This has been the single worst experience of my life dealing with this company . I will never recommend this company to anyone ever. As amatter of face I will warn them never to use this company for anything. Me and my family almost died using your poor equipment and and I was lie to and charged to extend my rental after being told that there would be no additional charge... Not to mention I had wait for hours for a repair and I had two tires blow up on me. Making me late for my appointments and putting me out over $ 1500 in hotel fee.... NEVER AGAIN!!!!Shakena G.

My reservation was wrong. When I returned the truck a day early I was charged extra. I was told by several people that they could not find any record of my truck. Yet they are still being charged for it. I will never use you all again and I will let everyone that I know that this service is unacceptable there is no compassion and lack of understanding for your own systems, that fall back onto the customer.BIONCIA Q.

First my husband Darren Owens made reservations 2.5 weeks prior to rental for 9/19/21. He received an email on 9/17/21 that the location of truck pickup had been changed. Which this location was additional 30 miles out of the way but ok. We arrived Sunday morning 9/19/21 at 6:15 am Springhill Ave Mobile, AL to pick up truck. After several attempts to log in and do on line pick up we kept receiving no reservations for our number. Darren then called customer service support and waited on hold for 41 minutes. After getting rep we were on phone for 1hr and 17 minutes trying several different attempts of verification codes to signing out of account etc... Representative finally got help to cancel reservation and we had to set up rental account in my name. This is beyond ridiculous and between costing us alot more money and time !!! Very poor and uhaul had no problems taking our money!!!Shelbie M.

Terrible customer service and rude employees upon move in should have been a sign to go elsewhere. Moved out August 21st and followed all steps online to complete move out process. Manager never confirmed move out on her end, yet a week later when the next months rent would have been due started sending letters for rent and overdue fees. Attempted to contact her multiple times to correct this and complete the move out on her end. She never returned emails or calls. Contracted corporate several times and each time they said they saw the notes on the account from the previous corporate call noting I had moved out and for the manager to complete her portion of the move out. It was not until 5 days after my most recent contact to corporate when they finally pushed the case through to upper management, causing her regional manager to be notified of what she had been failing to do, that she completed the move out and I received this email to review the facility. Tisha Couch is either an unfit manager, or just flat out lazy. Which seems to be a trend in this area among Uhaul facilities. I had to find someone to help me in the office, the front tire was going low, I had to take the sign out of the windowDeanna M.
The staff was super friendly and helpful when you could find them. The truck had a leak from what I'm assuming could only be rain. I had the AC blowing and it never leaked then. I had standing water on the center console and in the passenger floor board. The back was dirty and not swept. Also for some reason the "Tow" button would engage everytime you turned the engine on. Was not greeted upon walking in. Was initially told that the rental would not be checked in because the worker was not going outside in the light rain. I advised that I would check in the rental myself using the uhaul.com portal, at which time another worker assisted in checking in the truck. Thank you to the worker that assisted, but not what I expected from the worker that wouldn't help considering I paid close to a $1,000 for a rental.Anthony B.

I already pd 230$ for the truck rental for the weekend and brought it back 15 miles over my aloted minutes.. they charged me 190$ dollars more for the truck.. so total price for 2 & 1/2 days was 420$? Set out tp rent a 20' van at Gov. St UHaul. Ended up with a 26' van downtown which added about 25 miles ($24.75) to my rental plus the additional cost of gas for the larger truck. People were nice but the website is terrible; based on rentals "in my area" and assuming that I am happy to have whatever UHaul provides. Confusing messages were sent to me about the equipment and the need to confirm what had already been confirmed as well as an online check-in that proved pointless as I had to stand in line anyway. Poor customer service in reservation. People at the store, equipment and rate were ok but reserving the truck tried my patience with delays and changes to both equipment and location.David W.

The only negative was trying to get through to the Mobile AL office by phone. It took a very long time, with the phone rolling over to different locations throughout the South. But making up for that were these excellent employees: T-Sha in the Mobile office, Savanah the driver & especially Davis Brasher a terrific U-Haul customer service rep.MARK S.

This location is great when the Manager "TISHA" is on duty pass that its a waste of time. The employees doesnt know, nor will they find out what can be done to better the situation. TISHA cant be in alll the places all the time but, when she is the job gets done! She understands lifes changes and how important it is to get the job done! I originally made my reservation for Friday, July 30th. On the 29th I received the message that my truck and trailer would be ready at a location in Fairhope. I went there the next morning and they didn't have it. They told me it was back at the originally requested pick-up location. I went there. Nope. Nothing available within 50 miles. I was then told by a regional manager that the Springhill location in Mobile would have it available Sunday morning. They did, but gave me a much larger truck meaning a lot of extra gas. Overall, not the best experience. It was reminiscent of the rental car episode of Seinfeld. (If you don't know it, look it up on YouTube).Timothy G.

The check engine light came on almost immediately after pick-up. I called the 800 number, but never got through to anyone. I used the website to chat with a representative, which was only minimally helpful. She said if the truck is running well, just ignore the light. I have to travel over 700 miles staring at a check engine light, stressing and wondering when it was going to blow up and I've have to pull over, get a new truck, transfer all my items, etc. This stress was unnecessary and obviously detrimental to my moving experience.Rob E.

They have changed mangers so much when you go inside you don’t know who’s the manger and who’s not on my due date I have people calling me on the same day my storage is due and I got a $15 late fee the same day and then the manger had used my credit card cause I paid my bill with her with my card she used my card the next month and paid my bill and said that I told her to sign me up for autopsy why would I tell a person I heartily even know to do that how do you just use a person card without their permission this area can not ever keep no manger at every time you go there it’s a bunch of people hanging out in the front of the office like they just came from a club they are so unprofessional and ghetto it used to not be like this right now no one has no respect for anyone I love my storage other than that I have been with uhaul since 2017 but the choice with management now is terriblelinnea l. | First Impressions

The only thing I dislike about this storage facility is access to second floor. No elevators. Everything has to be physically carried. I understand it’s a historical building and the city will not allow it, but if customer satisfaction is a priority, why not consider adding it on the outside.
