In my particular situation the trailer that I had originally rented was from a different location. U-Haul then reached out to me to tell me that the location I had chosen did not have any trailers for me. They then redirected me to a different location however because I was relocated I was not able to check in online. I had to get in line at the location and wait. I'm sure this could have been avoided if I would've checked in online. Other than that everything else went smoothly. The attendance helping me attach and detach the trailer from my truck was extremely helpful.Manuel L.

Poor pick and return process. Why are locational options provided at the point of reservation if UHaul then selects a different location that creates inconvenience and defeats the purpose. Return was also poor as after hour returns at storage facilities should include gate code as all storage facilities have gates. Otherwise do not allow afterhours returns at self storage properties. I lost close to 2 hours changing the drop of location late night and got lucky it was before 9pm otherwise customer service would be done for the day. Please credit for all the inconveniences. Make sure xommunucation improve. People outside dont know what people inside are doing and viceversa. Mentioned the gas tank was actually lower than it showed on the meter before leaving. Told me to snap anpic. I did. But when returning , told them it has 1/4 tank instead of what they said it has. Still did not adjust the amount. Anyway. Service is a necessity. It different options would have been available â€¦im pretty sure they will change how to do customer service.Stephan S.

The male agent at the counter about 5 PM on Sunday ,9 Jan 2022 gave very poor instruction in regard to the rental. He mumbled and spoke very softly when asked a question. The late return instructions on your website are difficult to understand. Take pictures of what???FREDERICK K.
One of the tires was bald. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! If the tire had blown out on the highway it would have been disastrous!!! Not only does the equipment need to be clean, but it NEEDS TO BE WELL MAINTAINED! IT WAS NOT!!! We rent the enclosed 5x8 trailer a couple of times per year. Now, not only do I need to check to make sure it's clean, but I need to make sure that it's installed/connected properly and that that tires are safe! In the past I've received a trailer that had not been cleaned inside. I had a trailer come off of the hitch as it was not installed correctly. And now, I was given a trailer with a bad tire. The rubber was lifting and separating from the treads so that you could see the belts below the rubber. I will NOT rent from this location again. I have used U-Haul at other locations but the U-Haul Doral # 787015 has the BEST customer service and professional staff I have come across in a very long time. Jenny, took my reservation after I explained another U-Haul called to let me know they no longer had cargo vans the day before my reservation. Jenny took her time and reserved what was available a 10" truck. When I arrived, I explained to Jorge Diaz that I really needed AC to transport wedding flowers for our busy season, he went out of his way, made a few phone calls and made sure I had a cargo van. Jorge Diaz is a great employee and went out of his way to accommodate my request for a Cargo Van. I am very grateful and will always use this location for all my rental needs. Thanks you, to the caring employees willing to accommodate customers request and provide Excellent Customer Service. This van rental was disastrous and a very bad experience for me. First: U-HAUL sent me an email to receive the rented van at an address where there was a laundry and no one knew about my rent. Second: On Friday, December 10, they had to make me a call to get agreement on and schedule available time, equipment and location. I never received it. Third: On December 11 at 11:30 am I made a call to U-HAUL to explain my situation and that I needed the VAN. A girl got my call and was able to arrange for me to pick up a truck at 7700 nw 77 ct. Medley. Fl. That was not what I had rented. Fourth: For delivering the truck to the same place where I received it, which was logical, since I had to leave my car there, they raised the price of gasoline from $ 0.99 to $ 1.19 per mile. Inexplicable for someone with a sense of analysis and understanding. Fifth: The U-HAUL website does not give the option to deliver the rented VAN or TRUCK to the same address where it was received. Unfortunately we have to use the U-HAUL service on occasion but I do not recommend it to anyone. Order Summary A local U-Haul representative will call you by 6pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 to get agreement on and schedule available time, equipment and location. I initially made the contract with the UHaul located at 6150 W 20th ave for a 9' cargo van. The van was not available. My choice was a pick up truck or nothing. The pick-up was at another location. Needless to say, this was a frustrating deal. I had to uber to two different locations when my initial contract had the van and the location nearest to my home address. Reserved a vehicle online at least 5days in advance, one way trip an boy was i in for a surprise when i made it to Florida. I received a text saying there was a delay with the vehicle i was renting for relocating my home. Call customer service to be told i wouldnt be able to get a vehicle for days. Now i felt stuck because i was driving the vehicle to my destination one way, so i called other companies to see if they could accommodate me with not much luck because i was on a budget and the lowest bidder at the time was my go to old faithful Uhaul. Spent most of the day calling uhaul until i got the right person on the phone ready to help. At 3:30pm i was finally able to acquire a vehicle in medley which i later learn after getting on the high that the brakes were screaming which made my trip full of anxiety know i just needed to make it home.
