up, even after I had called customer service and updated it two times. I was told I can vacant my unit a week after my bill's next payment cycle and I will not be charged, but I was charged for the entire month.
