Do not call it "guaranteed" delivery. "Estimated" delivery is more accurate. Make sure your employees have access to tracking information so they are able to provide specific information about the container's location and estimated arrival. Enforce better communication between the phone reps and the store employees to ensure access appointments are scheduled and the box is ready for the customer.Deborah L.

The customer service was fine, but there was a mis-understanding about return time. When asked how long I would have the vehicle, I guessed, not realizing that was the exact end time. I had thought I had the entire day, and as because I was late per contract, I was two hours early from closing. I was charged an additional day. I understand the contract, but the service agent should have made clear the policy, or at very least, that my stated time was the contract time. Not cool. Also, the yard agent was far from friendly and gave the impression I was a getting in the way of him doing his job.PAUL H.

The truck was extra dirty inside and smelled. Location is great and staff is top notch. Everyone was exceptionally helpful. Truck was not visibly dirty but something was spilled and not cleaned up very well. Once in the truck you could smell it. It did not look dirty but it was.NATALIE C.

She accommodated us in so many ways that allowed us to accomplish our goals in a timely manner. Without her thoughtfulness, we would have been delayed in our travels. Will not be using this location again, and not sure uhaul again in general. Check in this morning was fine. I was told the truck had a full tank, which it showed upon starting up. I made it about 2 miles down the road and the needle dropped an 1/8th of a tank, so it was clearly on the cusp of a "full tank". The brakes on this truck were some of the loudest squealing brakes, I've heard in a long time. About 15miles in to my trip, the truck began to bog down, the air conditioning began to blow oven hot air (which I promptly turned off) and the check engine light came on. As a precaution, we kept the A/C off (very uncomfortable) I called, what I thought was my local u-haul number, and waited almost 40min on hold, for a lady to tell me to bring it up to them, when I return the truck. I drove straight to the facility from Melbourne, where I waited almost an hour to be assisted by the manager on duty. I explained to him all of the inconveniences with the truck, and never received an actual apology or credit/refund offer. In fact, I just got around to examining my emailed receipt, and noticed a 15gal fuel charge, because I returned to facility without stopping for the fear of breaking down and being stranded. I drove a total of 61 miles, which I was charged for accordingly in addition. Wasn't looking for a free rental or anything, but the 15gal charge on top of the poorly maintained truck, will have me looking elsewhere in the future.MICHAEL F.

This was all good except for your phone customer service. It gets a 1. Lost calls, put back on hold, looooonnnnggg wait times, bad advice. I suggest you have a senior level manager...actually better, someone in that manager's household, book a truck and arrange for after hours pickup. Then they will see the problems.Mark G.

Everything was great until I rented a storage space. I purposely went into this location 3 days prior to moving in to see about a storage space. I asked for the $89 storage space and if they had it one the first floor, since I am renting this for my mom who is moving in with me and can not go up and down stairs, because she's going through cancer treatment. I was told yes and shown a unit on the first floor. I even made a reservation for this storage unit. On the day I arrived with my mom's things I was told that the unit I was shown is not going to be $89, but approximately $160. Unfortunately we had to rent a unit on the 2nd floor, which is not good, since there's no elevator at this location.ANGELICA L. | First Impressions
Everything was great until I rented the storage. I personally went to this location 3 days ago to ask about the $89 dollar storage unit and that I needed a first floor since they do not have an elevator and my mom is getting treated for cancer and can not go up and down stairs. I was told that they did have a unit available and a young man even showed me the unit on the first floor, which I even reserved with the help of this young man. The day I got there with my mom's things, I was charged approximately $160 for the storage unit instead of the $89 which I was told 3 days prior. I am very disappointed with this company, because we had to rent the storage unit on the 2nd floor since I had the truck there and did not have time to find another storage unit. The best way to improve the customer service is to, be honest and honor the price that was said to a customer. We rented a 10 foot truck and auto transporter. It towed very well. However - two things: 1) the cab didn't smell clean and 2) it was very noisy inside the cab on the passenger side going down the road (engine noise)Thomas L.

Truck needs new u-joints and the climate control has a vacuum leak somewhere, A/C only blows through the defrost vents (standard fault mode w/ loss of vacuum). So after attempting to close my storage earlier than a month since I found somewhere to reside ONLY 3 DAYS after paying the entire $135 for my unit I was told by the people over the phone & the manager at the Rockledge location that I was unable to be prorated any amount & that it was up to the location manager. Next from the very beginning I was offered a one way deal so that when I used the Uhual truck my first month of storage is free. After arguing & still paying the money upfront 2 weeks later I was told it was stay on my account instead of being refunded back to me. I will never tell anyone to return from here. Also if your going to offer such large units atleast have a light in the back of the unit! I only liked for one or two people to assist me at this location. One of the guys I no longer see he left & Darryl. Darryl is beyond nice & helpful! From returning the uhual unloading it as well & any time before I left.
