return home with rented truck to find a combination lock, but only got a key. Tried to call store, redirected to corporate, no answer for 45 minutes. Movers are waiting to load the truck. Had someone drive to the store, and the get help. She called me & let the associate talk, said nothing he could do. Drove the truck back, they opened the lock. I had to pay the movers for another 2 hours. The most upsetting is that they were rude. Look like they were understaffed for the 1st of the month moving weekend.NATALIE W.

The person....Susan at checkin was very rude but otherwise everyone was nice and great! Susan literally said to me if you don't complete your contract we will call the police. I've used this location and service before and always returned ontime or early. Her comment was very uncalled for and her being on here earbud cell the whole time too. When I picked up the truck. I checked to make sure no damaged. I did less than 15miles they say the gas was not filled back I said yes I did I was charged $54.00 for gas because they made a mistake and when the seen it was a mistake they said it was nothing they could do they still charged me. I will never make that mistake again with them.April B.

Upon returning truck today (approx. 2pm EST), lady behind counter was rude and appeared to be bothered that a customer had the nerve to approach her. When I called her out on it and asked why she's treating me this way, she said "she's asked that a thousand times a day" and she's sick of hearing it. After asking her if she ever considered why "everyone" is asking this, she told me to leave the store as she walked away into a back office. She just seemed to have no customer service skills whatsoever. Would not recommend this store. What can you do? Hire people that respect your customers. The church custodian next door was kind of a problem. I'm sure you're aware of it. There should be some sort of parking notice or boundary so people know where U-Haul starts and ends other than that the manager was great the staff was great the equipment was great thank you very muchJohn R.
Had a terrible confrontation with the general manager. The employee that rented me the trailer was courteous and professional. When I returned it a few hours later I unhitched the trailer where the original employee hooked it up. Went in and told her I had returned the trailer to its original location. She asked me for my last name. Looked me up in the system, and informed me I was good to go. Ran into the general manager outside and he told me I had to bring the trailer back over to the front of the building and wait to be checked in. I asked him if he wanted me to physically pull the trailer The 50 or 60 yards. I asked him if he wanted me to risk injury attempting to rehitch the trailer. He stated he didn't care how I managed to move the trailer from where it was going to end up anyway. Stated it was U-Hauls policy and that was final. I reminded him that the U-Haul employee had already cleared me in and said I was free to go. He used his index finger to underline the "General Manager" logo that was stiched to his shirt. He said it didn't matter what an employee of U-Haul informed me of because she worked for him. He then threatened to $20 to my bill. I informed him I would report him. Listen up this is important. The car carriers full trailers to carry vehicles the axles are located in the wrong place. They are too far back. Caring a simple Camaro 70% of the weight was on the tongue. I have had this issue several times with several cars. There was so much weight that going over railroad tracks I would bounce and it would scrape the road. I took a scale jacked it up to where it should be and weighed 960 pounds on the tongue of my Reese hitch. The axles need to be moved forward at least 12 inches to make these trailer safe. I know you've been using them for a long time, but the design is wrong and flawed.Frederic W.
RE:Â 34291159 No one has ever called me regarding this incorrect bill.Â I picked up a 10' Uhaul to move from Cocoa, FL to Merritt Island, FL on 7/23/21 (I have leases to prove this).When picked up, the AC unit had just been repaired and the mechanic just provided the lady with the key while we were there. The Uhaul was picked up at 10:46 am and returned the same day at 2:01 pm. Please review the records as I only went 13 miles on the dot. This is easy to prove. My fiance took pictures of the odometer at the start and end of the trip. The customer service at Uhaul is horrible. No one listens to the customer.Â I am not paying this bill! If it is placed on my credit report or harms me in any way, I will contact an attorney for the grief that Uhaul has continued to put me and my fiance, Jacob Hadden, through.Â My fiance and I have been on hold for hours just to talk to someone with customer service. Still, no one has returned our calls. We both have jobs so we don't have time to call Uhaul for several hours each day. I will continue to email Uhaul until this bill is resolved.Â This fraudulent bill is absolutely absurd and ridiculous and continues to cause stress. I am not payment a bill I do not owe. The person who helped me was very dry and unpersonable, unlike she was with the costumer right after me. The truck had less gas then what it showed on the paper, it was near empty and the paper showed 1/4, for a truck that size I had to spend an extra 30 dollar just to get to the point it showed on the paper.Joao Victor D.

The pick up and the equipment was great. The drop off proved to be very frustrating. We arrived back before closing but was told that although we were there before closing they refused to check in the equipment. They forced us to do it online or pay an additional $25.00. My initial in person reservation was pleasant and above standards. Knowledgeable and professional. Pick up day?..my guy was not present. I had a new girl (First day on the job) and the Red head's but case decided to disclose that aloud and condemning the manager) who was summoned to train her that day in question. I was 3rd in line and ALL three of us were disgusted in how Red' treated her and THEN customers. I'm coming up to location tomorrow and speak with manager. Said Red' was asked by "New Girl"... I don't know how to answer this man's question about his storage ... Red'... "Don't ask me, I don't know anything about lockers". THEN walked out. Customer service needs improving. Representative made me feel like I was doing her a favor by being there. 1 minute briefing on use of vehicle. When called back the following day to get moving blankets informed ones you had were reserved and no assistance provided. Home Depot was more than willing to assist. I know that I can go to my local U-Haul Store in Rockledge, Florida, and they will take care of me every time. The check out procedure (pick-up truck) was informative and smooth throughout, just as the check back in procedure. I believe the young lady who checked me back in was "Missy" and she really took care of my check-in procedure and me. Her customer service was excellent. Roadside service is VERY POOR. A tire exploded whilst enroute and I was unable to get service. I had to continue towing the car carrier for many miles to a convenience store who also was a Uhaul agent. After many frustrating hours two tires were replaced and I was on my way. A two hour trip took about six hours. Thumbs up for the original location.. Three thumbs down for breakdown assistance once you are on the road..You are on your own once you leave the rental store..William C.

Texting on the phone seemed to be more important than greeting & serving customer. I thought it to be comical that the gentleman outside servicing the vehicles had a bad air hose, a pvc coil type that had a hole in it. He asked the office guy for a new hose and he brought one out dragging it on the groundGerald K.
U-haul is the worst company on the face of this Earth I would never recommend them to anybody that I know even the worst enemy I have I would not recommend you Hall to. The company told me that they would reimburse me examine a dollars for my inconvenience in my frustration they have not given me back one penny of what they said they would do and now I don't even expect them to give me back anything they are not people of their word. I am relocating to the Melbourne area from the Clearwater area and had hopped to find a storage area closer to where I was going to be living. Even though I called to reserve storage space more than a week ahead of my moving date the Rockledge/Cocoa facility was the only one with a climate controlled space of at least 10 x 10 available within 30 miles of the facility in Melbourne at the intersection of Babcock and Palm Bay road. Everything was great until I rented a storage space. I purposely went into this location 3 days prior to moving in to see about a storage space. I asked for the $89 storage space and if they had it one the first floor, since I am renting this for my mom who is moving in with me and can not go up and down stairs, because she's going through cancer treatment. I was told yes and shown a unit on the first floor. I even made a reservation for this storage unit. On the day I arrived with my mom's things I was told that the unit I was shown is not going to be $89, but approximately $160. So after attempting to close my storage earlier than a month since I found somewhere to reside ONLY 3 DAYS after paying the entire $135 for my unit I was told by the people over the phone & the manager at the Rockledge location that I was unable to be prorated any amount & that it was up to the location manager. Next from the very beginning I was offered a one way deal so that when I used the Uhual truck my first month of storage is free. After arguing & still paying the money upfront 2 weeks later I was told it was stay on my account instead of being refunded back to me. I will never tell anyone to return from here. Also if your going to offer such large units atleast have a light in the back of the unit! I only liked for one or two people to assist me at this location. One of the guys I no longer see he left & Darryl. Darryl is beyond nice & helpful! From returning the uhual unloading it as well & any time before I left.
