There was only one thing and after dropping it off it really kind of sat with me to wonder what could've happened to me on the road. Basically the fuel line was cut so when I put gas upon returning it, it was all just coming out the bottom, I have a video of it because I was trying to fill it up to where it was when I picked it up but gas just everywhere. Other than that amazing everything was good and I'm glad it didn't leave me on the side of the road with the gas leaking out.

I absolutely love and appreciate your staff at this location. They were extremely efficient and professional.
As far as improvement, I would make improvements to your APP. There are redundant I issues with repeat questions. The APP should coincide with the emails u-haul sends out.
The multiple emails can be consolidated and the links in the emails should transition more efficiently.

6x12 trailers with no ramps should specify if it has a 6 foot opening or not. Because some do and some don't have a 6ft wide openings even if it states it does in the facts area of the description ! Saves people from wasting their time by getting there and not having what we need.

The license plate registration sticker on the trailer I rented expired in December 2024. This should have been updated over a year ago to avoid a renter getting pulled over and cited for expired tags on a rental unit.

The height of the hallways and storage unit downstairs were very low and not easy to access for people taller than 6ft. The facility is marketed as temperature controlled but in the summer mornings, it feels cooler outside than inside. The two-step process to use my access code seems redundant and tedious.

No elevator for the second story, no cameras on second floor (I saw video wires installed but no camera connected), access hours changed to office hours without noticed. (I wasted 200$ of gas and 1 day) , the staff did not admit they changed the hours and said "the access hours are for the staff". (I asked why was I able to go in before after office hours) answer "must have been a system error." It is very dangerous carrying things up and down the stairs.

The employees constantly harassed me after I moved my stuff out. I paid $100 to settle and got my stuff out. I informed them that I didn’t have a truck to move the box spring and mattress and that they could just throw it away. They claimed I put the lock back on but I didn’t. They constantly called me insinuating I didn’t move everything out, until my husband called and they finally stopped.

This U Haul facility at 1961 E Covina Blvd has an outstanding customer service staff. The only reason I wasn’t satisfied and didn’t give this review a 5 star is that they have 1 staff employee & the store manage, that will not go beyond their scope to get you an answer or to satisfy their customers’ need.
Had to end up contacting the company President to resolve my issue, when it should have been properly handled by the manager.
Overall, the issue was resolved and I’m happy with the outcome, but the staff will not listen to reason nor do they care about any billing concerns.

Helpful staff. Well run facility. The clean restroom in the office and sales area was much appreciated. Carts were always available. The alarm system actually works at this facility. The only (but small) negative was that access to our unit ended every day when the office closed for the day, as our very clean, well lit and air-conditioned unit was located behind the fence.

Came from Florida and did not have my storage unit available and they said UHAUL DOESN'T TELL THEIR CUSTOMERS THE TRUTH AND LIE TO THEM ABOUT THEIR UNIT BEING Available. First off, this place was expensive, raised my price a couple times and they didn’t help anyone during covid when everything was shut down. You still had to pay the full price which was quite difficult at that time. Also, the vast majority of the employees are RUDE. Like they hate working there, but who wouldn’t when having to deal with an a-hole manager like Jeremy?! That guy was the worst to deal with! The worst encounter with him was when I was moving out and my movers truck was blocking the driveway. I understand that it’s a safety hazard, however all he had to do was ask nicely. Not come over and throw a God awful tantrum about how the fire department is there every other day! Then came over to my drive up storage area and threw another tantrum about how there’s a “corporate apartment” in “that” building and he needs to have at least one parking for them. Mind you, his employees had their cars parked in that area but he made us move our cars when we were obviously busy moving out! The best part of that? Well not 10 minutes after we moved a couple cars, another car gets there and parked in front of the “corporate apartment” area and low and behold it’s two of his employees. Are you kidding me?! This guy is a real piece of work. Another issue I had a couple times is that where the drive up storage was, there’s a chain link gate that’s supposed to be open until 7pm. Well it wasn’t a couple times which made it quite difficult to get to my space. Anyways, my main issue is the manager and the employees. They’re horrible to deal with, don’t rent here if you can avoid it! Expensive and terrible customer service!

I signed up for autopay and U-Haul made an error and did not do my autopay and charged me $30. Customer service said they’d deduct it from my next bill, they never did. The Covina manager is VERY RUDE
